It is a large Catholic parish, a strong Slovenian community and offers the best walks in the city. Take the bus tour to the Barcola which is popular all year round and locals enjoy sunbathing here in the height of the summer. Das Castello di Miramare haben wir nicht gesehen und die Reiseleitung? hatte uns auch keine richtige Auskunft geben können. Mit dem Knopf im Ohr (Audio Guide) haben wir schon einige spärliche Informationen bekommen, aber es wurde sehr viel Musik eingespielt (wollten wir eigentlich nicht hören). Trotzdem fanden wir Triest auch interressant und sehenswert.
