The ocean breeze blows through your hair. As you look out across the ocean, your eyes are peeled for your first glimpse of the whales that pass by this small fishing village each year. Then, in the distance, you spot your first one. The majesty and beauty of these great animals is apparent even from here.

Hermanus Town is a small fishing village nestled along the Western Cape, and on our day together, you will have a chance to enjoy glorious ocean views, and hopefully see a whale or two. If there's time remaining after lunch, we'll visit a penguin colony or return to Cape Town with a beautiful drive along through the apple-growing region of Elgin. We'll wind our way down Sir Lowry's Pass before returning back to the Mother City.
