Having been there, I think the negative reviews must be about the fake companies that stand near the ticket booth and try to steal customers … absolutely no complaints about the City Sightseeing bus / boat ticket. Buses were comfortable, there was an information guide on each bus, and the prerecorded audio was clear. The double-deckers were in maintenance when we were there, but the single-deckers were comfortable. Highlight was definitely the boat trip though - fantastic addition. Only slight grizzle is that there can be a bit of a wait between changing to the red line, however the guides try to make sure that the red bus is waiting for the switch at stop 6 and we also went in off peak season so can’t expect there to be as many buses.
