  • Rating: 3 “great if line skipping & all activities promised delivered”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from South Fremantle, Australia on September 1st, 2014 2.5 hrs of queuing to get into Versailles and the gardens were closed!
Numerous sites of interest were closed for renovations.
The bus route and stops were not convenient to access and the audio content was very limited...the office staff were rude and provided no toilet facilities.
The boat tour commentary was poor (in multiple languages over a PA system) and there was no protection from rain.

The cost of the pass was just recovered by not having to pay for entry and skipping the long lines at D'Orsay and Louvre was a good bonus.

  • Rating: 4 “Great - but only worth it if you really get out and go lots of places”

Reviewed by Shelley from Auckland, New Zealand on August 17th, 2014 The Paris pass is perfect for new tourists who haven't been to Paris before as it kind of organises and structures it for you. The guidebook has everything set up so that you are not having to do much work except picking what of the big list of attractions to do. I see a few people don't think it's worth the money as you can't complete anywhere near all the attractions on the list - we saw it as being money we paid for the organisation, skip the line options and choice. The bus tour is great but make sure you start it early; we were a bit dismayed at the fact that a lot of people get on and stay on for a whole circulation, rather than on and off at different stops, so does make it hard to get a seat up on the open top; if that really matters to you, you will probably have to wait. I would only recommend to those like myself who don't like to waste time and just want to get out there and do things, otherwise people who prefer to wander might feel they haven't got their money's worth.

  • Rating: 5 “Good value and makes it so much easier”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, United Kingdom on July 31st, 2014 If you get to do even just the major tourist attractions, the pass pays for itself. The booklet is very useful. The highlight would be Wine Tasting for wine drinkers and Opera is well worth a visit.

  • Rating: 2 “Wasn't disclosed you only got one day on the bus...”

Reviewed by Holly from Gretna, United States on July 20th, 2014 Overall Paris was great, but the first day we had to take a $30 cab ride to pick up the pass, then there was no bus stop near for th big bus and we had to walk half the day searching. Buy the time we found the Big Bus depot it was 3 PM and more than half the day was wasted. We only had 3 days in Paris and so that was very unfortunate. That said, we were upset and the cost of the pass wasn't worth the money.

  • Rating: 5 “Great value for money, yet better making good plans”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on March 29th, 2014 Easy to book, immediate confirmation.
The CityPass counter is easy to find and the lady there was nice and helpful.

We took 11 of the mentioned Museums/Galleries/Attractions of the Paris city.
No waiting in the lines, no troubles at all and you control your spending for the trips.

The wine tasting is super recommended and worth 30e alone, but you should book it in advanced.
Around the Louvre area you can take about 4-6 museums in one intensive day.

If i knew before that some of tbe attractions (yet, few of them) are available only in a specific day i would make better planning.

Best way to explore the city, Great value for money

  • Rating: 4 “The 4 day pass worked well for us.”

Reviewed by Robert from Santa Ana, United States on June 27th, 2013 We used the Metro pass numerous times every day, and it was good for 5 days on our 4 day pass. The pass allowed us to avoid long lines at several museums including the Louvre. Even though we used the passes on a small fraction of the attractions, it was well worth it. The only complaint we had was that the audio from the ear buds was difficult to hear on the Rouge bus tour.

  • Rating: 3 “ok”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Rudersberg, Germany on May 23rd, 2013 The problem is that you can only pick up the tickets from one address. When you get there and don't know your way around you have to buy a metro day ticket anyway and then wander around until you find the place. They should let you get the tickets near the other metro stops. It wasn't worth it for us, we could have bought the Paris ticket directly from any metro station, that's a lot less stressful and takes up a lot less time. We wasted half a day trying to find this place. You don't have to do that when you go to Paris. When we were in Hamburg and Berlin it was totally different, there we could pick up the tickets from the train station or the airport.

  • Rating: 3 “Didn't have enough time to take full advantage of the offer”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Adligenswil, Switzerland on May 14th, 2013 It's nice that you can book on short notice, since you pick up the documents in the Hard Rock Café. It's a shame though that the employees in the Café didn't know anything at all about the offer or how you could use the ticket. They obviously don't need to know all the details, but they could at least know the basics involved. So that's why I rated the service quality as average. This offer definitely wasn't worth it for us, but whoever wants to see all of the museums and the other sights within a short period of time and is able to do so can get good use out of the pass. Warning: the lines at the sights are pretty long! There aren't discounts for everything and you don't get a brochure that lists all the places where you can use the pass until you arrive. This system is obviously more lucrative for the providers, since it probably allows them to sell more passes. The Hop-on Hop-off bus offer is valid for 2 days (not 24 hours).

  • Rating: 4 “Great that it worked out even when we planned it so spontaneously.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Dinkelsbühl, Germany on April 12th, 2013 It was great that we were still able to book the Paris Pass online an hour before our departure, and that we didn't have any issues picking it up the following evening at 5 pm from the Hard Rock Café. The Pass lets you do lots of things in Paris that you otherwise wouldn't get around to seeing, and it's really great to get to skip the line at the Louvre! However even when you have a 4-day pass you need to really plan to do everything quickly, and stay busy from morning until night to make sure you take advantage of everything.

  • Rating: 4 “This offer is worth it!”

Reviewed by Andrea from Hausen, Switzerland on April 8th, 2013 Whoever'd like to intensively explore the city should definitely take up this offer! You can skip the line at lots of places (I.e. the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe) and thereby save a lot of time. The accompanying guide provides lots of worthwhile information about the sights.

  • Rating: 4 “Great pass, would love to go again!!”

Reviewed by Egbert from Duisburg, Germany on April 7th, 2013 Everything went great, free entry to lots of great sights and much more…really recommend it, for when you're doing a city tour. I'd buy a pass like this again anytime.

  • Rating: 4 “Great overall.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Friesenried, Germany on April 2nd, 2013 Unfortunately the pass doesn't cover the Eiffel Tower or the catacombs. At the Notre Dame you wait in the same line as people who don't have tickets yet. However this was worth it overall, since we saved a ton of time at the other attractions.

  • Rating: 4 “Great card, you don't have enough time to use it, pickup at the Hard Rock Café”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Stenach, Switzerland on April 2nd, 2013 If you've booked a hotel outside of Central Paris then it doesn't make any sense to get this card. It only covers train stops through Rayon 3 (5 is outside of that). So you'd have to buy a ticket anyway.

  • Rating: 4 “Was worth it!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on March 18th, 2013 This pass makes it really easy to enjoy Paris! You can get into all sorts of places without having to wait in line, and you don't have to worry about anything else. Unfortunately the Eiffel Tower isn't included, so watch out for that! But next time I go on vacation in Paris I'll definitely buy this again!

  • Rating: 5 “A good investment”

Reviewed by Petra from Gross-Gerau, Germany on October 9th, 2012 Long queues were avoided… but in the future I'd get a 4 day pass instead of the 2 day one, as we were there 4 days…

  • Rating: 2 “Not recommended for everyone”

Reviewed by Sabine from Aachen, Germany on October 8th, 2012 The boat trip can only be used from the Eiffel Tower, even though it stops at other places. Very annoying, particularly when you wait around, then are rejected. An exact description of the bus stops would also be helpful.

  • Rating: 5 “A MUST for every person visiting the city”

Reviewed by Alexandra from guntramsdorf, Austria on September 12th, 2012 A MUST for every person visiting the city

  • Rating: 4 “It's a really cool offer--we've already saved the link for the next tour!”

Reviewed by Tatjana from Koelliken, Switzerland on August 27th, 2012 You really have the chance to see and visit a lot. The one problem was the ride back to Paris from Versailles since you need to buy a ticket for Zone 4.

  • Rating: 4 “The Paris Sightseeing Pass included everything we were promised! Definitely book it.”

Reviewed by Ulrike from Gunskirchen, Austria on August 2nd, 2012 We booked the ticket online and it was easily picked it up at the Hard Rock Café the day before. The "Hop On Hop Off" bus tour, the ride down the Seine, the Metro and the RER Ticket and almost all the sights were included in the fee and there's a reduced fee for anyone younger than 16. You can avoid the lines at the Louvre and use a side entrance. We were there for four days and booked the pass for three days next time.
The Eifel Tower isn't included--definitely book a tour online or start standing in line at 7 am for the 9 am entrance. An indescribable experience.

  • Rating: 4 “very satisfied”

Reviewed by Thu Nguyet from Darmstadt, Germany on July 15th, 2012 recommendable

  • Rating: 4 “Good value for money”

Reviewed by Kathrin from Groß Kreutz / OT Deetz, Germany on June 14th, 2012 It's inconvenient that you can only pick up the pass once you get there, meaning you have to spend extra money on maps and transport to get there, when you've already paid for these in the price of the pass. Unfortunately you can't really avoid queuing completely to see the sights you've chosen. The guide book with the mini city map isn't really adequate.

  • Rating: 4 “The red bus was awesome!”

Reviewed by Renate from Wangen/Dübendorf, Switzerland on May 29th, 2012 It would be nice if the route was a bit longer. The journey to the palace of Versailles should be included.

  • Rating: 5 “Being treated like VIPs was awesome =)”

Reviewed by Juliane from saarbrücken, Germany on May 21st, 2012 After some initial difficulties finding the right Hop-on bus (although that was partly because the woman in the Hard Rock Cafe was slightly clueless), this ticket was simply superb! It does NOT include the Eiffel Tower, but there are lots of places with great views over Paris and we got to skip the endless queues (whether at the Louvre, the Musée Gravin or the Arc de Triomphe..) and enter straightaway...simply GREAT, and worth the money!!!

  • Rating: 5 “very efficient pass, great!!”
