“NO waiting in line is an exaggeration”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Aachen, Germany on May 22nd, 2013 It goes fast at the meeting point, they stick your bus number to your jacket and that's it. The bus comes and everyone rushes onto it in order to fight for a good seat on the top. This was a fail in terms of organization when we boarded the buses. It's pointless for families to fight each other for spots since everyone has to get on at the same time. It's ok, but you don't realize that until you're already on the bus. As described in the schedule, we began with the sightseeing tour. The tour itself, with the new headphones, was good. We saw a lot, and the German audio commentary was fine and suitable. Then we were let off at the Eiffel tower and a tour guide (who only spoke English) led us to the entry and then left us right afterwards. We had expected to be able to go on the elevator WITHOUT having to wait in line at all. After 'not' waiting in line for half an hour in the rain we got to go on the elevator. Advantage: that's where the tour ended, and we could stay up on the tower as l
“good route, good German commentary”
Reviewed by Wilfried from Köln, Germany on May 16th, 2013 My brother and I were amazed by the driver's nerves of steel. We reached all the stops right on time- not too early or too late- so they matched up clearly with the commentary. We had enough time to calmly observe and take pictures of all the sights.
“Perfectly organized. Uncomplicated and professional.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wil, Switzerland on May 15th, 2013 As described in the offer. Tour of Paris including a visit to the Eiffel tower (without having to wait in line!!) :) Would love to go again!
“We felt like VIPs when we got to go past the line”
Reviewed by Astrid from Pinneberg, Germany on May 9th, 2013 We thought the bus tour was good, the ride to the Eiffel tower was very good!
“Nice tour, covers lots of different attractions”
Reviewed by Klaus from Hamburg, Germany on May 8th, 2013 Four of us took part on the tour. The bus (a closed double-decker) was all right, even though the air inside of it wasn't the freshest after the 2-hour ride. But that's almost impossible to avoid when you're riding on a fairly crowded bus in rainy weather. The tour itself was excellent, illuminating commentary in carious languages so that everyone could orient themselves and understand the explanations of the sights we visited. And they covered a lot of different things in a short period of time. It was a bit tough at the Eiffel tower because we had to stick to a fixed ascension time. We saved ourselves from having to wait in the line for spontaneous visitors, but we had to wait 45 minutes until it was time for our ascension. By that point the guides had already left. All in all this was a good tour, with some limitations—I had fun, and I'd recommend it.
“Quick overview of Paris”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Velpke, Germany on May 4th, 2013 Unfortunately we still had to exchange our prepaid ticket for a valid one- we had to wait in line to do that. However we didn't have to do that at the Eiffel tower.
“Really well-organized. Everything went great.”
Reviewed by Olaf from Mahlow, Germany on May 3rd, 2013 The tour was offered in multiple languages. For me that's an absolute MUST!!!
“Good service. Fulfilled our expectations”
Reviewed by Peter from Wädenswil, Switzerland on May 1st, 2013 We got a good tour of the 'old' city, listening to descriptions over headphones on a comfortable bus. Cité, Opéra, Panthéon, Champs-Elysées through to the Arc de Triomphe and then the Eiffel Tower at the end. We didn't have any problem going up it. We didn't have to wait in line. Up to the 2nd floor. Sacre- Cœr and la Défense weren't included in the tour.
“Definitely better than having to wait long in line, but we still did have to wait for 35 minutes”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Rapperswil, Switzerland on April 29th, 2013 Ok, the bus was on time, comfortable, good descriptions via the headphones, but we still had to wait for 35 minutes for the elevator at the Eiffel Tower. So it's not really true to say that you don't have to wait in line.
“Unfortunately this was a real challenge”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Chemnitz, Germany on April 19th, 2013 The bus tour turned into a challenge! The air conditioning wasn't working! Unfortunately it was a really lovely spring day! The route and the descriptions were ok! The Eiffel tower made up for everything! You could go up to the top really quickly!
“Unfortunately this wasn't fairly priced.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Burgdorf, Switzerland on April 18th, 2013 Imprecise information regarding the starting point for the tour as well as the bus number. Poor coordination and information upon boarding (had to wait a long time, push past other participants).
“Thanks, would love to go again.”
Reviewed by Klaus from Gütersloh, Germany on April 13th, 2013 This was a good tour, the bus tour dragged on a bit due to the heavy traffic! I especially enjoyed the fact that there was an extra channel for kids on the bus. That way they made the sight descriptions child-appropriate (not too dry)! The point of contact they'd promised wasn't there, but it's easy to figure out everything in English. Of course it was great not to have to wait in line at the Eiffel Tower!
“It was fine”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Kraubath/Mur, Austria on April 8th, 2013 We sat on the bottom part of the bus, since we'd initially gone to the wrong meeting point (we'd been misinformed). Of course the view isn't that great from the bottom. Everything went great at the Eiffel Tower, and we'd really recommend booking a ticket in advance since the lines to get in were huge!
“Great tour, very informative, worthwhile”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Stuttgart, Germany on April 7th, 2013 We really enjoyed the city tour, and got to know new parts of the city. The descriptions on the audio guide were good.
“We were very satisfied, everything went great and everything was on time.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Kiel, Germany on April 5th, 2013 We were very satisfied, especially since that week we weren't able to book any other tickets for the Eiffel Tower online. So right at the beginning of our trip we got an overview of Paris and we checked the most important thing, the Eiffel Tower, off our list. Yay :)
Reviewed by Michael from Hamburg, Germany on April 4th, 2013 The only thing is that on the ticket I printed out there's an address where you're actually NOT supposed to go. That was a bit confusing. Best, Mr. Wedler
“There was a bus tour, but little guidance on the Eiffel tower itself”
Reviewed by Renate from Brussels, Belgium on April 3rd, 2013 I expected more explanations and guidance on the tower itself, but we got a bus tour which was nice and not a lot of information at the tour
“Everything went great”
Reviewed by Andrea from Memmingen, Germany on April 2nd, 2013 I'd really recommend it for getting an initial impression of Paris, and at the end you get to go to the Eiffel Tower without having to wait in line- no questions asked. Really well organized.
“Apart from the long lines at the Eiffel Tower, this was really great!!!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wiefelstede, Germany on April 2nd, 2013 It's a bit more expensive than the 'normal' booking, but it's practical. There might not be a discount for people with disabilities and their helpers, whereas there is a discount for them with the normal booking. Maybe you should introduce an earlier bus boarding time, so that you don't get shoved into the line...
“The tour was a bust, the Eiffel Tower was great!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Schlieren, Switzerland on April 2nd, 2013 The tour in the car was boring, and half of the people on the bus dozed off. They barely provided any information and the music they played between bits made people even more likely to doze off. The Eiffel Tower visit went quickly, since we didn't have to wait long (10 minutes, since the bus got there too early). The guide waited by the bus (unfortunately he only spoke English, even though we'd booked the 'German' option), but that wasn't bad. Since after all he was in charge of making sure that we'd get into the Eiffel Tower from the bus. Then he left. Everyone could stay in the Eiffel Tower as long as they wanted. A tip: take the elevator to the 2nd floor and then take the stairs on the way down. You get a great view, and some insight into the Eiffel Tower's construction ;) Have fun! This was a bit overpriced. You can book the tour for less directly with the provider, and as mentioned the bus tour isn't really great.

“Tour in a comfortable bus with a small amount of information, quick entry to the Eiffel tower.”
Reviewed by Sabine from Wien, Austria on March 28th, 2013 The info message listed the wrong address for the agency, so we ended up getting there almost too late. We would have loved to have learned more about the sights that we saw from the bus. The agreed-upon guide that would have led us to the second floor of the Eiffel tower was nowhere to be seen. The bus was comfortable, the audio guide worked for the most part (the connection was loose!), and at the Eiffel tower we got to skip past the long lines. Unfortunately the information about the pricing was incorrect. It costs the same amount for children as it does for adults: 5.50 Euro. When you don't mind sitting in a bus for an hour and a half and if you'd like to gain an initial impression of the city, then I'd definitely recommend this tour. Whoever already knows Paris a bit (like we did) won't learn much new stuff. Then again getting to go into the Eiffel tower without having to wait in line makes it worth it.
“The descriptions were well-timed and easy to understand.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Allendorf, Germany on March 27th, 2013 Would love to go again.
“Informative for getting an initial overview”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wiesbaden, Germany on March 27th, 2013 Whoever hasn't been to Paris before and wants to get to the Eiffel Tower without having to stress about it should get this All around worry-free package deal. But watch out: make sure you're at the bus stop early enough to get a seat on the upper deck!!!
“Tour was so-so, was great to go up the Eiffel tower right away!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Reiden, Switzerland on March 18th, 2013 The tour was far too short! (about 1 hour). But the 'not having to wait in line at the Eiffel tower' was really worth it! For that alone, we'd do the tour again.
“It was really great, informative and we got to the Eiffel tower quickly.”
Reviewed by Andreas from Werthenstein, Switzerland on February 20th, 2013 Our family ( 4 kinds aged 11-17) took part in the tour. Everyone found it very interesting and in a short amount of time we got a great overview of Paris's history as well as of all of the cool buildings. Of course we also can't forget the quick entry into the Eiffel tower, without having to wait in line, that was really great.
“Unfortunately it was shorter than described and didn't include Montmartre.”
Reviewed by Robert from Berlin, Germany on February 13th, 2013 The tour began about 10 minutes later than we had planned and we finished about 10 minutes early. The missing 20 minutes would definitely have been enough time to have visited Sacré-Coer and the Moulin Rouge in Montmartre. Overall it was ok, and the time we saved at the Eiffel tower was worth the money.
“Everything was as expected.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wangen b. Dübendorf, Switzerland on February 8th, 2013 On the bus there were pre-recorded explanations available in German (there was also a version for kids). However after we handed in our tickets at the Eiffel tower there was no more German available. French people just don't speak German, it is what it is...
