  • Rating: 5 “Truly a highlight of a wonderful trip to Prague.”

Reviewed by Eric from Fernandina Beach, United States on May 30th, 2014 Tour guide 'Brett' was a history major at Charles University and his knowledge of the communist period in Prague and CZ was extensive and shared fluidly and interestingly. Starting with a walking tour new Old Town Square we learned of the heros of rebellion against communism and the powerful leaders during the period from post WW I throu to formation of Czech Republic. A short metro ride and walk took us to the bunker where we learned more as we descended to see exhibits and feel what it might have been like to use the bunker - which, in fact, is still operational and maintained weekly 'just in case'. Highly recommended for your next trip to Prague!

  • Rating: 5 “interesting, educative tour”

Reviewed by John from Groningen, Netherlands on May 9th, 2013 Really like it to learn more about communism, good relaxed guidance and the visit to the bunker was a a good addition to the tour! Tip:it might be nice to combine this with a visit to the TV tower which is in the same area.

  • Rating: 5 “Very knowledgable guide - Ivan”

Reviewed by Eduard from Chicago, United States on December 24th, 2012 We booked this tour couple of hours before it started - the booking process via my phone via tripadvisor was flawless. We had a little bit of trouble of finding a meeting place, mostly because we couldn't see directions well on my phone. Even though tour already started when we finally got there, very helpful employee walked us until we caught the tour, so it was very nice of them.
Other than that we really enjoyed this tour, found out a lot of interesting things.

  • Rating: 5 “Selbst erlebte Zeitgeschichte - von der anderen Seite betrachtet. Top”

Reviewed by Dieter from Wien, Austria on October 11th, 2014 Unser ausgezeichneter Guide Honza hat uns die kommunistische Paranoia und Propaganda sehr eindrucksvoll vor Augen geführt. Absolut sehenswerte Tour. Gute Ausstellung im Bunker.
