“Very interesting & joyful experience”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on January 14th, 2014 I would recommend it to anyone in any age, if you're not Harry Potter fan you will become one after this tour.
A great chance to explore the magic behind the movies.
Booking was easy, and got a confirmation ticket immediately.
“Quick and confortable !”
Reviewed by Fabio from ROMA, Italy on January 7th, 2014 Easy to book. Everything's gone well. Very nice tour.
Reviewed by Michael from Hamilton, Canada on December 25th, 2013 This was an excellent tour. The number of people in each group are controlled, so its very pleasant to go through the whole studio. Will do this one again !
“The studio visit was cool. The transport was okay.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Sisseln, Switzerland on July 28th, 2013 The studio visit is a highlight for every Harry Potter fan. The transport was okay, it was a very hot day. The only thing that I didn't think was so good was the information you get there when you check in, nobody really knew what was going on and the staff weren't very helpful. All in all, though, this was a great trip and we'd recommend it.
“Really well organized!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Merseburg, Germany on July 25th, 2013 Really recommend it.
“Simply amazing and overwhelming!”
Reviewed by Anja from Bremen, Germany on July 20th, 2013 As a visitor to London you should definitely see this. Even if you've got kids. It's really huge.
“A real experience, not just for Harry Potter fans”
Reviewed by Andreas from Leonding, Austria on July 18th, 2013 The bus ride is ok and definitely better than taking whichever trains you'd have to use to get there, since the ride there only took an hour we got to extend our time there to 3 hours- and you need all 4 hours if you've got the headphones and want to listen to them for each of the stations. This is especially exciting for fans of the films, the kids don't need as much information- for them it's enough that it's a Harry Potter experience. Summary: great for kids (watch out for the gift shop at the end), great for adults, since it's really exciting to see how the films were made, and how the technology changed over the course of filming all 8.
“I highly recommend the tour for families with children age 7plus!”
Reviewed by Angela from Berlin, Germany on July 10th, 2013 The tour was very interesting. Our child was very happy and so were we. Again please!
“Impressive for all Harry Potter fans.”
Reviewed by Bettina from Zunzgen, Switzerland on July 7th, 2013 We booked the trip from home. When we got there everything went perfectly, the bus was on time. The trip there takes about an hour and a half due to heavy traffic, getting back in the evening takes an hour. We rented a German audio guide for 4 pounds, it was very informative and impressive.
“Good transport service, and a great tour!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Mainz, Germany on July 4th, 2013 The Golden Tours visitor center in Victoria is easy to find and easy to get to using public transport. The employees there were very friendly and helpful. The bus transport was very comfortable, and we go to Leavsden Studios within 40 minutes. In terms of the tour itself all I have to say is: amazing! Lots of background info, photo opportunities, nice staff. Simply the best!
“average, and the transport was uncomfortable and took getting used to”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Niesky, Germany on June 29th, 2013 All in all the service on the bus was really unfriendly. On the way back we even had to sit on the emergency seat during a traffic jam. This was anything but comfortable. The Warner Brothers studio was fine, since you can choose your own pace and what you want to see.
Reviewed by Miriam from Wallenhorst, Germany on June 20th, 2013 It was greaaat. Everything went well. The only thing was that it was hard to find the Golden Tours station. It would be nice if they could describe more precisely where the departure point is. I'd book the tour again :) It was worth it :)
“Amazing, worth it”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from oyonnax, France on June 14th, 2013 The exhibition is very complete and impressive. If you're a HP fan, you'll love it!
“Really worthwhile for all Harry Potter fans!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Gernsheim, Germany on June 9th, 2013 In terms of the booking: we had booked the tour for the beginning of June, at least that's what the confirmation e-mail said. On the day of we went to Global Tours to register. That's where, to our horror we found out that we had booked for a month earlier, or the beginning of May!!! (there was an error in the system...) The Global Tours staff were very helpful, and thankfully they were able to book us onto a later tour, so that we could go to the studio anyway. So: after you've made your booking you should probably get in touch to find out if the date lasted is correct! In terms of the ride: the ride there on the Harry Potter bus took about an hour and a half due to rush hour traffic (London has endless traffic lights...) The ride back took about an hour. In terms of the tour: here I'd rehash what I said in the blurb at the beginning. Impressive!!! After you arrive by bus you have a good three hours (which are more than enough) to make your way alone. For 4.95 pounds you can rent an a
“Great tour! A must for all Harry Potter fans”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Krefeld, Germany on June 3rd, 2013 A must for Harry Potter fans. The original objects from the films were very nicely set up. Lots of place to look around since only a limited amount of visitors are allowed in at any one time. Lots of making-of facts. However we thought 3.5 hours wasn't long enough. At the end you go to a big souvenir shop with everything your heart desires (whether you need it is another matter). Tip: bring food and drinks with you, since in the outdoor part there's a nice place set up where you can relax, however the food and drinks on offer there aren't exactly a good value.
“Mark important info more clearly on the tickets”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Essen, Germany on June 3rd, 2013 Please make it clearer that the time is printed on the ticket alongside the date you go to the studios. It should be on the ticket from Get your Guide by the departure date, and not on the bottom mixed up with all the other info!
Reviewed by Petra from Dortmund, Germany on May 14th, 2013 The best that a Harry Potter fan can get. You've got to see it.

“Really recommend it”
Reviewed by Nina from Waldkraiburg, Germany on April 26th, 2013 Hello, this is really a great tour. I very much enjoyed it. The only downside is that the tour is very long, so you didn't have to stress at all- quite the opposite, take your time!!! :) The broomstick ride and car flight were the most fun. We'd go back anytime!!! Best, Nina
“Great tour, would go again anytime”
Reviewed by Andrea from Berlin, Germany on April 25th, 2013 We flew to London so that we could take this tour, and had a lot of fun on this day. However the prices in the shop were really overblown. Otherwise though this was a great day.
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Marburg, Germany on April 21st, 2013 The transport went great and when you read the address correctly it's no problem at all to find the meeting point. There was enough time for everything, and it's really worth it. This was one of the loveliest days of my life!
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Durchhausen, Germany on April 18th, 2013 Once you've found the Golden Tours office (it's not that easy, it's kind of hidden in the back), it all goes well from there. We got there on time and were able to calmly wait in line (it only took about 20 minutes). The tour itself was very informative and interesting, with lots of real original objects and buildings from the films. It was really impressive. Even though the total cost for this is pretty high, it's because you pay for everything. The huge shop at the end is a matter of taste. Whoever wants to can buy pretty much anything Harry Potter-themed; of course, you pay handsomely for it! But you're free to do what you want. The only downside was that we had to wait for half an hour in front of the closed bus before we rode back- in the freezing wind!
“Only recommend it for true Harry Potter fans”
Reviewed by Roland from Otterbach, Germany on April 15th, 2013 My expectations for this visit weren't entirely fulfilled. I'd only recommend this tour for true Harry Potter fans. Despite the bus transfer I thought this was overpriced. The staff spoke too quickly in English, so you couldn't follow what they were saying. It would be nice if they could speak more slowly, since the clients should at least be able to understand what's going on. The exhibits are really nice, but they were still missing something exceptional, such as for example what you'd see at the Marvel Cinema or the taxi ride at Madame Tussaud's. As a nonfan it's really hard to keep yourself entertained over the 3 hours. Overall I think this is overpriced considering what you get out of it.
“From start to finish we had a lovely day”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Krefeld, Germany on April 13th, 2013 The bus rides to the studios and back were very nice. In the studios themselves there were a lot of things to explore, and we took great pictures. This was a very successful day of our trip, and we'd do this again anytime.
“Magnificent, real behind the scenes tour…absolutely recommend it!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Kassel, Germany on April 9th, 2013 There's a ton to see, from the 'big hall', to Harry Potter's bedroom to the Gryffindor common room…from the riding knight above Godric's Hollow to the massive Hogwarts model! You get the opportunity to 'fly' through London on a broomstick, to sit in a 'flying car', or to drink a cold (sweet) butterbeer. Make sure you have enough space on your camera to take pictures and movies! It's also worth it to stop and soak in the wonderful exhibit pieces. It's three hours long and can get a bit brief at the end, depending on the crowding at the entry and how long you spend at each of the 'stations'! Watch out: make sure you bring enough money ;) You can find (almost) anything that your Harry Potter merchandise heart desires in the Harry Potter shop, but it's expensive!
Reviewed by Angelika from vienna, Austria on March 29th, 2013 The whole tour (from the booking in Austria, through to the organization and execution) was very well-organized! We looked to see where the drop-off point was the day before (it's not very easy to find. It's not right on Buckingham Road, but rather on a side alley!) This is an absolute MUST for Harry Potter Fans. You get enough time to look around and to go to the shop!
“A must for fans”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Düsseldorf, Germany on March 26th, 2013 The meeting point was a bit hard to find from Victoria Station, you should plan it so you have enough time to find it. The bus ride to the studios took about an hour and the bus was completely full. We had three hours to spend in the studio, you could rent an audio guide for 5 pounds, it was worth it, you really get a ton of information. The curtains and the things from the movies were really breathtaking. For a few ISIN things you go outside, so it's better not to check your coats. It was really great, in the shop you can get tons of stuff, crazy
“Very impressive and well-organized.”
Reviewed by Bettina from Jona, Switzerland on February 25th, 2013 Really recommend it. Despite the large amount of people you have enough room to take a look at everything. The time limits are very well-planned. The audio guide is great for foreign guests.
“Totally awesome!!!! An absolute must for all Harry Potter fans!!!”
Reviewed by Annika from Lüdinghausen, Germany on January 16th, 2013 This was just insane. We definitely recommend it. We turned it into a day tour. We flew into London Stansted in the morning on a Weeze flight. We booked a bus from Stansted airport that brought us to Victoria (16 pounds per person, there and back). Totally easy and comfortable,. It only took about 55 minutes. The bus stopped right on Buckingham Palace Road, right at the Golden Tours building. It was really easy to find. Then we rode to the studios. The studios were just AWESOME!!! We got there an hour early, since it only took us an hour to get there. During the time before the tour we got to take a look at the souvenir shop. We spent about 3 hours in the studios, unfortunately that wasn't very much. At the end we really had to rush and weren't able to take as close of a look at everything as we would have liked. Next time we'd like to be able to go straight in! :)
