  • Rating: 5 “Great value for money. Perfect way to get quick overview of the city.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Fairhope, United States on October 14th, 2013 Terrific method to "get oriented" to any destination. If it is available, we use the "on-off bus" service in every location we visit. The Rome offering was clean, safe, punctual and covered all the desirable points-of-interest. Their "freebie" map was the most readable and useful of all those we were carrying; used it for the entire holiday. Thanks for the offering.

  • Rating: 2 “Over all, Average”

Reviewed by Brian from BOGNOR REGIS, United Kingdom on September 30th, 2013 Poor info regarding collection of tickets. Over crowded buses. Poor route info prior to and on boarding (i.e. change of routes). Poor commentary sync re description and location of buildings.

  • Rating: 3 “Did the job but not enough buses for the numbers of passengers booked.”

Reviewed by Alan from Birmingham, United Kingdom on August 27th, 2013 Did the job but be prepared to struggle during busy periods eg between 0900 and 1900 hrs. as there did not seem to be enough buses for the numbers of passengers booked. Similarly the frequency of buses was not as good as others providing the same type of service. A major problem was also experienced with the weekend service in as much as the map showing route of Line A was OK for weekday service but the instructions for passengers re route changes and bus stops was very poor, resulting in a lot more walking to get the bus at the next stop.

  • Rating: 4 “Quite the experience”

Reviewed by Fausto from Burlington, Canada on August 23rd, 2013 I find this tour well organized but some of the equipment is showing its age ,the ear pieces seam to be fine but as soon we insert them there is a lot of play and most annoying is the noise that comes out them ,it's like a radio station not well tuned.

  • Rating: 5 “Best way to see Rome in a day!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Stirling, United Kingdom on August 22nd, 2013 This was ideal for seeing Rome in a day (well more like a few hours!). Very glad I booked it.

  • Rating: 4 “Wow”

Reviewed by Angela from Surbiton, United Kingdom on August 16th, 2013 Just returned from Rome and this 3 day ticket was great. Our only concern was the frequency of the bus tours - other operators seemed to have more buses arriving at stops whilst waiting for this one. May choose a different operator on our return just for this.

  • Rating: 5 “Don't miss it”

Reviewed by Marion from Dumbarton, United Kingdom on August 7th, 2013 We booked the two day ticket. The first time we went the whole circuit, and then used it to hop on and off to go to the sites. Definately glad we got the two day, as we did not have to use any other transport to get around. The commentary on the bus, through individual earphone, was very good, and we certainly made good use of our two day ticket.

    Excellent value

Reviewed by Edwin from Cardiff, United Kingdom on May 26th, 2013 Not as orgaised as orther city's when we have used this company organised quenues at bus stops not allowing people off bus before allowing passengers on always semed to be waiting for buses longer than stated we understand the traffic problems but when buses came you could not get on and had to wait again for another bus so ended up walking as it was quicker so could not have full value out of tickets however I would use this company again in orther city's I visited as service was far more organised

  • Rating: 4 “A very interesting tour for getting an overview of Rome”

Reviewed by Hans-Joachim from Berlin, Germany on May 17th, 2013 A very interesting tour. Unfortunately on that day there were roadblocks around the Vatican, so the bus couldn't get to the station it was supposed to get to- and there wasn't any information provided on where the bus would be departing from. It was good that we didn't have a fixed departure time. After about 30 minutes of hectically looking we finally started our tour. All in all really worth seeing.

  • Rating: 4 “Everything was ok”

Reviewed by Claudia from Hamminkeln, Germany on May 15th, 2013 Trip was ok, everything was perfect

  • Rating: 3 “The tour is good, informative”

Reviewed by Barbara from Schwarzenburg, Germany on May 15th, 2013 The tour is nice and informative, however the overall concept and the staff are totally overwhelmed when it rains, and poorly organized. Unfortunately during my stay it rained the whole time and that meant that long lines, which were unpleasant to stand in while it rained. After receiving complaints from the guests the available covered seats were exchanged for standing seats. I'd recommend that they offer a different price point for when the weather's bad, and also to offer buses with covered decks.

  • Rating: 5 “Everything went well”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Maria Enzersdorf, Austria on May 14th, 2013 Saw all of the most important sights- very well-described

  • Rating: 3 “was all right”

Reviewed by Elisabeth from Lehrte, Germany on May 13th, 2013 Some of the stops were marked in fine print and were therefore hard to find. Sometimes the descriptions over the headphones in the bus didn't make it clear which building or street was being discussed.

  • Rating: 5 “Everything was great...easy to find and punctual...”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Nastätten, Germany on May 12th, 2013 It's very easy to find the bus and it goes to all of the stations...really recommend it

  • Rating: 3 “good tour, annoying repetitive music”

Reviewed by Wolfgang from Engerwitzdorf, Austria on May 12th, 2013 we got on at the beginning of the tour, didn't get off at any point, since there were more people who wanted to get on at each station than who wanted to get off. it's ok to do the whole tour at once, but the annoying music (always the same 3 tunes) between the commentary is way too loud and too annoying

  • Rating: 3 “relatively little information, with long pauses throughout”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Mautern, Austria on May 10th, 2013 Since the whole thing is pre-recorded anyway, it would be easy to improve the quality of the recording, at the least. Music repeats itself two or three times each time you go around. Information's only provided for some of the buildings, so there isn't any general overview or further basic information about the city.

  • Rating: 5 “The tour route was extremely well-chosen!”
