Pedal your way through vibrant Valencia, feeling the warm sea breeze as you visit the Turia Gardens and cycle past the old city's ancient monuments, museums, universities, and bridges. Continue into the modern architecture of the new city.

Discover Valencia's streets, squares, monuments and most important historical sites the fun way. Feel the warm sea breeze on your face as you pedal through old and new Valencia and its gardens.

Start your tour of Valencia by pedaling downhill to the unique Turia Gardens. Created in a former riverbed, Valencia's garden park stretches for 13 km (8 miles), and winds through the city. The Gardens host a variety of cultural and recreational activities throughout the year. Pedal past the Serranos Towers, a small castle which used to be the former main entrance of the medieval walled city.

Only a few steps away, you will not only encounter the Roman remains of the city, but also Plaza de la Virgen in the center of Old Valencia, as well as some of the most important historical buildings in this Spanish city.

Continue cycling through the narrow streets of the old city to reach the Palace of the Marquis Dos Aguas, the city’s finest baroque monument and home of the National Ceramics Museum. Next you'll pass the old University, the Patriarca Church and the Glorieta Gardens.

The tour continues along the former riverbed passing by the Music Hall until you reach the City of Arts & Sciences, the new landmark of Valencia, known for its futuristic white architecture designed by world-acclaimed architect Santiago Calatrava. From here you will head back to the starting point following the riverbed crossing many historic and modern bridges as well as cycling past the Fine Arts Museum.

Could be done at any time during your trip even if you already knew the sites. Wonderful tapas. We also recommend renting bikes from Valencia bikes. Very good service and reliable.

  • Rating: 5 “Outstanding”

Reviewed by Timothy from Laguna Hills, United States on July 31st, 2013 What a great way to tour the city! We enjoyed how the tour was segmented into both old and modern Valencia. Our tour guide Jose was the best and offered great insight into Valencia and displayed a great sense of humour as well. He was also kind enough to lead a small group of us back to the City Center once the bike tour was completed. He definitely went above and beyond. The tour provider and our guide were truly customer-centric.
We can't say enough about this excursion; it is definitely a must do while visiting the beautiful city of Valencia.

Reviewed by Ursi from Rehetobel, Switzerland on October 7th, 2012 Easy online booking and everything went well. Awesome experience going through Valencia by bike with a great guide, interesting information and a well-chosen route. Ideal group size (4 participants), no traffic jams and good progress. This was the best city tour that I've done so far plus it was a bit of a workout.

  • Rating: 5 “A great opportunity to get to know Valencia”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Fröndenberg, Germany on October 4th, 2012 During the somewhat offbeat city tour we learned a lot of interesting things about Valencia. Highly recommend the tour. Everything went wonderfully. Thanks to Claudia!

  • Rating: 5 “very informative and highly recommend bike tour in Valencia”

Reviewed by Heinz from Homburg, Switzerland on September 8th, 2012 We took the bike tour at 11am in German and were the only participants. Claudia put together a very good and informative tour and also catered to our requests; we spent the first 2 hours in the old city and then went to new Valencia from Calatrava. We especially recommend this tour for the beginning of your visit to the city. We rented a bike for the whole time (3 hours) and accordingly had plenty of time to explore interesting parts of the tour more deeply. In general it's very easy to get anywhere in the city by bike.

  • Rating: 5 “A Must”

Reviewed by Christy from Mission Viejo, United States on August 15th, 2012 So fun. We got into places cars/tours can't. Valencia is very bike oriented. We rented the bikes again the next day to ride on our own and get a reduced rate since we were repeat customers.

Reviewed by Katharina from Großrinderfeld, Germany on July 15th, 2012 We did the tour at 11am in German and were the only participants. The guide spoke great german and responded to our wishes. The bikes were in good condition. We had the drink in a lovely cafe near the City of Arts and Sciences. Next time we'd book the 6 hour tour with tapas. Can really recommend it!!!

Reviewed by Regula from Hilterfingen, Switzerland on October 6th, 2011 I'd recommend it to anyone, especially those with children, who don't really show much enthusiasm for traditional city tours. Valencia lends itself to this kind of tour (assuming it doesn't rain...)

  • Rating: 5 “great bike tour”

Reviewed by Eric from Hanau, Germany on September 23rd, 2011 As we were a very small group (2 people) the tour was very intimate and personable, a highlight for us. Everything was well-organised and we got a great impressions from the city. Especially the new Valencia from Calatrava was very impressive. Pretty old town centers you have almost everywhere, but the architecture was astonishing. On bike the tour was not very stressful and because of the great guide a great, unforgetable experience!

Reviewed by Sandra from Wetzikon, Switzerland on June 29th, 2011 Definitely do this tout, even if you're not an experieneced bike rider, no problem. The bikes were ok and organisation great. I recommend this tour.

  • Rating: 5 “great bike tour! Highly recommend it”

Reviewed by Uwe from Stadel, Switzerland on June 24th, 2011 Online booking was very easy. The bikes were in good condition. Our guide was very friendly and explained all the sights in deteail. We first went to a dried up river bed, then to the old city (churches, palaces, markets), and after that to the "new" Valencia (great architecture). Great value for money.

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Frankfurt, Germany on March 31st, 2014 Die Fahrradtour war super.
