Reviewed by Louise from wemyss bay, United Kingdom on November 5th, 2013 Booked this tour for a spooky Halloween experience and so glad I did. Not being a fan of anything too scary this was right up my street. Had fun, tour guide very knowledgable and had a couple of heart racing moments. Overall I would recommend this tour as a family experience or just to have a light hearted spooky experience. U won't be dissapointed.

“Worth every penny, and would highly recommend!”
Reviewed by Caroline from Chelmsford, United Kingdom on November 3rd, 2013 Booked as a Halloween treat to end our day out in Edinburgh. We are a family of four, with 2 children aged 8 and 14. Having read the reviews we chose this tour for its lighthearted approach, and were not disappointed. The kids loved hearing some of the facts about the City, and the characters who lived there. Plus meeting a few along the way! Both of the guides were highly entertaining, and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. The book received with the tour, is full of facts about Edinburgh, and gives a more in depth account of some of the characters and stories that we were told. Excellent value for money, and the highlight of our day in Edinburgh.
“Really great guided tour”
Reviewed by Tony from Billingham, United Kingdom on October 14th, 2013 Fantastic night tour of the dark side of Edingurgh centered around the old town area near the castle. Takes about 80 mins and involves quite a bit of walking. The guide and his "helper" who appears in various disguises do a great job of entertaining the group during the walk. Well worth the money
“I recommend this tour.”
Reviewed by Teresa from Cocoa Beach, United States on October 3rd, 2013 You'll see some places in Edinburgh that you won't find on your own. You'll learn, be made to laugh and be frightened just a little.

Reviewed by Steve from Washington, United Kingdom on March 6th, 2013 We were not sure what to expect, being taken round Edinburgh by a man in white make up, and his many costumed accomplice! However it was an excellent tour from start to finish. If you were going to look for downsides it wasn't the most scary tour if thats what you are into, and some of the locations were not the most exotic(back of a night club by a bin) But this was minor as it was very informative and hilarious, .perhaps if these two get sick of tours they can do comedy.Would definately recommend.

“The whole family enjoyed this, funny, entertaining and factual”
Reviewed by Sally from Pinxton, United Kingdom on August 11th, 2012 we enjoyed this tour, it was very entertaining and the staff (characters) obviously enjoyed their roles wholeheartedly!!!! if you get the chance to do this tour in Edingburgh do so its fun. Also other ghost tours were around us at the same time and there were so many people in the tour that they could not possibly see or hear anything and this tour limit the numbers so everyone can enjoy it.
“Get your scream on!”
Reviewed by Maureen from Edinburgh, United Kingdom on August 7th, 2012 Great fun tour with the right mix of hilarity, screaming and gorey history! Went as a family group and there was something in it for everyone. Even my 15year old son, who does not impress easily, had a great time. I think its best to do it when it gets dark as this adds to the atmosphere. The price is reasonable and you get a wee book given to you as well. Even though I'm from Edinburgh and know many of the wee tales it's great fun doing it this way. thoroughly recommend it.
“Very enjoyable and informative.”

“More mirth than murder or mystery!”
Reviewed by Ed from Rectory Lane, United Kingdom on June 13th, 2012 It was OK and fun for the young kids but from the description we read before booking, we were expecting it to be a bit darker and more of the murder and mystery. I'm afraid that the Mad Monk clowning about in a rubber mask didn't really add anything to the tour.
“good fun and informative”
