Initially slated to stand for only 20 years, the soaring iron structure built for the Great Exhibition won a place in Parisians' hearts and has endured on the Paris skyline for more than a century. Set amongst glorious boulevards and the curving river Seine, the Tower's surroundings offer beautifully framed views of Paris' most famous landmark.
Accompanied by your guide, you'll explore the parks, palaces, and monuments. Start with your small group at the steps of the Church of the Madeleine, then it's off to see the Grand and Petit Palais, stroll the Champs Élysées, and take in views from the Trocadéro as you learn the Eiffel Tower's historical and urban context.
End the West Paris experience by heading to the front of the line at the Eiffel Tower and gazing out over the City of Lights.

“The guide was very knowledgeable but a lot of unnecessary walking.”
Reviewed by Bud from Pompano Beach, United States on October 28th, 2013 Would have been better if we were able to ride to the top.

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Baden, Austria on September 4th, 2013 Our guide Nancy was just fantastic, she was very nice and the tour was really very interesting. We had the luck that we were a very small group.

“Excellent. Alexander truly was great”
Reviewed by Alan from Perth, Australia on July 22nd, 2013 Travelling from Australia with limited time in Paris we bit the bullet and went for the tour with skip the line benefits. We were lucky in that the group was small (just one other Australian family) and our guide Alexander was excellent. His English speaking skills were quite exceptional and his love for his city and detailed knowledge of the places, their history made ita very enjoyable experience despite the hot day. It was a fair amount of walking, but at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops. This was definitely one of our highlights and would recommend doing early in a trip to Paris as it helped set up our bearings and the historical background was useful when visiting other places.
“Billy was AWESOME”
Reviewed by KP from Milwaukee, United States on June 25th, 2013 This is the second time that I used your company and I can say that I was not disappointed. You all delivered and made my tour guests feel at home and comfortable in Paris. Billy was knowledgeable and personable and made it so much fun. I will book again as I bring groups to Paris frequently. I am also happy to know that you provide tours in other cities as well around the World.
“Worth the money...... Great”
Reviewed by Jenny from San Jose, United States on June 13th, 2013 WAY too long for a walking tour.
“Nice tour with lots of new and interesting things”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berndorf, Austria on June 2nd, 2013 Since this tour is a walking one it included lots of interesting things, not only buildings but also the traffic, people, and much more. There were a ton of people at the Eiffel Tower but we got preferred entry, we got in after about 30 minutes
“Was ok, but overpriced.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Oberhausen, Germany on June 1st, 2013 Our guide Nicole did a good job explaining everything. We learned new things throughout. But it's not that fun to go through Paris with 20 people. I wouldn't do it again. The entry fee for the Eiffel Tower is quite low compared to the overall price of the tour. I thought this tour wasn't worth the money, even though I can't complain about our guide Nicole. It would have been nice if it had cost half as much.
“Great informative tour”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Karlsruhe, Germany on May 31st, 2013 Well-organized, great tour with lots of info!
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Blaubeuren, Germany on May 31st, 2013 Thanks very much to Nicole, who was so friendly and did such a professional job of leading us through Paris.
“Informative and helpful”
Reviewed by Stefan from Gemeinlebarn, Austria on May 28th, 2013 Well-led tour with lots of information about the sights.
“Nice but not well-grounded”
Reviewed by Martin from Tettnang, Germany on May 27th, 2013 We got a stand-in. Even though it was just the two of us the nice young man who led us on the long routes hardly provided any information. He only described 5-6 of the stops. However the things we learned were really touristy and not historically grounded. What was nice was that we got to skip past the line at the Eiffel Tower. All in all this was satisfactory.
“Lovely, informative tour!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Aichwald, Germany on May 25th, 2013 The 3.5 hour tour was very informative and enriched with lots of useful information about historical and modern Paris. Our guide Nicole paid attention to all of the participants and their questions. We primarily booked the tour because of the preferential entry to the Eiffel Tower, but we were also really happy with the great deal of information that we wouldn't have gotten from any other guide. The only bad thing was that you couldn't book a ride to the very top of the Eiffel Tower at the same time.
Reviewed by Svetlana from Wolfsburg, Germany on May 20th, 2013 I booked this tour for the preferred entry to the Eiffel tower. But the whole tour of the inner city was just great, it included lots of interesting stories. Nicole did a great job.
Reviewed by Ian from leeds, United Kingdom on May 19th, 2013 everything was just rite the weather the guide and i learn a lot about paris aswell i just like to say thankyou again to the lad who took us around iam so sorry i forgot his name!
“3-hour walk to the Eiffel tower with a professional guide”
Reviewed by Elke from Hamburg, Germany on May 15th, 2013 Nicole was really the best. She explained so many things. And she also represented German/French relations really well, and made us want to learn more. Since we booked lots of combos with Get you Guide we also got great service from other colleagues. We'd love to go to Paris again anytime. A tip: if you're offering a Moulin Rouge trip next time we'd eat in the Eiffel tower beforehand. For us that's an extra highlight.
“Very informative, interesting and lively tour!!!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Sankt Peter in der Au, Austria on May 14th, 2013 We booked this tour for the beginning of our 6-day trip to Paris, and we were very excited. Our guide Nicole put together a very varied and entertaining tour full of interesting anecdotes and background information. She also answered our special questions and didn't hold back on secret tips. SUMMARY: really recommend it, worth every penny!!
“Excellent! Nicole is just great!!”
Reviewed by Angelika from Peuerbach, Austria on May 14th, 2013 We spent a highly informative, exciting afternoon with Nicole and next time we're in Paris we'll definitely book with Nicole again! It just annoyed us that we weren't able to take the tour on the day we arrived in Paris. That would have made our short trip even more successful.
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Edison, United States on May 14th, 2013 My daughter and I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Billy was great. He was very personable and shared interesting tidbits about the sites we saw. Bypassing the line at the Eiffel Tower made the tour worth the price. I would definitely recommend to others.
“Great guide. Would go again anytime.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Heitersheim, Germany on May 13th, 2013 Really nice guide who answered all questions.
“Our guide was Alexandre, and he was knowledgable, flexible, and fun.”
Reviewed by Sally from Plymouth, United States on May 12th, 2013 Alex knew all the major sites and history, as well as some more obscure things. He showed us how to use the metro, and found many good vantage points to take pictures. He also gave us directions and suggestions on things to do during our trip.
Reviewed by Mary from Bethesda, United States on May 5th, 2013 We thought our guide, Alexander, was superb. He know a lot of history and had a great sense of humor. It was a highlight of our visit to Paris
“Really recommend it, you learn lots of interesting details.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Leipzig, Germany on May 5th, 2013 Everything was as promised. Our tour guide (Nicole) was there at the right place and time. Our group was small, that made the tour more personalized and we had enough time to ask questions and to look around. At the end we went to the Eiffel tower with our tickets in hand, didn't have to wait in line and we got to spend as much time up there as we wanted! Watch out though! Before taking the tour make sure you use the bathroom. In places like this in Paris it's really hard to find the bathroom and once you finally do find it there's always a long line, just like at the sights themselves!
“Very informative tour for beginning to get to know Paris.”
Reviewed by Holger from Ludwigsburg, Germany on May 1st, 2013 Very informative tour for beginning to get to know Paris, with tips for exploring further on your own.
“The tour was interesting, extremely informative yet laidback.”
Reviewed by Peter from Oberuzwil, Switzerland on April 29th, 2013 Over a short period of time we gained good insight into the construction, organization and history of the city of Paris. This was thanks to our guide, who was an expert on the subject, had great social skills and a structured way of doing things. This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations, and we'd recommend it for anyone visiting Paris.
