Good guide and driver, however it was not a day-tour rather half a day

Guide+driver were great.Finding them was the first challenge.I got a call to my room, went to the lobby right away, but there was nobody,so I waited+then the guide turned up.The stops were great but could have been longer considering that the tour turned out to be a half-day tour rather than the booked full day.We rushed through the sights+around noon time the guide said if he has a single visitor the tour will finish earlier.I wonder why!Just give your customers more free time to explore the sights once the explanations are over!I got 10,15 or 20 minutes maybe to have a look by myself and then we went on to the next sight.I also had a one hour lunch break after the 5 sights were over,if I assume that sb decides not to have lunch, the tour would finish even earlier.Bummer.Although in the description the last part of the day was planned to be shopping there was no plan from the guide.Upon insisting on the part, took me to carpet/printing shop+souvenir shop and were happy the day was over...

This tour was without a doubt the best of all our experience in India. Rakesh our driver great and was so friendly, he provided cooled water all day and after the tour took us to the elephant village for no extra charge just because we said we wanted to go. We ended up getting a lift from him all the way to Delhi for our flight a few days later! Our guide was also great, very informative and polite and took loads of great photos with us. I have seen other reviews that say this was only a half day tour, but its as long as you make it, we were out over 12 hours with our guide and driver in the end. Also the guide gave us a choice of price range and type of food for lunch which is unusual for tours like this and was very welcome! We ended up going to a very cheap traditional Rajasthani restaurant that was absolutely delicious. Furthermore, we didn't have enough cash to cover our lunch so Rakesh kindly subbed us the money and took us on a tour of several atms for us to get cash out after!

I had a fabulous day with Janu and Surya visiting the sites of Jaipur. Surya is so knowledgeable about the city and the history and helped to make places like the Amber Fort come alive to see how the kings and queens actually lived there. Both Janu and Surya could not do enough to make sure I enjoyed the day...greeting me with a rose garland and even hunting down a cold Diet Coke for me! The last stop of the day was to a textile factory where I learned about how camel hair carpets are made and how they block print fabric and even bought a tailor-made outfit that was delivered later in the evening directly to my hotel! I know that most tours (all tours) include some kind of ‘retail opportunity’ but this was actually interesting and there was no pressure to buy. (I had already told Janu I was interested in buying an outfit) Finally, Janu has also organised further transport for me for my return to Delhi. He really is super helpful and kind.

We elected to travel to Jaipur from our hotel in New Delhi by train, A driver picked us up from our hotel and drove us to New Delhi rail station. The train was a fairly modern air conditioned train called the Ajmer Satabdi Express and our seats were in the comfortable Executive Chair Class carriage. On arrival at Jaipur, we were met by Janu, the owner of the tour company who immediately made us feel very welcome. We then met our tour guide Kumar who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Janu stayed with us as our driver. The tour took us to Jantar Mantar, at site of very interesting large stone and marble astronomy instruments, the City Palace, the Amber Fort, The Water Palace as well as other fascinating places in Jaipur. During the drive between sites, Janu would give us interesting stories about old and modern Jaipur. A wonderful and fascinating tour which we immensely enjoyed.

This tour was really outstanding! I was fetched in a lovely vintage car from the Marigold Hotel movie by Rakesh which marked the beginning of the exciting trip. The tour guide, Krishna, was truly a knowledgeable man not just in terms of the history of Jaipur and India, but also the detailed astronomical science at Jantar Mantar! Over and beyond the amazing places of interest that Krishna and Rakesh awed me with, they also took the trouble to help me with my pharmaceutical needs. The lunch provided was definitely good quality and I enjoyed it very much! Absolutely loved this trip which has left with me very beautiful memories of Jaipur city and a wonderful impression of India too! I would highly recommend this inspiring trip to anyone who wants to get to know Jaipur! Thank you so much again, Krishna and Rakesh! :-)
