  • Rating: 5 “great value, see loads, excellent full day out, staff friendly.”

Reviewed by MICHAEL from BUCH, Austria on July 18th, 2014 Well, we managed to go on all 4 tours in the single day which saw all of Vienna, but of course not much time to go into the attractions. the buses were comfortable and most had air-con. the headsets were a bit fiddly to fit and to keep in but 'one size fits all'. these were given new to each customer so no hygiene worries. One minor complaint was that some of the sets on the seat backs did not work, but you could always move seats if they were free. staff were friendly and helpful and all could speak some English. Highly recommended - Dont see Vienna without these tours !!!!!

  • Rating: 3 “Well organized”

Reviewed by Gerrit from Baarn, Netherlands on February 18th, 2014 1st. bus good quality. 2nd. bus poor quality. No baggage store possibility. This was a bus with plastic roof.. Small chairs etc.

  • Rating: 4 “Vienna on foot”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Centreville, United States on June 10th, 2013 We did a lot of sightseeings on foot since our hotel was just right across the Opera House. So much to do and see, so we took the Schonbrunn route to go outside of the city for half of the day only. We did not take the Danube and Ring routes. When we come back, we will explore the Danube route, but as of right now, we are completely happy exploring the ring area.

Reviewed by Walter from Wien, Austria on September 26th, 2012 Even as Vienna locals we found the 3 tours very interesting, and enjoyed them. They stuck right to the departure and arrival times. This was a lovely vacation day

  • Rating: 4 “Perfectly organized sightseeing tour of Vienna”

Reviewed by Heinz from Wädenswil, Switzerland on September 7th, 2012 The especially good part: you can book the tour in advance online. The tour's split up into three routes: red/blue and green. You can take any of them during the time you've got for the tours.

  • Rating: 4 “Vienna in 1 day”

Reviewed by Andreas from Paderborn, Germany on September 4th, 2012 very good service, multilingual explanations, well-chosen tours. Unfortunately the Danube (blue) and Schönbrunn (green) routes close early, at 5 pm.

  • Rating: 4 “Lots of things worth seeing on this tour- definitely recommend it”

Reviewed by Lisa on September 2nd, 2012 The various routes go to all of Vienna's important tourist hot spots. This is great for anyone who's never been to Vienna before and who'd like to see a lot of the city! And on the following day it's perfect for using public transport.

  • Rating: 5 “Great tour and good service.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from München, Germany on August 12th, 2012 This tour was great. Buses are modern and on time. Stops very nice. All in all recommended.

  • Rating: 5 “Great city tour in great buses.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from München, Germany on August 12th, 2012 This city tour is great to get to know Vienna. The ticket is valid 24 hours and can be exchanged at any station. Vouchers are recognised trouble fee. Buses are in great condition and drive regularly and are on time. Audio guides in all languages and very informative. All in all an enlingtenment and the highlight of our Vienna trip.

  • Rating: 4 “Especially worth it for a 1st overview”

Reviewed by Ulrike from München, Germany on August 12th, 2012 The routes include the most important sights, the commentaries on headphones are informative and enough. If you're a hygiene freak, you should take your own headphones or disinfection wipes.

  • Rating: 3 “Was only satisfied by and large!”

Reviewed by Christina from Sandhausen, Germany on July 29th, 2012 Poor information on location, better labeling and advice are needed! It was very annoying that the last bus at the Belvedere Castle was full and despite promises no replace bus came, and we had waited 45 minutes in the rain for it. So we had to make our way back on our own!

  • Rating: 4 “Lovely informative bus tour”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Strasshof, Austria on July 21st, 2012 The workers on the bus tour were very friendly and helpful. The bus ride was nice and comfortable. Unfortunately there's only one bus available for the ring tour, but then the other ones have air conditioning. However a very unpleasant point was that: unfortunately the recording (not just the German version) doesn't work at some points, and then you miss a part of the story! That was annoying.

  • Rating: 5 “really recommend it”

Reviewed by Rainer from Worms, Germany on June 30th, 2012 Very well-organized and good info

  • Rating: 4 “Recommended”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Werne, Germany on June 17th, 2012 Bad advice when buying, no clear instructions on how to use the day card (24 hour ticket). The tour itself is recommended, since it's very informative! It would be recommended more often if they checked the functioning of the headphones.

  • Rating: 5 “good bus tour, everything was great”

Reviewed by Karin from Aurich, Germany on June 6th, 2012 We also did another bus tour and in comparison, the Hop On Hop Off tour was considerably better. Would gladly do it again.

  • Rating: 4 “you get a concise initial overview for a great price”

  • Rating: 5 “Good and competent!!!”

Reviewed by Hans - Werner from München, Germany on September 19th, 2011 The tour of Vienna was really good and competently led.
Only shortcoming was that the bus driver's distinctly less than charming personality.

  • Rating: 3 “City tour good, 24-hrs wrongly stared. In reality: 10 hrs.: 10:00-20:00.”

Reviewed by Reinhold from Illingen, Germany on June 27th, 2011 I am missing the schedule online. Tours should be planned well in high season (july and august). Do the red line (center) last, as the last bus leaves at 5pm, 8pm during high season. Last route Schönbrunn is at 5pm and 6pm high season. The drive of Vienna at night is also not possible. The buses are new and in good condition, but some of the audio doesn't work or have been stolen - so be attentive when choosing seats. The guides' audio was loud enough and understandable for everyone - it also always matched the sights we drove by. I liked the drive in an open double decker bus, when the weather is nice. Nice air, great feeling. The drive in the closed, more crowded bus is not as much fun.

  • Rating: 5 “For Vienna newbies highly recommended.”

Reviewed by Doris from Bad Schussenried, Germany on June 26th, 2011 We did the hop off hop on tour the day after our arrival. The tour is made up out of 3 different tours, each 1 hour, and all start at the entrance of the Opera. You can get off an on the tour bus and you please. We were lucky and had nice weather, so we got an open double decker bus. The commentary was informative and plentiful, but not too much. 20 euros for 24 hours I thought was a good price. For those, who are new to a city like us are able to get an overview and with that able to go back to the sights on the same day with the hop on hop off or on the next day with public transit. I can only highly recommend this (these) tour(s).
