And our final stop is the Chronicles of Georgia , huge stone monument that go by the different names , often called "Georgian Stonehenge" or "Georgian History Memorial" , monument depicts scenes from the 3,000-year history of Georgia and was designed and created by Zurab Tserteli, consists of 16 large columns that reach a height of around 35 meters each. We depart from Kutaisi at 07:00. Our first stop is in Surami, where we sample Georgian sweet bread known as “Nazuki.” We witness its preparation and are offered some to taste. From there, we continue to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, the religious center of Georgia. Our next destination is Jvari Monastery, offering breathtaking views of Mtskheta, the Mtkvari, and Aragvi rivers. After Jvari, we enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant serving delicious food. Once lunch is finished, we explore the old part of Tbilisi. Our itinerary includes visiting Metekhi Church, Europe Square, the Bridge of Peace, taking a cable car ride to Narikala Fortress, viewing Legvatkhevi waterfall, and experiencing the Sulphur Baths of Tbilisi. Once the excursion concludes, we drive back to Kutaisi, arriving in the city by 22:00.

All 4 places we visited were worth seeing. Robert spoke a lot in Russian and English about all the places. There was even singing on the bus and we heard Georgian music. It was a great trip. We'd love to do it again!
