Egypt’s wealth of ancient wonders and famed history promises an educational and wondrous adventure. Visit the ancient city of Thebes, passing by the Nile River, and seeing sites you will never forget.

Once in Thebes, head to the famed Valley of the Kings. This incredible complex of 63 tombs of the Pharaohs dates back nearly 4000 years and is an impressive site to behold. The royal tombs are decorated with scenes from Egyptian mythology and give clues to the beliefs and funerary rituals of the period.

The next stop is at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most successful women rulers of all time. From here we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, the two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Back at the East Bank, you will enjoy a freshly prepared lunch and relax a little before visiting the Karnak Temple. Nearby there is the Alabaster Factory and Papyrus Bazaar where you can buy souvenirs manufactured according to traditional methods.
