In the morning, cross Chott el Djerid, a rust-washed salt lake, before hopping into a 4x4 for a ride to Onk Jemal. Explore a film set city built exclusively for Star Wars. After stopping for a Tunisian lunch at Gafsa, enjoy a photo stop in historic Kairouan. Marvel at the richly decorated mosques that give the town an abundance of character. Get dropped off back at your hotel at the end of the tour.

Start with pickup from your hotel and head to the Amphitheatre of El Jem. This ancient Roman theatre could seat 35,000 people who were entertained by gladiatorial fights and chariot races. You'll then head to Matmata, where you'll have lunch and visit the rock-cut cave homes that featured in two Star Wars films. Finish the day in the oasis town of Douz where you will stay overnight. Take an optional camel or carriage ride in the desert if you wish. After breakfast, cross the salt lake Chott el Djerid before jumping in a 4x4 vehicle for a ride to Onk Jemal, where you'll be able to see the film set city built for Star Wars. After lunch in Gafsa, finish up the tour with a photo stop in Kairouan, a great place to take lots of Instagram-worthy pictures of the intricately decorated Islamic architecture that the town is known for. Afterward, return to your original pickup point.

Day 1 Amphitheatre of El Jem We visit, with our licensed guide, the best-preserved amphitheater in the world at El Jem. This building, dating from the Roman era, is a witness to the glory of its lands at that time. Matmata We visit the dwellings of the troglodytes, the natives of this country, the Berbers, who lead a different way of life from the current one. These warm people will make us taste their local products and discover an extraordinary world. Sahara Desert At the end of the day, you will go for a camel ride in the middle of the desert, with a 360° view of the dunes, and you will admire the sunset, a wonderful moment. Accommodation: 4-star Hotel Day 2 Chott El Jerid We will admire the sunrise at the salt lake, a pleasant landscape where the Atlas mountain range draws us a melody of colors. Tozeur In Tozeur, we change the transport to a 4x4 circuit which lasts 3 hours with an exceptional change of landscape; we visit the canyons, the dunes, the oasis, and the decoration of the Star Wars movie. Kairouan We visit the city of Kairouan and the Great Mosque, the fourth holiest city for Muslims, where we will admire the medieval Islamic architecture. Kairouan is the capital of tapestry; we visit the house of carpets to get an idea of Tunisian craftsmanship.

You'll start from your hotel, After a short stop on the road, you will visit the colliseum of El Jem, then to be in the Rocky Sahara in the Berber Mountains, there you'll be hosted by a berber familly, to discover how Can they excavate their home underground, you'll taste a delicious mix of Olive oil and honey, WE can't miss Star Wars site. Finally you will be in Douz where you çan make activities such as Camel riding or quad (in extra). JEEP TRANSFER TO SAHARA FOR DINNER CAMPFIRE MUSIC WITH NOMADS The night will be in 4* hotel (B&B). Day 2 From Douz to the Big salt lake, then visit the narrow streets of the medina of Tozeur, then a 30 minutes trek in the wonderful Oasis of Chebika with a local guide. Waterfall of Temegza Oasis IS the next visit. Lunch (included) Then we finish in your hôtel in Hammamet.

Day 1: Douz – Sahara Desert Following a pick-up (03:30PM) from your hotel or accommodation in Douz, meet your Bedouin SAHARANSKY cameleers and begin your camel trek, you will enjoy riding the camel through the fascinating views of the golden dunes and the amazing landscape at sunset. Arriving at the desert camp, you will have a traditional Berber dinner along the famous flatbread prepared on open fire. Then spend the night under the starry Saharan sky, around the campfire. Day 2: Sahara Desert – Douz In the early morning, enjoy the charming sunrise camel ride and have a Berber breakfast, then continue to ride the camel through the remarkable dunes and fantastic landscape, from there, your Tunisian desert adventure will wind to a close, with a camel trek back to the initial meeting point, where your return transportation to Douz awaits. Arrival to Douz around 09/10AM.

Explore Tunisia's Sahara Desert on the back of a quad bike during this tour.
