Ulm: True Crime Walking Tour

Ulm: True Crime Walking Tour

This tour, in which real criminal cases are traced, does not go back to the Middle Ages for once, but to Ulm and Neu-Ulm in the 70s and 90s. When the Münsterplatz was still a car park, the Americans still organised the nightlife (and danced to Milli Vanilli) and the twin cities had to deal with the drug scene and the phenomenon of the skinhead scene. Within the well-chosen criminal cases, the perspective is repeatedly changed in order to immerse the reader in the time and the events as well as possible. This tour therefore goes far beyond the individual murder cases and also allows us to trace the respective time and society.

Ulm: Evening stroll through the old town

Ulm: Evening stroll through the old town

Starting at minster square, you will learn interesting background information about the construction of Ulm Minster with the highest church tower in the world (exterior tour). The tour then takes you to the neighbourhood north of Ulm Minster and on to the new Ulm city centre. Under the motto ›Medieval meets modern‹, you will see several new buildings that have been constructed in the heart of Ulm in recent years and decades. These buildings are a tribute to the unique modern architecture and form a charming contrast to the historical sights. The Ulm Town Hall awaits you in the immediate neighbourhood. The early Renaissance building not only displays what is probably Germany's largest fresco cycle of the 16th century, but also an astronomical clock with zodiac signs and moon phases. The tour continues past the leaning Butcher tower and onto the city wall. Things get really romantic in the fishermen's and tanners' quarter. With its small alleyways, bridges and footbridges, Ulm's most important old town ensemble conveys a medieval flair. Today, the once shabby craftsmen's quarter awaits you with top-restored buildings – including the Crooked House, the world's most leaning hotel according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

I can highly recommend this guided bar and club tour in Ulm! The organization was top notch and our guide was not only super friendly but also extremely well-informed about the best spots in the city. We were given a warm welcome and immediately put in the right party mood. 🎉 The selection of bars and clubs was great - from cool cocktail bars with first-class drinks to pulsating clubs with fantastic music, there was something for every taste. I particularly liked the fact that we got into the locations without having to wait and had a VIP-like reception everywhere. The atmosphere in the group was relaxed and easy-going and you quickly got to know new people. Our guide made sure that everyone got their money's worth and at the same time provided us with interesting insider tips about Ulm.

Daniela is an incredibly good storyteller. It was great that she also "took us" back to the respective time and situation in Ulm. For me, as a newcomer to Ulm, that was an added value. The cases were very interesting, I would like to hear more about them - perhaps on a Weird Crime Tour!

The texts were very informative and you also get to know a lot of nice trams. You could do the tour again and again. I immediately recommended the scavenger hunt to others

it is lovingly designed and you can take a break whenever you want without getting stressed

Everything was great and very informative, 10 points again and again
