  • Day Tour Dead Sea from Amman

    2. Day Tour Dead Sea from Amman

Leave Amman city behind and drive 1 hour to the Dead Sea, one of the most incredible places in the world. The salt lake is the lowest point on earth and the special climatic conditions have positive effects on dermatological and rheumatic diseases. The mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen of Sheba and Queen Cleopatra appreciated already the spa and health effects of the Dead Sea. Due to the high salinity one can float on the water. Moreover, the area plaid a significant role in the Bible, most popular is the destruction of the sinful cities Sodom and Gomorrah. Return transfer to Amman hotel.

Our guide was prompt and on time. He gave us a lot of very helpful advice and information throughout the day. The ride was comfortable and fun, and we were well taken care of throughout every aspect of the tour. He helped us save money on souvenirs and took us to an authentic shop with Dead Sea products and reasonable prices, and stopped on the way home for lunch. We would recommend him and this tour again for sure!

    3. From Amman: Amman, Jerash and Dead Sea Day Tour

At 8 am, you will be picked up from your hotel and start your tour of Amman. The geography is often described in reference to the eight circles which form the spine of the city. First Circle is located near downtown, and the series extends westward through Eighth Circle. A close second to Petra on the list of favorite destinations in Jordan is the ancient city of Jerash, which boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. Jerash lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, it came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities of the Decapolis League. Its 2km south of the main resort strip, is run by Amman municipality to give affordable access to the Dead Sea. The grounds are attractively landscaped and the beach is clean, with sun umbrellas, freshwater showers and a vibrant loc...

We had the most amazing experience with Jordan Private Tours and its all thanks to our tour guide Mohammed Abuhamdh . If you looking for a tour that is flexible and personal and not commerially orientated I strongly recommend this tour with this guide. He went above and beyond to make our tour a personal and memorable experience . The city of Jerash is a must see. Absolute treasure to still see parts of the city remaining. Its hard to believe you have history right infront of your eyes. Thereafter we had a delicious traditional lunch thanks to Mohammed. What an experience. The food the flavour the company. Highlight of the day was Dead Sea. Here again Mohammed had his personal touch. Ensuring we had a private experience by entering private beach at a small fee to ensure the waters

  • From Amman: Leisure & Wellness Tour to the Dead Sea

    4. From Amman: Leisure & Wellness Tour to the Dead Sea

After pickup from your accommodation in Amman, sit back and relax as you begin a full-day tour of some of Jordan’s most significant sights. Head to the Christian city of Madaba, ‘the city of Mosaics’. Madaba has the oldest known mosaic map of the holy land. Visit St George church, its archeological park as well as its museum.Next, visit Mt Nebo. It is said that Moses spent his last days on Mt Nebo, looking down at the holy land that he could not enter. Here you can view the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho, and Jerusalem. Finally, finish your day at a 5-star resort on the Dead Sea. Enjoy lunch and spa entry at the resort, and relax by the beach. After sunset, be taken back to Amman.

Great experience! The dead sea resort spa lunch was fun. It's on your own to utilize the spa services. It's a short walk to a private beach as well as pool access in addition to a buffet style lunch. This is where I spent the most time and there is more flexibility with the private tour (utilize your time to the fullest). There is a lot of culture and history in Jordanz enjoy!

  • From Amman: Full-Day Tour to Hammamat Ma’in Hot Springs

    5. From Amman: Full-Day Tour to Hammamat Ma’in Hot Springs

This full-day tour takes you to the hot springs of Hammamat Ma’in, located 58 km from Amman and 37 km from Madaba. Simply relax and enjoy the healing qualities of the mineral-rich waters. The springs originate from the winter rainfall on Jordan's highland plains. As the water makes its way through the Wadi Zarqa Ma'in valley, underground lava fissures help heat it up – temperatures range from 104 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. The water is also infused with skin-healing minerals, such as hydrogen sulfide, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. You will have the possibility to enjoy the mineral-rich hot thermal waters and relax within them. The waters are known to treat skin diseases, diseases of the circulatory system, and pains in the bones, joints, and back.

After reading other reviews we decided to go to the spa area instead and it was the great choice. We had the waterfall and the pool to ourselves. Had a great massage and used the sauna. The only reason for good service instead of excellent is the cleanliness. Sunbeds were filthy and the showers could be cleaner. Still had an amazing time. The guide/driver Steve was great! Polite, punctual and knowledgeable.

  • From Amman 5-Hour Dead Sea Experience with Lunch and Return

    6. From Amman 5-Hour Dead Sea Experience with Lunch and Return

The leading attraction at the Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier than sea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine and several others. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. All of whom have luxuriated in the Dead Sea’s rich, black, stimulating mud and floated effortlessly on their backs while soaking up the water's healthy minerals along with the gently diffused rays of the Jordanian sun.

We enjoyed our day visit to the Dead Sea. Interesting experience to float in the Dead Sea - definitely much different from any other body of water. Booking the tour where you're dropped off at a hotel along the sea is a good plan - this way you have good access to the sea, changing facilities and lunch afterwards. Would recommend this tour to others.
