“This tour was OK - a bit over priced, but interesting.”
Reviewed by Virginia from Gorham, United States on July 21st, 2014 The tour guide (Tom) was entertaining and the information he shared was interesting. However, the "witch" ceremony at the start of the tour seemed unnecessary and a bit silly to the four of us (all seniors).
“Tom was awesome!”
Reviewed by Stacey from Lancaster, United States on July 20th, 2014 Tom was awesome! Knowledgable and friendly. A great guide!!! We enjoyed our tour and hearing about modern day witches like myself - from Salems point of view!
Reviewed by Patricia from Hampden, United States on July 16th, 2014 The Salem Witch Walk was a truely amazing and informative experience for myself and my 15 year old daughter. Tom, our guide, was spectacular!! He was informative and fun. I highly recommend this to all who visit Salem.
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from New Milford, United States on July 15th, 2014 The tour was very eye-opening and education. I highly recommend it. Before going on the tour, brush up on the basics on what happened during the Salem Witch Trials.

“A witch conducted the tour = Entertaining, fun, learned”
Reviewed by GREGORY from BARRIE, Canada on July 9th, 2014 Tom was our guide. He is funny, charming, and clearly is very knowledgeable about witchcraft and Salem's history. A lot of reviews say there isn't any history provided - not true. Tom provided lots of historical information.
My family and I didn't know much at all about witchcraft and ended the tour with more understanding. To go deeper, reading/research will provide you with that. Tom performed a ritual at the beginning which was new to me. What impressed me most was he made it clear that nobody had to take part if they had religious or other issues with taking part. Very tolerant indeed. Tom was open to answering any questions.
“Awesome and Enlightening”
Reviewed by Joseph from Tekonsha, United States on July 6th, 2014 Tom did an awesome job. He was informative, energetic, enthusiastic and a real Witch! I really appreciated his genuine and sincere view of the world. His explanation of the history of his beliefs and his open and inclusive tone made everyone feel welcome. I wish him nothing but good things. So mote it be.
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Chicago, United States on July 4th, 2014 I didn't really learn anything. The guide took us by a few spots but 95% are gone and replaced by roads or other buildings. The guide also took us by 2 stores for no reason other than trying to get us to buy souvenirs. Waste of money and an hour and a half of time.
“Very informative and interesting.”
Reviewed by Allison from Greenwood, United States on July 2nd, 2014 The guide, Tom, was very entertaining and extremely knowledgable. He was able to engage everyone in our group, from pre-teens to grandparents.
“Best tour in salem!!!”
Reviewed by James from oneida, United States on July 2nd, 2014 We lived this tour. Learned a lot about Salem and we are curious about wicca and loved learning more about wicca and doing a circle ritual at the start of the tour seeking guidance from Hermes was our favorite part. Tom the guide is amazing full of energy and knowledge and soooo helpful
“Simply Outstanding! Myths & magic explained, history clarified.”
Reviewed by Lynn from Palo Alto, United States on July 2nd, 2014 Our tour guide, Sammie (truly!) was just amazing. Quite a few kids on our tour from about age 7 to 18, and Sammie knew exactly how to debunk the scary myths about witches with reality-based explanations: e.g., teaching us that what was called newt's eyes in the late 1600's is actually a plant - a kind of mustard seed. She let us know she practices the religion of Wicca, which pays homage to air, water, fire, earth and spirit -- she is indeed a delightful modern-day witch. Most importantly, she placed the historical facts from the Witch trials into their proper context, and also de-mystified the gory hangings by bringing us to pay our respects to those wrongly accused and killed, when we visited the burial grounds of the victims of the witch accusations. Both teenagers appreciated all they learned (an amazing feat in itself: if any witchcraft happened that night, that was it!) To top it off, Sam's interaction with the little kids in the tour was the best: no more room for details
“Very enjoyable and informative.”

“What better way to see Salem than with a witch!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Schuylkill Haven, United States on June 22nd, 2014 This tour was very interesting and informative. From the opening ceremony to the last moments of the tour, Tom, our guide, held my interest. He was very animated and funny. His monologue answered questions about both historical and present day witchcraft. Definitely worth the $$.
“Amazing, dope, awesome, stellar!”
Reviewed by Maria from Rochester, United States on June 16th, 2014 Tom is the number 1 your guide by a long shot. For a practicing pagan it was refreshing to see how he engages people who are not familiar with the craft. My husband does not practice Wicca so it was nice to be able to show him my ways from another's point of view. Loved how Tom explained the why and how of the ritual. The stone that he blessed and gave to each participant was a nice touch. Something I will treasure. Being a witch myself and having a token blessed by a Salem witch is a moving experience. He was truly entetaining and has a great sense of humor, which stems across all ages and cultures. His knowledge of not only the craft but the history behind Salem is expansive. Loved that we took breaks and stopped for discussion frequently. Most tours we took were constant movement. Would highly recommend this tour for those who practice the craft, those who are curious, as well as anyone looking for a real true Salem experience :)

I WAS ONE OF THREE WHO WENT UNDER RENA'S TICKETS....A FABULOUS, INFORMATIVE 90 MINUTES AND WOULDN'T HAVE MISS THIS FOR THE WORLD! TOM, OUR GUIDE, WAS AMAZING, FUNNY - AND GOOD ON THE EYES (MAY I ADD) AND I'M 71 YEARS OLD.
“THE BEST - If you go to Salem, do NOT miss out on this tour!!”
Reviewed by Rena from Pineville, United States on May 20th, 2014 I went with my Mom and her friend, as we heard great reviews on this tour. I am so glad that we were able to book this. It is a MUST DO in Salem. It was great to get a true sense of witches as it pertains to Salem. Our tour guide was not only knowledgeable, he has a talent of being a true storyteller that you can’t help but learn a lot and as an active Wicca witch he was able to share so much of what it is to truly practice, and he was gorgeous. His dark hair and those eyes will just keep you captivated. Even my 71 year old Mom fell in love!!! I cannot say enough great things about this group! They made the trip worth it!!!!
“Informative and accurate”
Reviewed by Paul from Westborough, United States on May 12th, 2014 As a newbie to Wicca, I wanted to take this tour to see how other witches talked about the subject to non-witches. I found the information that Tom presented to be consistent with my own studies and he presented the material intelligently while being respectful to other faiths. A very well thought-out and enjoyable walking tour.
“Great Experience....Real Value”
Reviewed by MICHAEL from KENNETT SQUARE, United States on May 7th, 2014 This was exactly as promised...an introduction to witchcraft and dispelling of myths and misconceptions....Tom was excellent....informative and appropriately informal....knowledgeable and well-spoken....provided great contrast between what people think of wicca and what it really is, much more than "being spooky"...especially with the initial ceremony and explanation....great blending of history...of Salem beyond just focusing on the witch trials...highly recommend this but if you only want the details of the trials themselves...try the museum and not this tour...
“Fantastic!! Thank you Tom for an unforgettable experience!!”

“Great introduction to the streets and sites of Salem!”
Reviewed by Laura from Albuquerque, United States on April 19th, 2014 This was a great way to meet Salem and learn about its rich history. It is also pretty inexpensive. The tour guide, Tom, is very knowledgeable and eager to share what he knows, which is considerable. He dispelled many of the myths and verified a few, too. The area covered during the 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours is small and easy walking. The blessing ritual that begins the tour was a treat and a good example of modern witchcraft. I'm very glad I decided on this tour!
