New Visiting Circuits at Machu Picchu Ministry of Culture Announcement Starting June 1st, new circuits will be implemented for visiting Machu Picchu. Our company offers all these circuits, according to availability. It is important to check the availability of each circuit before planning your visit. Circuit Options Low Season (October 16th – May 31st) 1. Panoramic Circuit Ticket + Upper Terrace Route - Allows the classic photo of Machu Picchu but does not include a tour of its Inca constructions (religious and urban sector). 2. Panoramic Circuit Ticket + Machu Picchu Mountain - Allows the classic photo of Machu Picchu and the hike to Machu Picchu mountain, but not a tour of its Inca constructions. 3. Complete Classic Circuit Ticket - Allows a visit to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and its main Inca constructions: Temple of the Sun, Main Temple, Sacred Rock, Temple of the Condor, etc. Also allows the classic photo. 4. Short Classic Circuit Ticket - Allows a visit to the Inca city of Machu Picchu, including the classic photo from the lower terrace and its main Inca constructions. 5. Royalty Circuit Ticket or Lower Part - Allows a visit to the Inca city of Machu Picchu via the lower part, including constructions such as: Inca House, Temple of the Sun, Sacred Rock, Temple of the Condor, and more. 6. After lunch travelers will be moved to their corresponding accommodations. By afternoon, enjoy a relaxing time in the Hot springs La Calera, our guide will assist you coordinating the time to visit the attraction. DAY 2 - TOUR TO COLCA CANYON AND TRANSFER TO AREQUIPA CITY Early pick-up from your accommodation in Chivay heading to the famous natural viewpoint La Cruz del Condor. On the way we will have stops through the picturesque towns of Coporaque and Maca where you will see the local dressed witth their colorful garments. Find amazing views of the Inca agricultural terraces and andean sceneries from the natural viewpoint of Antahuilque. Finally we will arrive to the famous viewpoint La Cruz del Condor, where you will have breathtaking views of the Colca Canyon and also gaze the majestic flight of the Condor. Ending the excursion, we return to Chivay town for lunch (if you selected the option when booking). After lunch you will be transferred to Puno city, the arrival to Puno city will be approximately by 7:00 PM.

Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa. Have breakfast and travel to the edge of the Colca Canyon, where you can see Andean condors. Make other stops, including the pre-Inca terraces of Antawilke, the Yanque hot springs, and a national reserve to see alpacas and vicuñas. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Choose from traditional dishes featuring Andean products. Afterward, stop at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve to see alpacas and vicuñas in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck, you might also see Andean foxes and other wild animals. Next, head to the Condor's Cross, where you'll have an hour to walk along the edge of the Colca Canyon and look for Andean condors. There's a condor nesting site nearby, and it's common to see several condors flying over the canyon at once. After your time at the Condor's Cross, begin your return journey to Arequipa.

Enjoy a 2-day trekking tour of Colca Canyon, and immerse yourself in beautiful landscapes while exploring one of the world's deepest canyons. Leave Arequipa and see Condor's Cross and views of Andean Valleys. Start the adventure very early with pickup from your accommodation in Arequipa, and travel to the Valley of Colca (3 hours). Make a short stop to have breakfast at Chivay. Continue the route towards the Condor’s Cross (3,800 m.a.s.l.) to watch one of the most amazing natural wonders: the condors flying. Reach the Pampas of San Miguel (3,300 metres above sea level). Hike at the bottom of the canyon, for 4.6 miles (3 hours). Arrive to the town of San Juan de Chuccho, to enjoy a well-deserved rest with lunch. Contine the trek through the towns of Cosñirhua y Malata for 2.5 more miles (2.5 hours). Arrive at Sangalle (2,225 m), a spectacular oasis where we will spend the night. Enjoy a bath in the pool, and have dinner at night. Wake up early the next morning to start the hike of 2.5 miles ascending the canyon slope, for around 3 hours, admiring the sunrise with incredible views, until we reach the town of Cabanaconde (3,230 m). Travel to the town of Chivay, making short stops to the viewpoint of Antahuilque, with beautiful views of Andean terraces and the valley of Colca. Visit the town of Maca, with a panoramic visit to its colonial church. Take time to visit the hot springs of Yanque and enjoy the powerful hot water pools have healing properties as well as relaxing effects before enjoying an optional tasty lunch at Chivay. You can take the transfer to Puno in a regular bus (optional), departing from Chivay at 01:00 p.m., and arriving to the main square of Puno at 7:00 p.m. Or, you can return to the city of Arequipa and pass near the National Reserve Pampa Cañahuas, home of different types of camelids such as llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos and arrive back in Arequipa. We will drop you off two blocks from Plaza de Armas.

Get picked up at the meeting point in Arequipa at 3:15 a.m. and take a three-hour bus ride through southern Peru to the village of Chivay at more than 3,000 meters above sea level. Stop for a delicious breakfast of bread with butter and jam, juice and coffee or tea. At more than 3000 meters above sea level we will stop for a succulent breakfast consisting of bread with butter and jam, juice and coffee or tea. Delicious! With our batteries recharged, we will head towards the Cruz del Condor viewpoint. From here you will be able to admire the Colca Canyon in all its splendor. Did you know that it is one of the deepest canyons in the world? In addition, we will see the occasional condor, as this area is perfect for the flight of this species of bird. We will leave the viewpoint and continue the route visiting other villages and viewpoints of the Colca Canyon as Wayrapunko or Antahuillque. Around 11:30 a.m. we will head to the thermal baths of Chacapi, where you will spend an hour enjoying its natural pools. After this dip, we will return to Chivay, where you will have free time to have lunch on your own. Finally, we will meet again and head for Puno, our final destination. During the six-hour drive, we will make stops to stretch our legs at the Patapampa viewpoint, from where you will be able to admire the majesty of the Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes. We will also stop at the Salinas Reserve and Lagunillas, to see if we are lucky enough to get a close look at some of the herds of camelids or flocks of wild birds that inhabit these areas. We will finish the excursion at the Puno Terminal at approximately 7:30 pm.

Pick-up from your accommodation in Arequipa around 3:00 AM to start your journey to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura road, bordering the Chachani mountain towards Pampa Cañahuas (Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve)  habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas. At approximately 6:00 AM, arrive at the town of Chivay; where you will enjoy your breakfast and then continue your drive for about 1 hour to arrive at Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, strategic point of observation of the Canyon and the spectacular flight of the Condor. On return, stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque that have beautiful colonial churches. From the viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque, observe the impressive andenería of the valley, the pre-Inca tombs and a pre-Inca model of the area carved in stone. Return to the town of Chivay for lunch and to rest walking through the little streets. Have the opportunity to enjoy the thermal baths in La Calera (optional) whose thermos medicinal waters oscillate between 35 to 38 degrees (celsius) of temperature in which you will stay approximately 1 hour, return to the town of Chivay. At 2:00 PM start your drive back to Arequipa, along the way, visit the highest point between the Colca Canyon and Arequipa: Patapampa (4800 meters), from this place see the volcanic mountain range. You will be back at your accommodation in Arequipa around 5:00 PM.

02:30 to 03:00 AM we begin the ADVENTURE TOUR IN COLCA 01 DAY with the pick-up of the passengers at the different hotels, to begin the trip through Yura. The trip will be made directly to the Cruz del Condor, stopping only for breakfast. At approximately 08:30 we will arrive at the Cruz del Cóndor from where we can appreciate one of the deepest canyons in the world and where the condor sanctuary is located. On the way back we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque that have beautiful colonial churches; as well as at the Antahuilque and Choquetico Viewpoints from where we can observe the pre-Inca tombs and models and the beautiful landscape of Colca with its impressive terraces. In addition, we will appreciate the typical costumes, the camelids and trained birds, and traditional drinks such as the Colca Sour made from Sancayo. 11:30 On the way we head to the Chacapi thermal baths, wells with natural views. 12:30 Then we will have an hour of lunch in Chivay and then return to Arequipa, 1:30 p.m. On the way back we will stop at the volcano viewpoint (highest point 4,910 meters above sea level), in the Tocrapampa wetlands where the diversity of wild birds, herds of alpacas and llamas can be seen; In Pampa Cañahuas we will observe herds of vicuñas (part of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve), the beautiful South American camelid with one of the finest fibers in the world. 17:00 approx. Arrival in Arequipa.
