At St. Paul’s Cathedral, you’ll descend to the crypt for a traditional afternoon cream tea in the café. Enjoy fresh scones with jam and whipped cream, along with a cup of steaming English tea! Please note that the tour does not enter the main sections of St. Paul’s cathedral.
Leaving the area by the recently restored Paternoster Square, now home to the London Stock Exchange, you’ll weave your way through old churchyards and hidden back streets.
You’ll continue past Mansion House, home to the Lord Mayor of London. You’ll later encounter the Lloyd’s building, Tower 42, and St. Mary Axe – otherwise known as the Gherkin.
In Leadenhall Market you’ll see the site of Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter movies. Heading downhill you’ll pass Pudding Lane, where the Great Fire of London started, and view the towering monument that stands as a reminder of the tragedy.
From London Bridge, you’ll walk along the historic Thames, passing Old Billingsgate Market, HMS Belfast, Hays Galleria, and City Hall. Enjoy amazing views of the Tower Bridge as you approach the Tower of London. Hear about the Tower’s history and see Traitors’ Gate before arriving at exclusive St. Katharine Docks.
St. Katherine Docks is home to million-pound yachts and politicians. You’ll finish your tour here with a waterside drink at the 18th-century Dickens Inn.

We had an amazing time! Our guide, Jonny, was enthusiastic and informative, and the time passed really quickly. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Very good value for money with a discount coupon from Groupon. The tour guide, Joe .,was very amusing and a fun guide. Be prepared for a lot of walking ( approx 4 hrs.) but well worth the sore feet at the end of the day.

Although not her fault, the tour had a rough start with the guide being 25 minutes late. The office wasn't very helpful with their instructions. It seemed a bit pointless to meet in Trafalgar Square, just to hop on a bus to St. Paul's. Perhaps there could be a bit more time there? Once the tour got going, it was great. The stories were really interesting, most of which I hadn't heard before. The guide spoke a bit too fast but she was clearly very enthusiastic about the subject matter.
It was great value for the £6.25 we paid with GroupOn but I don't think the tour was worth £25.

Couldn’t recommend this enough – the guide was great giving us enough information to make the entire experience really interesting without bombarding us with boring facts and figures.

The tour guide was very knowledgable and gave us some fascinating insight into the sights and streets. My only quip is that all 12 of us could not always hear him - is it not possible to have a small headset for the partcipants and the tour guide? I have seen these used for this purpose. All in all a very satisfying experience. Please thank the guide from us.

Thank you so much for a truly memorable day. Kristian our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us loads of quirky information. The tour says it is recommended for over 12 years however we had two 13 year olds with us and although they really did get a good insight into the history of London they did feel it was too long for them. My husband and i loved it, some highlights included Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese - definately plan to visit it again (for an hour or two), Twinnings and St Pauls.
Would I recommend this trip? Absolutely as it takes you away from the usual tourist routes. Well worth the cost.
Would I do it again? Definately plan to take on another tour on our next visit(minus the teens). Don't get me wrong they did enjoy it and keep producing little gems of information from Kristian, so don't be put off by my opinion.
Give GetYourGuide a go, they won't disappoint.

A wonderful day. Very interesting and informative. As we went on a Saturday we had limited access to a couple of sites but it didn't detract from the tour. Kristian is an asset to your company - friendly, knowledgeable - and helped to make the tour extremely enjoyable. Prior to the start, I was unsure about whether I'd enjoy it but I was totally hooked by the end of it, so much so that since returning home I've been studying some facts in more detail. Hope to be back in London at the next possible opportunity and will definitely be looking for another tour. Thanks Kristian.

My friend and I had a very enjoyable afternoon. Christian our guide was very informative and fun to be with. We would certainly recommend these tours to our friends and I cannot contribute any negative comments. We were very tired when we got home but satisfied that we had a good, informative walk around London and saw things we would not have found on our own. Our thanks to Christian.
