Overview:

Take the bus from central London for this magical full-day tour of the Warner Brothers Studio. Go behind the scenes of the Harry Potter film sets to explore the enchanting props and costumes, and walk in the footsteps of your favorite characters.

Description:

Take yourself on a wizardly adventure to the Harry Potter and Warner Brothers Studio. Board the bus in central London and journey to the home of Firebolts, chocolate frogs, and Polyjuice potions. Get up close and personal to the spell-bounding sets, the most iconic props, and the costumes worn by the trio Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Discover some of Hogwarts’s best kept secrets, including fun facts and trivia about the special effects and animatronics.

After arriving at the Studios, you’ll have about 3.5 hours to explore all the sets, props, and studio gift shop. Get your photo taken at your favorite filming locations such as the impressive Great Hall, Dumbledore’s office, and the Gryffindor common room. Walk down the cobble-stoned Diagon Alley and picture the local witches and wizards as you pass Ollivander's, Flourish and Blotts, and Eeylops Owl Emporium.

After you’ve had your fill of frothy Butterbeer and have tried your hand at riding a broomstick, it’s time to board the bus back to London. Don’t forget to check out the studio shop to find some souvenirs before you head back to the world of Muggles!

  • Rating: 4 “Great Day”

Reviewed by Nicole from Botanic Ridge, Australia on November 10, 2014 A must for any Harry Potter fan. Handy to have a bus go straight there and you don't need to worry about pre purchasing tickets, as sometimes you can't buy them on the day. You must have a ticket with an entry time on it to enter. This took out all the hassle of looking for bus routes etc.

  • Rating: 5 “Very very very great experience!”

Reviewed by Johannes from Jyväskylä, Finland on November 4, 2014 I came with my brother all the way from Finland, and we did read many times the guide how to find the right bus and how to be on time and etc. Me both understood it like this: as we booked the 14:00pm start, we tought that our trip starts at 14:00 in the WB-studios! And, in the guide it said that you must be two hours earlier before start in bus station. So we went to the bus station at 11.45. Girl in there said, no you must be here around 13:30 and take the 14:00 bus to the WB-studios -- and your trip starts at 16:00pm there! We were like, what, there wasn't anything about 16:00 start anywhere in these papers? Okay, we went there on time and everything was very great there! Great experience :)

But, if you could, make the guides a bit more like "for dummies"?

  • Rating: 3 “Disapointed because of the short time but it is a sight to behold.”

Reviewed by Xavière from Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France on November 4, 2014 The site is an absolute "must-do" in a lifetime if one's a true Harry Potter fan, be it from the movies or the books. From Honeyduke's chocolate to Black Lake creatures, eveyrthing is made so that you feelk part of the wizarding world. However, I felt quite distressed when I first received my voucher and saw that the announced time (about 7 hours) had been shortcut to about 5 hours and ewtremely displeased when the 5 hours became only 3, 5 (arrival at 9 but opening of the studios at 10 and departure from Watford at 13.30).
Moreover, finding the bus was quite challenging as the map does not inform of everything of this part of London.
Overall, the site is marvellous, the organization atrocious.
