Reviewed by Teresa from Waterlooville, United Kingdom on July 22nd, 2014 The tour was very informative and glad we did it. It was very difficult to hear the guide when we first set off around the streets as the traffic was too noisy and also in crowded areas.

  • Rating: 4 “Very well organised”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Paola, Malta on July 22nd, 2014 Definitely will recommend this tour to friends. Serena, the tour leader was very well prepared and organised. Well done.

  • Rating: 5 “Very qualified tourguide”

Reviewed by Julia from Lorsch, Germany on July 22nd, 2014 I would book this tour again, if I came back to Rome.
Our guide was very good and answered our questions as good as possible.
She was friendly and took time if we want to see something longer than planed.

  • Rating: 2 “Guide spoke Italian-English... It was hard to understand.”

Reviewed by Akshay from Stuttgart, Germany on July 21st, 2014 Our guide was always too much in a hurry. She didn't even waited to have a few clicks. Neither she explained the details nor she answered the questions enthusiastically.

Only positive: You skip the ticket line in the scorching heat.

  • Rating: 4 “A great tour for all the art lovers.”

Reviewed by Nelson from Edinburgh, United Kingdom on July 21st, 2014 This was another great day in Rome. The Vatican museums have some beautiful pieces, the Sistine chapel leaves you baffled with the genius of Michelangelo, and St. Peter's is just overwhelming. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable in arts, and didn't let us miss a single detail. Overall, very good.

  • Rating: 1 “SWIDLERS”

Reviewed by Jesús from Madrid, Spain on July 21st, 2014 BE CAREFUL with them. They are SWINDLERS!!.
Book a guided tour for the Vaticano thinking that included entries. The day of the visit I am informed that they do not include them and the price was 50% more. do not accept and inform me that without any problem writing an email would have my money.
My surprise is that after writing the email not me send money and answered me that they can not by the rules is the company.

  • Rating: 5 “Interesting guide full of expression, well worth skipping the queue!”

Reviewed by Laura from Wolverhampton, United Kingdom on July 21st, 2014 Guided by Nicola (Nicholas), who was full of expression and had really informative facts. Very considerate guide in terms of talking whilst in the shade and factoring in breaks for toilet/ water stops. Well worth the money to skip the queue. Probably the highlight of our trip to Rome!

  • Rating: 2 “Boring and inpersonal”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Thunder Bay, Canada on July 19th, 2014 No real effort was made to be interesting or engage the audience. Tour guide had so much history to draw from and picked the boring specifics of paintings instead of architectural feats or anything remotely interesting.

  • Rating: 3 “Incomplete tour.”

Reviewed by Maria Dolores from Atizapan, Mexico on July 17th, 2014 There are 14 kilometres in museums at the Vatican and the tour only shew us a very few masterpices and not the most important.

  • Rating: 4 “GREAT GUIDE but stay close - it's a jungle in there!”

Reviewed by Alice from Albuquerque, United States on July 16th, 2014 Great guide, great tour, but just before the Sistine Chapel, due to crowd, we got lost for about 15 minutes and had to tour the contemporary section before finding our group in the Basilica again.

  • Rating: 5 “Great learning experience!”

Reviewed by Mary from Slidell, United States on July 16th, 2014 Felix was our guide and he did an excellent job of showing us all about Varican City and explaining The Sistine Chapel before we went in to see it. It was enlightening and engaging! He was great!

  • Rating: 4 “Chaotic Start but Brilliant Tour”

Reviewed by Stephanie from Corte Madera, United States on July 15th, 2014 We booked this tour and we're nervous in the beginning as it was very chaotic in the office where we checked in and our tour had 28 people. We expected less on the tour. That said, we had the most incredible guide and she handled the tour brilliantly given how busy the Vatican can be. Our two girls loved the tour and stayed engaged the entire time which says a lot about our guide.

  • Rating: 4 “Most informative with a charming guide.”

Reviewed by Jane from Deniliquin, Australia on July 14th, 2014 Early start but it was needed so that we could get the started early. Learned a lot and enjoyed the tour.

  • Rating: 4 “Knowledgeable tour guide. A bit expensive.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Chevy Chase, United States on July 14th, 2014 Nice tour, but the price was a bit high, especially because there were two costs associated with the tour. One for the services and another $20 Euro to get in to the museums. Combined, the cost was about twice the amount we would need to pay and get in with a tour if we didn't use the service. Recommend shopping around for different tours before committing.

  • Rating: 4 “Good tour!”

Reviewed by Tien Ming from Singapore, Singapore on July 13th, 2014 Great tour especially in the summer season. Go straight in without having to que up, tour was good with a lot of information provided.

  • Rating: 5 “worth every penny”

Reviewed by Robert from birkenhead, United Kingdom on July 12th, 2014 skipping the lines alone was worth the price paid

  • Rating: 3 “Convenient, faster than standing in line”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Temecula, United States on July 12th, 2014 Convenient, faster than standing in line, informative. More expensive than what they advertise. I was buying as a gift for my friends - 35 euro each online, then we had to pay additional 25 euro each at the desk--they said there was fine print, which I never found, that said entrance to the venues were not included. I wouldn't have minded paying the 60 euro each ahead of time.

  • Rating: 3 “ok, not great”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Ostfildern, Germany on July 11th, 2014 Group was rather large, the guide was a bit difficult to understand and not able to answer a lot of detailed questions. Some expected highlights in the Vatican Museums were not visited but instead we spent some time in areas where you had the feeling they were 'just on the way' to the next spot to see.

  • Rating: 3 “Good”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from renfrew, United Kingdom on July 10th, 2014 Good enough tour with a good guide but felt it was very dear. You pay for your ticket then when you get there it costs you more money.

  • Rating: 4 “Long and interesting tour”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer on July 10th, 2014 Our tour guide Sara was excellent! We got to know her very well at first and always had something to say! If we had questions about something, she would answer them quickly. Only thing that didnt make me click on the last star is that few places we had a hard time hearing her because she would sometimes move to quickly and we would loose connection with her and miss a few things. This day was a monday at 13.00, at this time there was lots of people. So it wasnt always easy to follow her.
We were pretty happy we booked it anyways! Lots to see and recommend others to book the same.

  • Rating: 5 “Brilliant informative guide”

Reviewed by Lynn from West molesey, United Kingdom on July 10th, 2014 This was an excellent tour. The guide was superb and so knowledgeable. I would definitely book again.

  • Rating: 4 “Great for easy access and a good guide”

Reviewed by Jane from Guildford, United Kingdom on July 10th, 2014 The tour itself was great and definitely much quicker than waiting in a queue for hours. The tourist office was a little tricky to find so allow extra time. People are very helpful if you show them the ticket and holding it while you look wards off other tour touts if which there are many! There was a queue at the office at which point we wondered if we had swapped one queue for another but it was actually pretty quick. Our price was for the only tour and didn't include entrance fee so check this in the tour you pick. (Ours was 20 something so add 23 euro entrance fee) Still think it was well worth it- amazing to see! They are strict about the dress code in the chapel itself especially shoulders and back area so take a wrap if you're not sure. Also take water . Enjoy!

When we walked in the office to meet I was worried, looked a little cheesy by American standards. Proof that first impressions can be so wrong. Our tour guide Valentina was amazing. Great experience worth every penny.
