  • Rating: 5 “Informative & entertaining.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from New Hope, United States on September 1st, 2014 Tom was a great guide! He kept things light & interesting enough for my 7 year old. He seems like he genuinely enjoys his job & has fun sharing his knowledge with tourists.

  • Rating: 5 “A perfect evening!”

Reviewed by Brad from Kingston, Canada on September 1st, 2014 Our guide was P.J. We booked for the 5pm walk on August 29th and turned out it was just the 2 of us on the tour. P.J. did a fantastic job, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about Salem and because it was just us, he was able to expand more on the history of the Witch Trials. We would definitely recommend to all.

  • Rating: 5 “This is a MUST do!!”

Reviewed by Joy from Winchester Center, United States on August 26th, 2014 My husband and I (both in our 60s) thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We've been on ghost walks at various places but this is nothing like them. this was very educational in a fun way. Tom was soo knowledgable and put everything in perspective-what being a witch really means, witches of today vs witches of the 1600s, and what really went down at the Salem Witch trials in 1692. This was a terrific introduction to historic Salem and modern day magic.Tom was so engaging and entertaining, we didn't want the walk to end. I honestly would send ANYONE on this tour. And I'd go again in a second. A SUPER value in a tourist trap town-money well spent.

  • Rating: 2 “Not what we expected it to be”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Huntingdon, United States on August 25th, 2014 We did not see the relevance of the places we stopped at. The tour guide was also vague in most of the things he said.

  • Rating: 3 “Storytelling in a nice atmosphere”

Reviewed by Gerald from Hardenberg, Netherlands on August 17th, 2014 In historic view it is interesting to do this walk. The surrounding is OK, but my little kids didn't like it. First because it is in English (they speak only dutch), but that is normal in the USA ha,ha. Second: There is not so much to see. Just a gravejard. The kids were boring.

  • Rating: 5 “Fabulous!!! Best part of our whole trip!!”

Reviewed by Kathleen from Addison, Canada on August 15th, 2014 Tom was our tour guide and he was amazing!! My 10 year old daughter was a bit afraid of the whole "witch" atmosphere, so I thought that this tour might show her that witches are not evil or bad, and ease her mind a bit. After the first 10 minutes, she whispered to me "he's really good at his job!" We had a great time, and learned so much from Tom, who kept us informed with his knowledge and quick wit. It gave us a new understanding of modern witchcraft. We would recommend this tour to all, and plan to go again if we are ever back in salem! It is nice to go on a tour with a tour guide who enjoys his job :)

  • Rating: 4 “Unique, informative, and fun!!”

  • Rating: 5 “wonderfully fun and interesting”

Reviewed by Myrinda from San Diego, United States on August 10th, 2014 We chose this tour to counterbalance the more sensational ghost tours, etc. We had a great time participating in a ritual then learning about real events that contributed to witch hysteria and myths. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the kids were interested the whole time.

  • Rating: 5 “Unique tour, and a great time”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Tampa, United States on August 6th, 2014 Tom the witch was a lot of fun and the kids (8 and 11) had a blast. Definitely not your usual tour. Worth a try if you want something a little different.

  • Rating: 5 “So mote it be”

Reviewed by Jennifer from Washingtonville, United States on August 5th, 2014 It was very educational and provided a different part of Salem. Attended with our kids age 2 and 5 and there was nothing scary and the walk is pretty easy. Would advise touching up on the basics on what happened during the Salem Witch Trials before attending the tour and you'll get more out of it.

  • Rating: 3 “Guide with a Wiccan”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Cambridge, United States on August 4th, 2014 Hardly Magical, guide showed little understanding of wicca and unusually low amount of understanding about the history of either witch trials or Salem. However he was fun and enthusiastic which proved to somewhat disguise it.

  • Rating: 5 “Informative, fun tour!!”

Reviewed by Nelson from Guelph, Canada on July 30th, 2014 I didn't know much about the Witches of Salem, but this tour was a great introduction and I will definitely be reading more about the subject. The tour was about 90 minutes long, which flew by. Our Witch guide Tom was freakin awesome. Tom knew his craft and made the tour fun. I can't say enough great things about Tom and the tour. Check this tour out, even if your just remotely interested in the subject!! So mote it be

  • Rating: 5 “This was the best part of our trip to Salem!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Swansea, United States on July 30th, 2014 This tour was a full hour and a half and this was about an authentic Salem Witch educating us on what his craft was all about while at the same time teaching us about Salem's history. He was informative, sincere and entertaining. There was also zero attempt to sell anything at the stores other than giving us a discount that we can come back and use. Our ages were 9, 42, and 69 and we all thought it was a highlight of our trip!

  • Rating: 5 “Tom is the bomb!! Best tour in town”

  • Rating: 5 “Very informational about witches!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Seaside, United States on July 28th, 2014 This is a great walk tour! It broadens your perceptions about witches and also be enlightened about what really happened at the witch trial. Tom, the tour guide, is very dynamic and animated! He was great! I recommend this tour. Plus, you witness and partake in a non-denominational ritual in this tour! Great experience!

  • Rating: 5 “So informational and entertaining!”

  • Rating: 3 “This tour was OK - a bit over priced, but interesting.”

Reviewed by Virginia from Gorham, United States on July 21st, 2014 The tour guide (Tom) was entertaining and the information he shared was interesting. However, the "witch" ceremony at the start of the tour seemed unnecessary and a bit silly to the four of us (all seniors).
