New York City’s subway, one of the oldest and most extensive public transportation systems in the world, not only carries millions of passengers daily, its mosaics, photographs, sculpture, and music performers also bring a spot of color to life.

Following this you will explore the Financial District on foot, home of Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange, where fortunes are made and lost. Stop to reflect on recent history at Ground Zero, the former site of the World Trade Center.

Next, savor a slice of real New York life with lunch at a local pizzeria with thin crust and tangy tomato sauce laced with basil and oregano topped with real mozzarella cheese. Finish the day by passing the gothic Woolworth Tower and ending in front of New York City Hall.

Jared explained the sights and their historical backgrounds to us in a relaxed and interesting manner - an experience! His secret tip with the view over 9/11 was very impressive. The end on Brooklyn Bridge came too quickly.
