“I'd do it again!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Gig Harbor, United States on April 23rd, 2012 Hawaiian Lifeguard Surf Instructors (HLSI) was great! The instructors were friendly and attentive, from the initial orientation provided by Tifani to the actual surf lesson provided by Kelii. Another HLSI instructor, John, was at the surf location taking pictures of the surfing. So don't worry if you forget your camera, or you are in the water, they got you covered. Make sure to ask if someone will be there for your lesson, I didn't ask about photos, so I was pleasantly surprised. We actually booked for another lesson later in the week, however, they called us to let us know that it was "lake conditions" (ie no waves), so they weren't going to have lessons. We scheduled for the day after that, but lake conditions were still in effect....great for snorkeling bad for surfing. We were very pleased that they called us before our lessons so we didn't waste a trip down to the surf site. Like the summary states: I'd do it again!
