Very nice way to see a lot of London and get an idea how much there is to see.
The first day we got on a connector bus right by our hotel, which was very convenient. We enjoyed the non-guided tour until we got off at Trafalgar square to catch a different bus. The guide was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the sights. We got off at Buckingham palace that day. The next day we tried to get back on the bus but it was a very different experience...the traffic was at a stand still. We crawled along at a snail's pace until finally we got off at St. Paul's cathedral and walked faster than the bus. Too many sight seeing buses were clogging up the roads. I enjoyed it overall but I think there needs to be a limit on the number of tourist buses on the main arteries. Loved London though!
We had booked a tour for Sunday thinking the traffic would be lighter only to find out that a 10K Run was taking place that day and there would be traffic restrictions along the way. At the ticket office they asked us did we want to extend our ticket to 48 hrs which we couldn't do due to commitments the next day. We decided to do the Thames River Cruise first which was excellent and decided to start our hop-on-hop-off bus tour the next day.
Very professional, well organised, very informative .
