We loved our tour. Mustapher, our driver, our tour guide, is great. He is prompt, knowledgeable, detail in all aspect, and good conservationist. We are a group of 3 friends+ Patrick, who we met in this tour, total 4. We had so much fun, good conversation, good information regarding Morocco, the country, different types of cultures, family etc. We get to see so much of this region, from Fez to Marrakech, different villages, towns, "cities" etc. He made different stops for us to experience the towns, and stretches. It's a lot of car time, but a lot of interesting, fantastic view. The Sahara desert is amazing, sunset, camel ride, Berber tent, dinner, camp fire and dancing. The next morning, we watch the sunrise, yummy breakfast, more camel ride, more sight seeing and learning from Mustapher, until the 2nd night in a beautiful hotel, we loved it. Great hot shower, yummy buffet dinner, great accommodation, and yummy buffet breakfast in the morning. Highlight of our trip. LoveLove
We enjoyed at maxim every moment of this beautiful trip. We started from Marrakech our trip with guide Hicham and another 8 travellers. The van is very confortable - with clima-, our guide Hicham is a good driver, we feel in safe during at the trip. Furthermore, he is a very cool personality. He likes what he is doing. We receive a lot of information about Marocco, about berber's lifestyle, traditions. He always stopped, when we want to buy something, to go on toilet, or to make pictures. A lot of panoráma on this trip, to make huge photos, show by hím. He reccomended us the restaurants to eat. Morocco is an interesting and beautiful country. We are feeling wondered in the Sáhara, at Merzouga dunes. Camel ride is the most fine thing, at sunset and át sunrise too. The berber camp is something undescriptionable. Confort of 5 stars in a tent, good food, and berber show. I think he is a famous berber singer, because he plays on diferents instruments here... Thanks for U !
Got picked up before time stated by the guide but this was not withing get your guide range. The driver was not the most pleasant, he interrupted twice when I was talking to my partner and i'd rather have him not listen in on my conversation. He had a very creepy aura about him and this made me stay quiet with my partner until I got to our destination. But that was the end of any downsides. From then onwards the guides were great and the experience as great. Met some great people and we had a brilliant time. I wished there was an option for 2 people sharing 1 quad as that is what I ended up doing but paid for two quads. Thanks to all the tour guides for their hospitality and to the man taking us there safely (although it was not the best experience).
Great experience if u are willing to spend long hours in a mini ban through very bumpy and under development roads. As the other reviews said the driver makes few stops in crappy road restaurants for quick stops or meals, which I didn't care as I didn't took this trip for fancy meals. Excursions are interesting and of course u have to tip everybody. Best experience and the main reason is to arrive to the entrance to the desert. Camel ride was fun both ways , best is the sunset and sunrise from the Dunes. Berber Camp was fun too, with a nice dinner and music, seeing the clear sky by night was quite special too. Recommended if u want to sleep at the dessert and ride camels. Beware of the 8 -9 hours in the car each way.
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Each day is broken up with regular stops either for excursions and photo opportunitues or refreshment and toilet breaks. The bus was comfy and the driver and guides very knowledgeable. There was some pressure to buy a scarf on the 1st day (can buy them for €3-5 elsewhere and later in the trip vs €10-12) but they are very polite if you decline. Great value for money and an amazing experience all round. Would recommend this over the deluxe option.
