“So-so due to poor information”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Chicago, United States on May 2nd, 2013 Its difficult to find the bus stops if you don't get on where you got off. I wanted to walk around a bit so I tried to get to the next stop and it took me a really long time to find the stop, the map they gave me was very little help. The audio is pre-recorded and very minimal, also when we got stuck in traffic, it got out of sync to the sights.

“wouldn’t book it again...”
Reviewed by Caroline from Herzogenaurach, Germany on September 29th, 2012 The Golden Tour has a lot of stops, but not much info. You get headphones and you can select from many languages. But sadly you don't get much from it, most of the time there's just music playing. I recognised the Tower Bridge by myself on the right hand side, but the info on the bridge e.g. height, age etc. aren't added.
The guides were nice but couldn't really help any further.
The boat tour is trash, you only get to ride on a liner up the Themes, but you don't get any info and there's no real chance to sit outside.
Price top, info a flop.

“Great value, great experience and great tour guide”
Reviewed by Lucija from Bristol, United Kingdom on July 23rd, 2012 The ease of booking the tickets online was the first great thing about using Golden Tours tourist bus tour of London. We were also blessed with very nice weather and completely mesmerised by our tour guide. I'm very sorry that I didn't catch his name but he proved to be a never-ending well of local knowledge, spanning from history, literature and popular culture. We had a an amazing time and enojoyed every minute of the bus tour, followed by the included free Thames Clipper boat ride. The only catch is not to leave too little time towards the end of the day (rush hour in particular) if you are trying to catch a connection out of London, because the frequency of tour buses is not great after 5pm.

“Not enough buses available :(”
Reviewed by Cornelia from Boswil, Switzerland on July 15th, 2012 On the first day we put in a lot of effort trying to find a bus and eventually just gave up. We tried again on the second day. After walking around for a long time we finally found one of the blue buses. It departed soon after we found it. We also had to ask twice to get our tickets exchanged- we needed them to get onto our boat ride. We also had to wait a long time to get on to the boat, but the ride on it was comfortable.

“Entertaining trip with an amusing atmosphere.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on March 25th, 2012 It was really fun, but the loudspeakers were often too loud for me. Nice, pleasant staff even before we got on the buses.

“Was good, pleasant, funny staff in the bus.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on March 25th, 2012 You have to be on the lookout on the street for a person dressed in blue, then you'll find the bus station easily. We were spoken to directly and were shown the way to the station. The staff were always in a good mood. Even when it rained, there were plastic rain jackets ready in the bus for us. So it wasn't too bad if you had no umbrella with you. It was fun.

“great value but although less buses than others would use again”
Reviewed by John from Glasgow, United Kingdom on March 12th, 2012 Apart from the free museums, this was the best value we had in London. I expected the inclusive boat trip to be in an inferior vessel but it was top notch. We did not have time to try an inclusive walking tour but will make time we book with this company. Some of the other companies appear to have a more frequent service but the most we waited was 10 minutes.

“Friendly drivers but .............”
Reviewed by M from East Sussex, United Kingdom on December 30th, 2011 Drivers were very friendly, the announcer on one bus concentrated on the people upstairs only, never even said hello to the people downstairs. The buses could have done with being more frequent, to the point that next time we come, we will probably use another service as there was more of these available.

“Wir waren von der Organisation hellauf begeistert.”
Reviewed by Richard from Grafing, Germany on May 15th, 2013 Wir waren drei Tage in London.

Reviewed by Roland from Urdorf, Switzerland on May 4th, 2013 Die Agenten an den Stationen waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit!

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Männedorf, Switzerland on April 23rd, 2013 Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service, weniger Busse und andere Haltestellen, daher teils umständlicher.

-
“Sehr guter Service mit einer Ausnahme.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Ditzingen, Germany on April 11th, 2013 Der Mitarbeiter der Firma hat am ersten Tag unserer Busrundfahrt unsere Bestätigung nicht in ein Ticket umgewandelt (aus Zeitnot? ).

-
“Nette Idee-Ablauf jedoch manchmal kompliziert.”
Reviewed by Frauke from Dettingen, Germany on April 4th, 2013 Am besten einsteigen und sitzen bleiben!

“tolle Gelegenheit London kennenzulernen”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wadern, Germany on February 19th, 2013 Die Information über die jeweilige Stadtlage war übersichtlich und gut.
