  • Rating: 5 “This fantastic tour provides plenty of drink and history.”

Validated review by a GetYourGuide Customer – Silver Spring, United States on August 12, 2015 One of the best brewery tours we ever attended. Instead of a tour of the machinery, we sat down and got right to the beer. We toured Iceland's fascinating history with beer while sitting a drinking 4 to 5 drinks and two shots. Our guide, Sylvia was phenomenal and entertaining. And the tastings were not tastings but whole drafts in many cases. This might have ruined brewery tours for us.

  • Rating: 4 “Brewery Tour”

Validated review by Paul – Taunton, United Kingdom on January 19, 2015 Our thanks go to Sylvia and Olaf who provided a very animated and interesting history of brewing in Iceland, they were very passionate in their roles and ensured that the drinks flowed freely. Our group was 36 strong, so try to opt for a smaller group if you can.

  • Rating: 2 “Not worth it”

Validated review by Gustavo – São Paulo, Iceland on January 7, 2015 Not that much beer. No visit inside the facility. Total waste of money.

  • Rating: 5 “FUN!”

Validated review by Tamara – Houston, United States on July 14, 2014 a wonderful and (VERY!) entertaining event with interesting drinks to sample. A really fun review of thei history of alcohol and its re-introcuction into Iceland....legally that is.

  • Rating: 5 “An awesome start to a great night out!”

Validated review by Greg – London, United Kingdom on February 24, 2014 First things first, you won't leave feeling thirsty. There is a cold beer waiting for you upon arrival and you are offered several more while learning some Icelandic history, beer facts, and even some language pronunciation along the way. Our host Oak was brilliant, very funny and informative. The only downside is that there isn't much to the actual brewery tour so the walk was short, but it was cool to have a peek at the microbrewery that lives inside, which we even got to sample beer from and was the highlight. All in all surprisingly good and we were sad to leave by the end. Cheers!
