Starring in countless true tales of adventurers, inventors, conmen, and national heroes, few monuments are as instantly recognizable as the Eiffel Tower. This small-group tour introduces you to the glamorous Rive Droit, the Seine's Right Bank, then whisks you up the Eiffel Tower with Skip-the-Line priority and an expert guide.

Initially slated to stand for only 20 years, the soaring iron structure built for the Great Exhibition won a place in Parisians' hearts and has endured on the Paris skyline for more than a century. Set amongst glorious boulevards and the curving river Seine, the Tower's surroundings offer beautifully framed views of Paris' most famous landmark.

Accompanied by your guide, you'll explore the parks, palaces, and monuments. Start with your small group at the steps of the Church of the Madeleine, then it's off to see the Grand and Petit Palais, stroll the Champs Élysées, and take in views from the Trocadéro as you learn the Eiffel Tower's historical and urban context.

End the West Paris experience by heading to the front of the line at the Eiffel Tower and gazing out over the City of Lights.

What's Included:

• Ticket to the Eiffel Tower (Skip the Line)
• Guided walking tour
• Second Floor Access (subject to weather conditions, decision made by the Eiffel Tower managers). Top floor tickets available for purchase at the second floor of the Eiffel Tower for an estimated value of €5.50

What's Not Included:

• Entrance to monuments and sights (monuments are not entered on this tour except from the Eiffel Tower)

Good to Know:

The independent guides with whom we work have your best interests in mind. While the tour usually includes the sites and stories below and lasts on average 3 hours, your tour may vary depending on what your guide thinks is best for your group.

We will not be held responsible for any closures made by the Eiffel Tower company for accessing the Eiffel Tower or the top floor (Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel).

In order to keep time on the tour and maintain the flow of information, the group does not enter any specific museums or other sites. Thus, the price of this tour does not include entrance into any sites.

  • Rating: 5 “Enjoyable experience”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Edison, United States on May 14th, 2013 My daughter and I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Billy was great. He was very personable and shared interesting tidbits about the sites we saw. Bypassing the line at the Eiffel Tower made the tour worth the price. I would definitely recommend to others.

  • Rating: 5 “Our guide was Alexandre, and he was knowledgable, flexible, and fun.”

Reviewed by Sally from Plymouth, United States on May 12th, 2013 Alex knew all the major sites and history, as well as some more obscure things. He showed us how to use the metro, and found many good vantage points to take pictures. He also gave us directions and suggestions on things to do during our trip.

  • Rating: 5 “Excellent”

Reviewed by Mary from Bethesda, United States on May 5th, 2013 We thought our guide, Alexander, was superb. He know a lot of history and had a great sense of humor. It was a highlight of our visit to Paris

  • Rating: 4 “Not what w were expecting but very enjoyable and informative”

Reviewed by Rose from London, United Kingdom on April 17th, 2013 Myself and my friend who attended the tour were very impressed with the professionalism of the guide (Alan) as well as his knowledge which was interspersed with humour. We certainly learnt a lot more about Paris and I have been going to Paris for over twenty years. My only comment was that we walked at a snails pace which I appreciate is required when you have a mixed group.

  • Rating: 5 “so much learning, so charmingly presented!”

  • Rating: 5 “Amazing tour with a great guide in Alexander!!!!!!!”

Reviewed by david from zug, Switzerland on April 2nd, 2013 We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, just long enough but a good walk and loads of information from a very friendly Alexander. We love the detail that he had in his head and learnt so much. A pleasure to say the least.

  • Rating: 4 “Ticket's worth it- don't recommend the tour”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Hügelsheim, Germany on April 1st, 2013 The ticket's really worth it, especially when you get to the Eiffel tower and see how long the line to get a ticket is there. We got taken right through the security check and were able to get on the elevator straight away. The walk from the Madeleine church to the Eiffel tower was very nice, however it could have been left out! Our guide, Swiss Nicole, knew how to keep us entertained with stories; however I didn't like that she chewed gum throughout and seemed happier to speak with other Swiss people taking part in the tour than she was to speak with everyone else. So I'd award 4 Stars for the ticket without having to wait in line. I took off a star for the guide–I would have taken off more but this thing will only let me deduct one star!

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on March 18th, 2013 This tour is just great! Our guide Daniel really knew his way around and explained everything with the perfect amount of humor. Unfortunately throughout the tour he was on his phone, so while we were on the go it was a bit difficult to ask him questions...But the tour itself was one of the highlights of our time in Paris!

  • Rating: 4 “Tour was very good, but also really expensive”

Reviewed by Harald from Renningen, Germany on March 3rd, 2013 We were at the meeting point right on time and at first looked for the guide in vain. Warning: the meeting point isn't (as described) at the foot of the stairs, but rather outside of the fence, off to the side, and not visible from the steps. On this day the two of us were the only participants. So it was a very individualized tour. Lots of time to ask questions. Our guide Nicole provided a very good impression of Paris. The time flew by. And nobody could do anything about the weather (2 degrees Celsius, drafty, cloudy).

  • Rating: 5 “Everything was great”

Reviewed by Carmela from Pforzheim, Germany on February 25th, 2013 Nice guide, very informative, I'd definitely book it again

  • Rating: 5 “Guide Alexandre was excellent, friendly & knowledgable. Fantastic Day”

Reviewed by Lynette from Coventry, United Kingdom on February 23rd, 2013 It was Alexandre's first tour, he was fantastic, if he carry's out all his tours the same way then he will do a great job. He was friendly and accommdating to all the group he would stop frequently and explain the different buildings and give you the history about each location. He gave us just the right amount of information and didn't ramble on. He was able to answer all our questions relating to a varity of different aspects about Paris. For us this was the best day in Paris and this was mainly down to Alexandre.

  • Rating: 4 “the tickets to the Eiffel tower alone make the booking worth it”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Köln, Germany on February 21st, 2013 We had Nicole as our guide and the info she provided us with was very informative. The tickets alone make the booking worth it.

  • Rating: 4 “Very good tour with a nice and laid-back guide.”

Reviewed by Markus from Weimar, Germany on February 20th, 2013 The tour was very interesting and worth knowing. Our guide was very laid-back and companionable and had a lot of little anecdotes and stories about each station. Really recommend it, you also don't have to wait in line to get to the Eiffel tower!

  • Rating: 5 “Really great tour. Nicole was amazing, lots of anecdotes and knowledge and good sense of humor”

Reviewed by Stefanie from Berlin, Germany on February 18th, 2013 Nicole led us up to the Eiffel tower. She knows a great deal of history, which she conveyed in a charming and entertaining way. She knew lots of anecdotes, which she used as appropriate, without overdoing it. The tour is physically demanding (2 and half hours of brisk marching), but really worth it. At the Eiffel tower you get to go through a special entrance without having to wait, straight to the elevator. The meeting point was easy to find; overall, very well-organized. Really recommend it.

  • Rating: 5 “Fantastic informative entertaining and a joy.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Mirfield, United Kingdom on February 17th, 2013 Our tour guide was called Billy and he was absolutely fantastic. He absolutely knew his stuff and we found out some very interesting facts about Paris. We liked it so much we booked a different tour with him the next day. We saw quite a lot of Paris without the tour lasting too long and not once were we bored or wanting it to end. It was a great tour for first time Paris goers like ourselves especially as it took us round most things then we decided what we wanted to see in more detail at our own leisure. I would highly recommend this tour, especially our tour guide (Scottish Billy). We hope to visit Paris again and when we do we will be sure to book another tour.

  • Rating: 4 “very good, interesting tour with nicole”

Reviewed by naim from aspach, Germany on February 12th, 2013 was good but the weather wasn't great. They should have cut the tour short. The tickets were only valid for the 2nd floor, we were very disappointed. But the tour was good

Reviewed by Anja from mönchengladbach, Germany on February 11th, 2013 Nicole was a great guide for visitors both big and small, wonderful walk with worthwhile and also funny information about Paris' sights.
