“Great way to see the city!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Pembroke Pines, United States on July 31st, 2014 We took the tour bus and it takes you all over the city to the biggest hotspots. You save on public transport which is not all that cheap in London when you're with a whole family. We then took the "Jack the ripper" tour with probably the nicest most enthusiastic tour guide. She was so informative and was open to all questions. That specific tour is a bit gruesome for kids and it's a walking tour so bring your walking shoes. All in all great experience.
“Great routes, tour guide decent, starting location was a nightmare”
Reviewed by Alyssa from Chicago, United States on June 27th, 2014 I was only in London for the day so I thought taking a bus tour would be really easy, which is was! However, there was a concert going on at the start of the yellow tour and instead of e-mailing us a head of time, you showed up and had to figure out the adjusted location on your own. The first tour guide was just okay and the second was much better. Piece of advice, if you are looking for just the tour (not to hop on and off) I would just take a tour that does't stop.
“Too crowded and oversold to be enjoyable.”
Reviewed by James E. from Oxnard, United States on June 12th, 2014 Hugely oversold. Nearly impossible to move from one hop on hop off point or connect from one route to another. Hop on bus only added to the massive traffic jams throughout the city.
Where live narration was available it was quite appropriately informational and enjoyable.
Automated narration was barely audible and impossible to keep the device in ear suitably.
On the other hand, we did see a lot and pass by most important London sites.
Thank you to the bus drivers who safely maneuvered us through the nearly impossible traffic.
“Excellent way to see sights of London”
Reviewed by Zena from Kettering, Northants, United Kingdom on April 22nd, 2014 Brilliant day out with my children, great education for them to see sights of london on the tour bus.
“Excellent audio guide, very informative!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Logan Village, Australia on September 18th, 2013 Great tour, frequent busses and very informative as well as including small fun facts!
“could not have been better gave us a great day out in London”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Chorley, United Kingdom on September 9th, 2013 We used the yellow route bus and we only visited for the day but managed to see most of the sights, the guides were excellent and there was always someone at the stops to give help, the hop on hop off enabled us to visit many places and we enjoyed the boat ride from the Tower to the Embankmant and again the guide was great, a thoroughly enjoyable day out.
“My 5 year old granddaughter and I loved it !”

“Enjoyable introduction to London”
Reviewed by Raymond from Simpsonville, United States on September 22nd, 2012 This truly hit the highlights. Great for our first day to get an over view of the area. Took an extensive London tour the following day. But depending on your time in the city - this was very pleasant.
“Great way to see London”
Reviewed by LYNN from STOKE GIFFORD, United Kingdom on August 29th, 2012 The hop on hop off bus tour is a really good way to get around London & the buses are frequent so we never had to wait very long. The commentaries were informative, especially the live commentaries.
The tour also included a river cruise which was very enjoyable & again the commentary was very good.
A great day out (if the weather is good),
“Excellent and good value for money”
Reviewed by Rachel from Kembs, France on July 10th, 2012 Great bus tour with 3 road circuits available - was able to extend to 48hrs usage directly on site after booking the ticket on line. Like any tour in a big city you will suffer congestion, road works and detours for demonstrations - can be tiresome but can't be avoided. The boat trip to Greenwich included in this ticket was also a great way to see the sights from the water. You can spend time at the Naval museum there and take a later boat to return. Would definitely do this again on a future trip - in two days we couldn't complete all the circuits on offer.
“Best way to see London”
Reviewed by Lynette from Leicestershire, United Kingdom on June 18th, 2012 The commentary on the bus is fun and lively and the guides give lots of entertaining titbits.
“Very informative and organized.”
Reviewed by Imelda from Los Angeles, United States on June 6th, 2012 The tour covered all the major landmarks of London. The audio guide was tremendously helpful. I would definitely recommend to a friend who intends to visit London.

“Well worth doing”
Reviewed by Karen from YORK, United Kingdom on June 5th, 2012 Very friendly and informative trip with factual and amusing stories along the way by the on-bus guide.
“Well worth the money !”
Reviewed by Jan from Kirknewton, United Kingdom on May 29th, 2012 Absolutely fab tour ! Got to say tho that the tour guides with a sense of humour were far better than the 1 guide that had a monotone voice who was so dull that we got off his bus :/ the others were great tho - I'm now full of loads of useless information that'll prob win a pub quiz or something lol. We will be back for more !
“Great value for money but you have to go to Vsitor Centre to get it”
Reviewed by Elizabeth from St Andrews, United Kingdom on May 25th, 2012 It would have been very helpful had you said on your website that the prepaid voucher had to be exchanged at the Visitor Centre off Trafalgar Square. Departure point at Embankment Pier would not accept voucher. You need to go first to the Visitor Centre then organise your trips thereafter.
“Great way to see London with limited time”
Reviewed by John from Cotati, United States on May 17th, 2012 The Hop On, Hop Off doubledecker bus was a great way to see many of the main attractions of London. There is one bus with recorded commentary in many different languages accessed with the included headphones. Another bus has an English speaking guide who can also answer questions about the sites that are visited. We used the latter and enjoyed it immensely. The highlight for us though was the included boat ride that leisurely goes by many of the tourist sites but with fantastic views for photographs.
“Wonderful way to see London”
Reviewed by Ronald from Lanark, United Kingdom on May 17th, 2012 Had a great weekend in London the sightseeing tour was fantastic - a rep at every stop to help saw much more of London than we would have done by tube or walking thoroughly enjoyed the commentary

“overpriced and poorly informed, but nonetheless enjoyable”
Reviewed by Serena from Southampton, United Kingdom on May 2nd, 2012 As above, tickets too expensive and the tour guide was poorly informed as evidenced by her narration. Quick way to see the sights though.
“Great way to see London if you have never been there before.”
Reviewed by Michael from New London, United States on April 28th, 2012 This is a great way to see all of London.
“Informative tour with convenient tourist stops”
Reviewed by Brittany from Salem, United States on April 18th, 2012 We didn't know what we were doing when we arrived at the bus stop area by our hotel. Thankfully one of the Original Bus tour employees was there and spotted us looking confused. He came over and was very informative about how the tour worked and offered us a discounted ticket to any of the attractions that were on the tour. We were thankful for this as we knew we wanted to go into the Tower of London. The only complaint was when we sat in the lower half of the bus it was harder to hear the guide than on top. But overall a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
“Fantastic way to see London in a nutshell”
Reviewed by Suzanne from Wakefield, United Kingdom on April 15th, 2012 We loved this tour and stayed on for the full two hours although there is a great hop on hop off option. The guide was witty and informative. The tour takes in all the best bits of London and helps u to get your bearings in a way that the tube can't .
“great customer service and easy access”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Oakland, United States on April 11th, 2012 the bus service was easily accessible and and the customer service was great. my one small complaint is losing my ticket. although I had proof of my purchase the bus driver would not provide me with another ticket for the bus. in the future, I would the company to ensure a process to show proof in the event of a lost ticket.
