Your balloon expedition starts out with an early morning pick-up at your hotel. Then, head out before sunrise to the desert to begin a 5-hour adventure!

You’ll float above the Arabian desert for about an hour in the rising morning sun. In addition to seeing giant red sand dunes you’ll be on the lookout for camels, wild gazelles, vivid green oases, date farms, and the ever-changing shadows on the desert landscape.

After the descent, when you’re back on solid ground, you’ll be served cold refreshments, including juices, soft drinks, and water – and be presented with your flight certificate by the balloon's pilot.

On occasion there’s an opportunity to meet camel farmers, falconers, and other local folks who live in the area.

After the end of this magical ride you’ll be transferred back to the city and dropped off at your hotel.

• Transfers outside of the urban areas of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain

Good to Know:

Please be on time and wear flat shoes and comfortable clothing, as you will be climbing into the basket. You may also want to bring sunglasses and a cap.

Cancellations are accepted with no charge up until 10:00 on the morning before your flight. Cancellations after that time will be charged in full.

Pick-up times vary as the tour departs before sunrise. Please contact Balloon Adventures Emirates after your booking to arrange for the exact pick-up time.

Transfers for passengers staying at hotels outside the urban areas of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain are available for an additional AED 600.

Recommended for children over 7 years of age.

We are not able to accommodate:
Women who are more than 3 months pregnant
Anyone who has chronic back/neck pain
Anyone who has had major surgery in the last 6 months

If you are one of our more mature passengers, please be aware that on some days the landing can be bumpy!

Only occasionally was the silence disturbed by the droning burner (take some sort of head covering with you, the burner is really hot!). Catain Attila from Hungary loved his job, and we enjoyed the journey.

Pilot war gut - für Windrichtung und Windgeschwindigkeit kann er ja nichts.
