“A Fine Tour”
Reviewed by Helen from North York, Canada on July 25th, 2014 The tour guide was punctual. He gave us lots of information about the Grandn Mosque and other attractions.
Reviewed by Roy from Auckland, New Zealand on June 1st, 2014 Good trip with must see Mosque. Early start with long pick up time around hotels in mini bus before joining coach, mainly because of traffic. Once clear of city and return no problem. Good value for price.
“I just could not enter to the mosque.. the only interest of the tour”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Champs sur Marne, France on May 19th, 2014 I was recommended by a friend to visit the mosque with this tour. As you are advised to go inside the Abu Dhabi mosque properly dressed, my friend told me that abayas will be lent to cover ourselves. Once arrived, our guide told us that it was not possible to get an abaya to cover ourselves and that we could not enter to the mosque, the only reason we went for for this tour... We were 3 women, wearing long pants or long dress, head covered by a scarf, but half arms and hand uncovered. We could not go in..... What a deception.... and no solution could be found by the guide or anyone else, just a prompt NO (no possibility to get an abaya, no possibility to buy one, no extra cardigans to be lend...)..... I just lost money for nothing as the rest of the tour was boring and not interesting at all...
For the following women who wxill make this tour: be dressed from head to toe with long sleeves, long pants, scarf or even, more better an abaya.
I won't recommend this tour for sure.
“A good program with a good guide - with room for improvements”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Nivaa, Denmark on March 27th, 2014 The program was good and the guide gave many useful informations.
Maybe the stays could be longer - at expense of the short photo-breaks. And I think the Heritage Village should be omitted - maybe replaced by Ferrari City.
The pickup of people in different places takes much too long time. I would prefer a common meeting place - for this case Battuta Metro station would be an option.

“Advertised as a full day's tour Left at 8.00am returned by 3.00pm”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Kirkcaldy, United Kingdom on October 26th, 2013 Tour was worth going on the trip to see the mosque but everywhere else we were taken to was just rushed, only given 30mins at next 2 stops , no time given to look around the places by ourselves. Left Abu Dhabi immediately after lunch which was at a shopping mall would of been nice to of had time to look around it.
It was not as if we were going to return late as we were back in Dubai at 3.00pm.
“OUR ABU DHABI SIGHT SEEING TOUR FROM DUBAI 09/12/13”
Reviewed by Emily from ORLANDO, United States on September 24th, 2013 ORIENT TOURS were very hospitable, accommodating and very informative. Their Bus was clean and in good condition. They are very timely. The Driver and Guide were very professional. They took us to all of the scheduled activities especially the Sheikh Zayed Mosque-the third largest mosque in the world.
I highly recommend booking all your tours with GET-YOUR-GUIDE as one can feel safe and secured, as it is like home away from home. “Lovely tour, fantastic mosque in Abu Dhabi”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Köln, Germany on May 11th, 2013 I mainly booked the tour because although my hotel was in Dubai, I really wanted to see the mosque in Abu Dhabi. We were picked up from the hotel right on time (around 6:30 am), but unfortunately we then had to drive through Dubai for almost 2 hours so we could pick up all the other guests, since my hotel was the first one we stopped at. The Sri Lankan tour guide was very nice and spoke German well. After we had left Dubai, we stopped briefly at a gas station that had a few cafes and a grocery store next to it, so we could buy something. Then we went straight to the mosque, where they handed out Abayas (black capes) to the female participants, since in the mosque your hair, arms and legs need to be covered. We had a little over an hour to visit the mosque, and that was enough time to look around, the mosque was very impressive and worth seeing. We also visited Sheikh Zayed Museum and Heritage Village. We were back in Dubai around 5 pm
“Abu Dhabi isn't Dubai”
Reviewed by Gordon from Berlin, Germany on October 8th, 2012 We really enjoyed the tour. However we have to say that Dubai is the more impressive city of the two. The day was also quite a long one, and considering the temperatures there we wouldn't take this tour again. But we definitely learned a great deal and had fun. By the way the pickup from Ras Al Khaimah went wonderfully.
“This Abu Dhabi City Tour wasn't worth the money and wasn't very informative”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Dreieich, Germany on April 11th, 2012 We got picked up from the hotel on time and without any issues. Unfortunately the tour itself was a total fail. It wasn't really a city tour of Abu Dhabi but rather a shuttle bus service with 3 stops, during which you have about an hour of free time to explore. We got barely any information about the city, and it definitely wasn't worth the price. The tour was supposed to take 8 hours but ended up taking less than 5.

“Nice excursion with a friendly team – a full five stars.”
Reviewed by Nicolas from Fürth, Germany on June 18th, 2011 Pick-up was punctual. The minibus (7 participants) was always on standby with driver and air conditioning (it was 45°C outside). Our guide actually spoke German (he'd lived in Munich for four years as a student), so we learned much about the local culture. The program was as described. We were very satisfied and were always treated friendly. Excellent – hence the five stars.

Reviewed by Harald from wien, Austria on March 21st, 2014 Die Tour was ok, die Moschee beeindruckend.

Reviewed by Rene from Schacksdorf, Germany on January 22nd, 2014 Auf dieser Tour lernt man die Highlights von Abu Dhabi kennen.
