The trip started with a well organized itenerary. Rukshan, our guide came on time to pick us up from the hotel and gave us valuable information throughout the journey. He was friendly, courteous, funny and knowledgeable. He even bought us King Coconuts on his own expense! Thanks to him the long journey from and to Colombo was fun! Once we were at Wilpattu another guide took over the jeep safari part and was also good. We sighted many animals and birds (Elephant, Fox, Deer, King Fisher, Stork) but unfortunately no Leopards. It had trained that morning and we assumed they were all on hiding due to that. We had a mild temperature (no sun) which was pleasant for the safari. The temperature dipped a bit as we progressed and it was a good thing we were prepared with light jacket and shawl to cover. As we went on a Tuesday there were not many visitors. Overall the tour was great value for money and I'd highly recommend it.

The driver was on time and got me safely to and from the National Park! I had an entire jeep to myself which was exciting. The safari guide didn’t give much information on what wildlife we saw… other than the species. Because he was in a private compartment at the front so you couldn’t easily ask questions or hear what he was saying. Unfortunately we didn’t see leopards but the national park itself and the other animals we saw were still incredible. Definitely recommend paying the park a visit.

Great discovery of this Wilpattu park which is very beautiful. However, we did not have the chance to see a leopard but had a very pleasant day.

A trip worth the price. Amazing experiences. I most recommend a guide and driver named Tharinda

The park is very sumptuous. Animals easily visible.
