This trip was a great introduction to Croatia, in a slightly cooler setting than the coast. The bus ride was around 3.5 hours each way with a break halfway through. It’s a beautiful ride through the country. The park itself is incredible. The tour takes you from top of the park to the bottom along gorgeous paths and boardwalks. It’s about 4 hours with a 30 minute break 2 hours in. Sandra and Z were great guides. Our group was around 45 people. While there were more people in the group than I anticipated it was still a great time and we got plenty of FaceTime with Sandra and Z. They did a great job explaining the park’s history and geology. Definitely recommend this trip if you have a day trip to spare in Croatia and want to see this national park. Note: you cannot swim in this park. That’s the other popular national park with waterfalls.

Highly recommended trip. Van was very big & comfortable. Group size was 7, perfect. Not too big. Bojan, our guide was very informative and we enjoyed his stories about Croatia and local life.. (i enjoyed his jokes too.. haha a very funny guy) He will give his recommendations and gave us options too :-) its summer time now, so we hiked at 35 degrees.. pretty warm. so pls bring your water along! the food inside the park are only sandwiches/burgers and only accept card! (not the tour company’s fault, pls don’t blame them haha) Enjoyed our day together, for sure! :-)

Amazing day! We were picked up from close locations to our hotels and safely driven in an air conditioned van to Plitvice Lakes and Rastoke. We stopped in Rastoke for about a half hour and the rest of the time was spent in the National park. The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. I actually was supposed to tour with a different company but they cancelled and I booked this one at the last minute. So glad that happened. Bring your own lunch; the park food is also be prepared for the last leg of the hike that is mostly incline. The rest was pretty easy walking.

The experience was great! Plitvice should be included in the bucket list. The guide knew the craft, very well versed, professional.

Amazing tour! Highly recommend this day- Nikki was an incredible guide as well.
