  • Rating: 5 “One of the most beautiful places on this planet!!”

Reviewed by Justin – roseville, United States on June 27, 2015 there are many options to go to Machu Picchu but if you want to pay a little more this was a great experience. My guide Diana was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also the group I was with was very nice as well. No worries just make sure you have your passport and they take care of the rest.

  • Rating: 5 “Fantastic Choice”

Reviewed by Jennifer – Costa Mesa, United States on September 27, 2012 Surprisingly organized! When I booked originally I was nervous about train tickets and tickets to Machu Picchu, but I quickly realized how organized and put together the trip was. We were picked up from our hotel at exactly the right time, dropped off at the train station with all tickets that were needed, and were greeted in Aguas Calientes by a friendly guide. Esmerelda gave us a tour of the Ruins and she was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We were set up with viajes pacifico tours. I loved it. I would recommend booking!! Happy travels

  • Rating: 5 “I recommend the tour! Our guide had excellent knowledge...”

Reviewed by Chona – West Hills, United States on September 14, 2012 Our guide Esmeralda spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable of the history of Machu Picchu and Inca history overall. Very patient because we had to slow down several times for my 77 year old dad.

  • Rating: 5 “It was exsactly what we expected:)”

Reviewed by Jane Brinch – Aarhus, Denmark on August 13, 2012 It was great value for the price. Even though we didn't have one single guide taking us all the way up there, but a new guide at each point in the journey, they took great care in getting us there and back. Having been to MP before where I had a really excellent guide of the ruins, I had something to compare our guide with. And even though this time our guide wasn't as good as last time, I would definitly still rate him as above average. The only downside to the trip was timewise. We were hoping to have a bit more time roaming around the ruins on our own, but after the 2-hour guided tour, we only had about 10-15 minutes before deciding to go back, to be sure we had time for lunch before our train departed. But because of the long line for the busses, we still ended up only having about half an hour to get from the bus to the restaurent, have lunch, and get to the trainstation. The diferent places were more or les close, so we made it, but it was stressing.
    But overall it was positive.
