Our ProSEAL is awarded to Guides with an official certification or license.
Guides who have acquired a special qualification in a certain field may upload their official guide certificate or license indicating their special expertise. This can apply to certified mountain guides, government-recognized tour guides, professional diving instructors and many others. All users can view this certificate or license on the Guide's profile.
At GetYourGuide we keep an eye on everything that happens on the website. We continuosly try to implement new features to ensure greater safety and quality of tours for Travelers.
We also strongly rely on our users to report abuses or inappropriate tours. Users that spot inappropriate or illegal content may report abuses by labelling tours or user profiles with a red flag. Tours or Guides that are flagged will receive immediate attention.
In case of confirmed abuse or a violation of our rules and policies, we reserve the right to end tour listings, limit account privileges, suspend user accounts or refer users to law enforcement in the most severe cases.
