It was ok but had to wait too long in the heat to board

Terrible experience; poor customer service and lack of organization

We waited 45 minutes for a shuttle because of line up. I bought the tickets on line for 25 euros, only to find out I could have bought them direct for only $20 euros. When I purchased online, the confirmation email said I could show my voucher using my mobile device or a printed copied. Because of this, I didn't print a copy. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, once we got into the bus, I was told showing my proof of purchase on my mobile device was not good enough. I argued for a few minutes but got no where. The gal was rude and unapologetic. She could not explain why their internet said I could show my mobile device. I had to leave the bus and go find an internet café. The other big issue is that the bus stops so far away from the attraction! When we stopped at The Spanish Steps a group of us got off the bus and had absolutely no idea which direction to even start walking. And expect a long line up at each point to jump on. Pure chaos and people shoving and buddy.

An unnecessary booking for Rome

I paid for a 3 day ticket thinking it would help us with a quick overview of Rome, and also help us get around if we were tired. We went to pick the bus up from the Trevi Fountain and had to wait for 10 mins, only to find it was so busy when it arrived we had to wait for another, then there was only downstairs seating left. The next stop we managed to go up the top, but then the following stop the bus was parked up for 15 mins, so the actual tour was a lot of stop/starting and we never used it again. I am not mega fit, but I found everything in Rome within easy walking distance, so by the time we had waited for a bus, would have walked there. I would rather have saved the money and used a taxi, which was so easy to find, if I really couldn't walk to the next location.
