Overview:

Experience the best of Monterrey on this guided tour that takes you from a glassworks museum to a cantina loved by the locals. Our bilingual guide and roundtrip transportation make it easy to explore Monterrey’s famous culture and history.

Description:

Monterrey, the ninth-largest city in Mexico, is home to many cultural landmarks and delicious restaurants. Our afternoon walking tour, led by an expert bilingual guide, will help you discover the magic of this historically important city.

You’ll kick off the tour with a trip to the Gals Museum, which details the history of Mexican artisan glassmakers. Next up is a stop at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Beer Garden. You can sit in the shady outdoor garden while sipping beer from the Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery and learning about Mexico’s famous baseball players.

Hungry yet? It’s time to stop for lunch at a local cantina that was a favorite of popular Mexican entertainer Pedro Infante. Then the tour heads to Barrio Antiguo, Monterrey’s oldest and most lively neighborhood, for a stop at a restaurant that mixes contemporary fine dining with old-world recipes.

Walk off the delicious meal and drinks with a stroll on the Santa Lucia Canalwalk, which features many scenic bridges, murals, and fountains.
