A great evening - and a nice way of seeing Teide

This was, I feel, a good value visit. We got picked up and dropped off very locally and got a comfy ride up through the Tenerife mountains. The meal in a local vineyard was tasty and homely with very nice wine and amazing views. We had a warm welcome there. We arrived at the peak of Teide with enough time to see the landscape and watch the sunset. We were way above the clouds and soon the sky became really dark. Daniella, who presented the information about the stars was confident and entertaining. It was an interesting presentation for novice stargazers. The advice to wrap up warm was spot on. My only criticism is that the commentary on the coach journey up was difficult to hear (partly due to the sound system and party due to noise of engine). However I think what we got for the price was good value for a couple and a lovely way to see Teide.

Be prepared to be sat on the coach for a long time! We were one of the first pick ups in Adeje and we’re on the bus for 80mins before the last people were collected. Another hour and we arrived at the restaurant for our meal. Lovely family owned vineyard and a very well spoken lady who served a lovely meal and copious glasses of their own brewed wine (white was fantastic). You can also taste their other wines on offer and buy before leaving (I recommenced fruity rose). Then the stargazing. Our guide was super and really knew his stuff but having to speak in 3 languages meant a long time to wait in the chilly evening air! Take something warm - I had a scarf and coat and was still chilly, some got back on the bus as they were too cold! Great sky views though.

Tour wasinteresting missed the sunset since we were still on the coach, the dinner was lovely in a beautifull bodega that sells its own wine. The stargazing took place in a small parking area beside a road, cars on the road have to use their full lights so can be very intrusive, wish we had moved a little further to avoid this. The guide was very knowledgable of the constellations and the cosmologicaal equipment used on the island. Overall it was a good experience for anyone interested in the universe, but dont be expecting to use any telescopes to get a closer look at anything, as we were they are not provided.

The island of Gomera is absolutely stunning and the tour very enjoyable. There are plenty of stops for photo graphs and the mountain top restaurant picked for lunch has amazing views. The only thing I’d warn people about is this may not be the right trip for anyone with a fear of heights as not only are some of the roads used narrow with passing places there are a lot of tight corners when you see how close to the edge of a clog you are and how far down it is. This also applies to lunch as most tables are next to the floor to ceiling glass windows and it’s a very long way down.

It might sounds a bit off, but I had not enough time to do the tour. However, they were so nice to offer me to reschedule the trip. Unfortunately, I did not had enough time to reschedule the Tour. It was absolutely no problem for them. The Costumer Service is excellent! No problems at all! They went above and beyond to offer me different options. The service was execptional. I highly recommend this Company. They responded right away, no matter, what you asked. I hope to do this tour in the future. Thumbs up ! Thank you.
