Kirtipur is thought to be one of the oldest settlements in the valley. It’s a prime destination to learn about the Newar people, who are one of Nepal’s many distinct ethnic groups and the original inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley. Come to Kirtipur for exquisite architecture, hilltop temples, and sweeping city views. Wandering around its winding streets feels like walking through a traditional Nepali village, yet Kirtipur also offers some of the finest views of sprawling Kathmandu and the hills and mountains beyond. It’s full of cobblestone streets, old brick houses with elaborately carved door and window frames, and multitiered pagodas. Patan is also known as Lalitpur. swyambhunath (monkey Temple) swyambhunath is located in the hillock, the northwest inside Kathmandu valley. It is also famous as Monkey temple among foreigners. It is believed that this stupa is built when the Kathmandu valley was created of a lake more than 2,000 years ago. This is one of the best places to take a panoramic views of Kathmandu valley.

Day 1: On your first day you will arrive to Kathmandu, after which you will check-in to your hotel. You will then be free to explore the town at your own leisure, before spending the night in a 3-star hotel. Day 2: Your second day will consist of sightseeing in Kathmandu. You will explore Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and the Swayambhunath monkey temple. The square, situated in the heart of the city, consists of an enchanting assortment of palace buildings, artistic courtyards, and graceful pagoda temples. Day 5: On your fifth day you will drive/fly back to Kathmandu, where you will overnight in a 3-star hotel.
