Start the adventure at the Löwenbrunnen on Münsterplatz. First, visit the Ulm Minster, the largest Protestant church in Germany. You can climb the tower to get breathtaking views of the city. Then, pass by the preserved city wall, the still existing moat houses, and the Albert Einstein fountain. Continue your way through the Berblinger Tower and the crooked butcher's tower in the old fishing and tanning district. Then riddle yourself to the Schwörhaus and the town hall. Once you solve a riddle you will be given a number, which reveals which envelope to open next. These contain puzzles that need to be solved. Guided by clear and unambiguous directions, make your way through the inner city of Ulm. Solve the puzzles and let the clues lead you to the next destination. Each solved puzzle will yield a number that will tell you which envelope to open next. You will not know in advance what order the scavenger hunt city envelopes need to be opened. The envelopes will also contain detailed background information of each attraction, its history, its current use, and much more. Starting at minster square, you will learn interesting background information about the construction of Ulm Minster with the highest church tower in the world (exterior tour). The tour then takes you to the neighbourhood north of Ulm Minster and on to the new Ulm city centre. The tour continues past the leaning Butcher tower and onto the city wall. Things get really romantic in the fishermen's and tanners' quarter. With its small alleyways, bridges and footbridges, Ulm's most important old town ensemble conveys a medieval flair. This tour, in which real criminal cases are traced, does not go back to the Middle Ages for once, but to Ulm and Neu-Ulm in the 70s and 90s. Today the police need your help because a body has been found in the church! As a special unit, you have been tasked with finding the murderer and solving the case. You will receive further information, instructions, a photo list and a map of Ulm by e-mail in advance. You can print out the material or download it to your cell phone. The city center is divided into sections in which you have to search for specific photo locations. As you look at the most beautiful spots in the city center, you will collect more and more clues that you can use to solve the case at the end. These clues must then be combined to find out ... who is the murderer? ... who the victim is? ... what time the person was killed? ... what weapon was used? You will have a game master at your disposal for the entire duration of the game, who will pass on the clues to you and, of course, be on hand with help and advice if you have any questions.
