Meteora is the second most important monastic center in Greece. The first ascetics came here in the 11th century. They flourished as a monastic center between the 13th and 14th century as many people who lived in the nearby areas embraced the monastic way of living. Ioannis is an amazing person! He has great life experiences, deep knowledge of the history and culture of Ioannina and Greece in general and interesting stories to tell. He didn't feel like a guide at all, but more like a friend that we had known for a long time. He clicked very good pictures and videos and had lots of things to say for every single place that he showed us. He shared the photos and videos with us shortly after the trip. He picked us up from our hotel on time with a very nice clean van. He drove very well. We feel very safe during the entire journey along the winding mountain roads. Overall, we had a great time thanks to this wonderful guide! Thank you, Ioannis :)

Unforgettable experience, very well organized and with excellent instructors! Thank you Vassilis, Vangelis and Kostis! We did the excursion at the beginning of September and enjoyed the calmness of the river on this route since there were not enough people! On our next visit to Epirus we would happily repeat it!

It was incredible. Perfect amount of hard work with lots of moments of pure relaxation and some excitement. The whole family loved it and felt safe with our guide. The pictures don’t capture how magical the experience is.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day visiting Meteora. The guide and the site exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Very nice activity. Well organised. Good experience for children. Nice welcoming stuff.
