The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in a van. You will head north from the city of Santiago along the Los Libertadores highway. On the way, you will pass by Salto del Soldado, where legend has it that a Chilean patriot distracted the royalists who were chasing him, separated from the group and led them on horseback through the ravines. Being closely pursued, he reached a steep ravine nine meters wide. There, he jumped with his horse, managing to reach the other side. You will also stop to take a photo at curve 17¡ of the famous Ruta Los Caracoles, known for its curves. In addition, you will visit the Portillo Ski Center and Hotel. You will have a set time set by your guide to visit the ski resort and the wonderful Laguna del Inca, which is located between the mountains. This lagoon also has a beautiful story about an Inca king. You will also have a picnic with the llamas on the mountain at no additional cost. Llamas are animals and must be respected, so it may not always be possible to see them. At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Santiago.

We will begin the day picking you up at your accommodation in Santiago On the road we will stop for all to prepare for this aventure with Restrooms, Coffee, snacks, Atm After this stop we will continue the journey on the road Los Libertadores to the valley of Los Andes where you will have the chance to see the tallest peck in the andes mountains called The Aconcagua with 22837 feet above sea level Then stop at the small village of San Esteban to visit a local Vineyard In Situ Famliy Vineyard with wine tasting included in their gardens beside the vines and the Andes as the back round After this activity we will use the Famous Panamericana road to go up the Andes, enjoying on the way the landscape of the magnificent Andes Range After riding the 29 switch backs called Los Caracoles we will arrive at the First and oldest ski resort in south America called Portillo, located beside the turquoise color Inca Lagoon, our Main attraction of the day at 9.360 feet above sea level. The group will have a free time to explore the shores of the lake and time to have lunch at the restaurant of Portillo Resort After this activity we will begin the journey back to Santiago stoping on the road on a local business for a Restroom stop where you will also have a time to interact with Llamas that belong to this place Then continue the journey back to the hotels dropping-off each one in their hotels

The tour starts with pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned van. You will head north from the city of Santiago taking Los Libertadores highway until the first stop to a giant monument that pertains to one of the most important episodes of Chilean history. Following this you will continue on the road, crossing the Chacabuco Tunnel, to the Aconcagua valley, declared the last winery valley of the country. On the road you will see Mount Aconcagua which has the tallest summit of the western and southern hemisphere. You will get to meet the official pet of Portillo Ski Center, a big St Bernard, which welcomes you to the start of your visit.  You will then have free time to visit the ski resort and the marvelous Inca Lagoon which is located between the mountains, this lagoon also has a beautiful history about an Incan King attached to it. You are also able to take the ski lift and enjoy a lunch with a beautiful view of the lagoon. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be brought back to your hotel in Santiago.

For this wonderful day, we will start by picking up at the hotel, we will make the first small stop for breakfast. We will continue towards the mountain range, stopping for photos and a short walk at the Chacabuco Monument, stopping for photos on the famous Caracoles road, stopping for photos on the Chile/Argentina border and the main stop to explore the Inca lagoon, where you can also enjoy the hotel structure. Your tour will begin as you are picked up from your centrally located Santiago hotel, at which point you will begin driving to Portillo. You will pass through the intermediate depression, and will also be able to admire the Andes mountain range. You will soon reach the Chacabuco Monument, which is a historical site where a battle for Chile's independence took place in 1817. You will then cross a tunnel which borders the region, before reaching a place where you can see the Aconcagua Mount in the background. Along the road, you will see the old Andean railway and, as we cross Rio Blanco, you can admire the small towns, mining camps, glaciers, and the impressive Andes mountains. You will reach Portillo and see the protective passageways that were built as shelters from avalanches which occur during the winter season. It will then be time for lunch (not included), as you marvel at the beautiful and imposing Inca Lagoon. Finally, you will be returned to your hotel in Santiago. If you choose the option with Aconcagua Park, you will also see Puente del Inca, a geomorphological curiosity that is 48 meters long, 28 meters wide, 8 meters thick, and is suspended 27 meters above the river. A series of stalactites, calcium inflorescences and winter ice needles hang from this natural bridge. After the visit to the Puente del Inca, head to the Aconcagua Provincial Park, where you can see the highest mountain in South America. Depending on time availability, a short trek may be available for interested guests.

We will leave early in the morning to visit the sector of Cajón del Maipo and Embalse El Yeso located in the middle of the Andes Mountains, where you will not find the comforts of other places, to visit the wonderful Embalse del Yeso (subject to traffic and weather conditions), the water reservoir located at 2500 meters of altitude. On the way, you will stop for breakfast (not included) in a rustic place before continuing the trip. Afterwards, you will arrive at the point where, accompanied by your tour guide, you will begin a 2 km hike to the viewpoint from where you will see the turquoise waters of the reservoir, which are suitable for fishing. You will also visit La Casa Chocolate, one of the most popular and representative tourist attractions of Cajón del Maipo, to finish with a delicious picnic with Chilean wine, and then return to Santiago. *The authorities may close the road to the Embalse El Yeso sector due to weather and road conditions. In this case the route will be changed to the sector of Lo Valdés and Las Melosas, or the sector of El Volcán - Baños Morales with similar mountain landscapes.

Here, you’ll enjoy exquisite wines surrounded by the impressive view of the mountains, its impotent infrastructure and its dream gardens - We continue along the Los Caracoles route, Route 60, Los Andes traveling through the 30 tight curves of this impressive road and take incredible photos - We reached the top! and we are welcomed by a mirror of water in the Laguna del Inca surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, we will have time to explore and enjoy the landscape - After exploring and marveling at the views, we can make our lunch stop at the first ski center in the country, the historic Hotel Portillo. - We will visit the Libertadores border crossing and one of the main commercial and tourist routes that link Chile with Argentina - Before returning to Santiago we will make a technical stop at the Ventisquero shelter to see llamas and buy Chilean empanadas (own expense) - We return to Santiago safely and leave you at your hotel after a day full of adventure.
