Gaze at the marvelous Golden Gate Bridge from across the water. Completed in 1937, the Golden Gate Bridge is known around the world as a symbol of San Francisco and California. Discover Ghirardelli Square and its many shops, restaurants, and treats. Domingo Ghirardelli purchased the entire city block for the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company in 1893 and in 1982 the square was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
From the coast, look across the water towards Alcatraz, the infamous prison that sits in San Francisco Bay used to house some of the country's most notorious criminals including Al Capone and the "Birdman of Alcatraz."
Watch the Turnaround Cable Cars in action. These cars are the only moving national historic landmark in the United States and here marks the end of the line for the Hyde Street Cable car. Explore the Aquatic Park Home, to a myriad of restored floating vessels including the Balclutha which was featured in the film Mutiny on the Bounty.

We had so much fun riding the Segways around & seeing the sights. Sarah, our guide, was very entertaining as well as knowledgable about the local history & places to eat. Well worth the price.
