  • Rating: 4 “great, really enjoyed”

Reviewed by Michael from Bad Langensalza, Germany on October 15th, 2012 4 stars, I just couldn't find the ticket office, otherwise all good, I saw everything I wanted to see

  • Rating: 3 “Good to get an overview.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Troisdorf, Germany on October 13th, 2012 You get the best view of course from upstairs in an open-top bus, but the weather has to be fairly good, downstairs you don't see that much through the often heavy traffic. The audio guide works well and is synchronised to the sights. Sometimes it repeated itself when we were standing still and then the ending was missing. This happens more often when the sights come one after the other in stop-and-go traffic. The ride over Tower Bridge is of course amazing.

  • Rating: 3 “The headphones have to be renovated, bad signal”

Reviewed by Brigitte from Nottuln, Germany on October 11th, 2012 3 stars average

  • Rating: 5 “Great!!!!!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berikon, Switzerland on October 11th, 2012 You have to see it. Do it at the start of your trip. Impressive. All went smoothly. Would do it again in a second.

  • Rating: 3 “A usual sort of city bus tour”

Reviewed by Jürgen from Berlin, Germany on October 9th, 2012 Shame there was no alternative city tour, I knew most of it already.

  • Rating: 4 “The city tour was well explained”

Reviewed by Devassykutty from Chur, Switzerland on October 8th, 2012 Really good

  • Rating: 4 “Interesting and informative”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Köniz, Switzerland on October 6th, 2012 Interesting and informative city tour. Might make sense to think about which route to prioritise (red, yellow or blue).

  • Rating: 4 “recommended”

Reviewed by Sennhauser from Bütschwil, Switzerland on September 26th, 2012 I'd book this tour again any time. Friendly guides, interesting sights and always good info.

  • Rating: 5 “Highly recommended, thanks to lucky weather the drive through London was great.”

  • Rating: 3 “Has potential to be better!”

Reviewed by Denise from Habsburg, Switzerland on September 20th, 2012 The booking went smoothly. On the bus the headphones didn't always work :=(, the windows were so dirty that you couldn't see out of them. Sometimes the staff weren't that friendly. I'll try out the competition next time!

  • Rating: 4 “Great tour, to get an overview of London”

Reviewed by Heidi from Zürich, Switzerland on September 16th, 2012 We only took the red tour and the Themes ride in one direction. But it was definitely worth the money.
The headphones didn't plug in everywhere, but the info text in german was helpful and informative. The open rear end of the bus was great for taking good photos.
The Themes ride went past all the important sights. Sadly the guide's english took a bit of getting used to. But he was really into it and it was fun all the same. Most of all we were lucky to see tower bridge opening.

  • Rating: 4 “Good tour, you got the impression that rival operators went more frequently.”

Reviewed by Klaus from Stuttgart, Germany on September 16th, 2012 Good tour and funny guides. Sometimes you had to wait a while for the next bus, while some of the rival operators' buses drove by. The blue line closes early, because of that you sometimes won't make it to your destination...

  • Rating: 4 “Great way to see London”

Reviewed by LYNN from STOKE GIFFORD, United Kingdom on August 29th, 2012 The hop on hop off bus tour is a really good way to get around London & the buses are frequent so we never had to wait very long. The commentaries were informative, especially the live commentaries.
The tour also included a river cruise which was very enjoyable & again the commentary was very good.
A great day out (if the weather is good),

  • Rating: 4 “A must for those visiting London for the first time!”

Reviewed by Sabine from Heidenau, Germany on August 24th, 2012 To get a general overview of London, this kind of bus tour is a highlight. The booking confirmation was directly accepted by the staff at the bus stop and was exchanged for a ticket. The buses drive on 3 routes which include all the important sights of London. You can get off and then get on the next bus, however you like. The drive by the Themes from tower bridge to westminster/London eye and back is also included.
However I have 2 points of criticism: The smaller bus stops are sometimes hard to find despite the map, and you have to watch out not to get too carried away in the city, because the buses don't drive through 24 hours! The yellow line goes until 8pm, the red line only till 5.30. Considering you have to plan a lot of time for the sights, it can get pretty tight.

  • Rating: 4 “The tour was really nice”

Reviewed by Sabine from Tönisvorst, Germany on August 13th, 2012 We really enjoyed it.

  • Rating: 3 “OK”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Harpstedt, Germany on August 4th, 2012 Shame, we'd hoped for more info about current events. We were there during the olympics. Sometimes the volume of the speakers wasn't loud enough - the traffic was extremely loud.

  • Rating: 4 “Everything was perfectly organized”

Reviewed by Veronika from Obertshausen, Germany on July 27th, 2012 everything was very well-organized

  • Rating: 5 “Very highly recommended !!!”

Reviewed by Heidi from Gramatneusiedl, Austria on July 19th, 2012 Great, buses came often so we never had to wait long, bus drivers were polite and helpful, everything was the best!!!

  • Rating: 4 “good overview”

Reviewed by Reinhard from Berlin, Germany on July 19th, 2012 one point of contention- it would have been nice to have had towels to use when it was raining out, so that we could have wiped down the seats on the upper level. Then it would be fine to go during the rain (with raincoats on).

  • Rating: 4 “Everything was the best.”

Reviewed by Helmut from Bludenz, Austria on July 19th, 2012 I'd recommend this tour because it lets you comfortably get to know the city from an open-top bus, and it covers a lot of information.

  • Rating: 4 “Very practical for people taking a short trip to London”

Reviewed by Hanna from Köln, Germany on July 16th, 2012 The tour offers the opportunity to get a quick overview of the sights worth seeing in London. You can get on and off whenever you want. In my opinion the ticket is worth it above all when you use it for 24 hours: for example, when you get on at 1 pm on the first day and then use it again the following afternoon.

  • Rating: 3 “We had to wait for too long every time we wanted to catch another bus”

Reviewed by Elisabeth from Hemmental, Switzerland on July 16th, 2012 there weren't many German-speaking buses. The competition did a much more efficient job.

  • Rating: 5 “Great service, they even speak Italian!!!”

Reviewed by Caratsch from Müstair, Switzerland on July 10th, 2012 Everyone was really friendly to us, even in Italian, which I very much appreciated. They also gave us tips about other sights worth seeing, for which they also had cheap tickets as well as the option to avoid waiting in line.

  • Rating: 5 “Excellent and good value for money”

Reviewed by Rachel from Kembs, France on July 10th, 2012 Great bus tour with 3 road circuits available - was able to extend to 48hrs usage directly on site after booking the ticket on line. Like any tour in a big city you will suffer congestion, road works and detours for demonstrations - can be tiresome but can't be avoided. The boat trip to Greenwich included in this ticket was also a great way to see the sights from the water. You can spend time at the Naval museum there and take a later boat to return. Would definitely do this again on a future trip - in two days we couldn't complete all the circuits on offer.

  • Rating: 5 “Excellent service!”

Reviewed by Monica - Ioana from Offenbach, Germany on July 5th, 2012 Everything went perfectly. In London we didn't have to wait in line at all. And we got tons of info there. Would love to come again anytime! Thanks!

  • Rating: 4 “Very nice routes, lots of information and there's an audio guide available in German”

Reviewed by Josef from Nandlstadt, Germany on July 2nd, 2012 The tours and information were nice and informative, but unfortunately some of the tours were already over by about 6:30 pm even though they were scheduled to end at 8.

  • Rating: 5 “Very highly recommended”

Reviewed by Sandra from Rapperswil, Switzerland on June 25th, 2012 If you know some English, then you should definitely take the English-language bus tour. If not, you should choose the ones that don't require headphones. There are lots of different stops where you can get off or on. It's really worth it.

  • Rating: 5 “Everything went great! Thanks very much!”

Reviewed by Jürgen from München, Germany on June 20th, 2012 We brought the tickets that we had bought online and printed out to the first stop of the tour, exchanged them for day tickets, and went off from there… everything went great!
