Description:

Get to know the Big Apple with a licensed tour guide! Much of New York City's early history took place on the very streets that you will walk, meaning that on this tour, you'll get a peek at this historic city's roots.

Get up close to St. Paul’s Chapel and its historic churchyard, visit Trinity Church and the final resting places of Alexander Hamilton and Robert Fulton. En route you will also hear about the history of New York’s City Hall, the world- famous Brooklyn Bridge, the infamous Tweed Courthouse, and the Woolworth Building, the skyscraper that was the tallest building in the world for 16 years.

This tour does more than show you the heart of the financial capital of the world - you will also learn about the origins of our financial system as you see Federal Hall, the New York Stock Exchange, the former House of Morgan and 40 Wall Street. The tour also includes a stop at the World Financial Center where you will be able to view “Ground Zero” of the World Trade Center.

The highlight of your experience could come in unexpected destinations due to your tour guides knowledge of lesser-known sights of the city. For this reason, the tour includes stops at 8 Spruce Street, which is soon to be the tallest apartment building in North America.

And there's more! Tour 90 Church Street, a classic WPA-era Federal building that withstood the ravages of 9/11. Then, stop by an architectural jewel, the Alexander Hamilton Customs House that is now the home to the Smithsonian Institution Museum of the American Indian.

    Vielen Dank.
