The Villa Borghese Pinciana was designed by the architect Flaminio Ponzio from sketches that were made by Scipione Borghese. He used the building as a suburban party villa, situated at the edge of Rome at that time. From the gardens, you’ll admire views of the Eternal City, which now surrounds the park.
Borghese also housed his art collection here. The villa’s gardens were reworked in the early 19th century.
If you haven’t yet experienced a Segway ride this is the perfect chance to try one out. It’s user-friendly, and requires only that you learn forward and backward to control the Segway’s movements.
Your Segway is environmentally friendly and completely free of noxious fumes and carbon dioxide emissions.
