Time slots for the TV tower 'Early Bird' service are as follows:
November to March: from 10:00 clock to 15:00 clock
April to October: Monday - Thursday from 10:00 clock and 13:00 clock
April to October: Friday - Sunday from 10:00 clock and 11:00 clock
On Christopher Street Day, 28/06/2013, the City Circle tour ends at 14:00.
In the unlikely case of an evacuation at Berlin's TV Tower, customers with mobility problems should be aware that they may need to descend 986 steps.

What we didn't really like was that we couldn't just get a coffee in the restaurant up top- rather, each person had to order a complete breakfast…so we would have been happy to have skipped out on that. Otherwise I thought the TV tower was really cool, and the view from it was great. The bus tour was good, however it was hard to find the bus stops. Otherwise everything was good, and the bus driver was friendly.

Too colourful, too much info on the buses and cars and no clear sign at the start. Then it was hard to tell where we should get our ticket for the tower visit from and we didn't know if we should wait by the counter of the souvenir shop or the lift, and am I a VIP or not? But definitely recommended.

“Informative tour and fastest way to the TV tower”

Only problem was that the chauffeur took a longer smoking break every 3 stations, and once took two breaks for a 50 metre ride!

You spare yourself waiting in line to get into the TV tower- when you have to go to the TV tower at all…., otherwise this was an amazing city tour without having to wait long in line to get on board another bus- you can use this to avoid the expensive day cards for families to take public transport. Would go again anytime :)

Since you only get an hour you have to plan it our well. But when you pick up the tickets from Alexanderplatz, you can go to the TV tower at the same time. The bus ride worked out almost all of the time. Because of the heavy rain the bus was very full at times. In the sunshine- we also had some of that- you can experience the city in a wonderful way from above (on the top of the bus)! In the afternoon we had to spend a long time waiting for a bus in front of KaDeWe. Somehow only red buses were coming, but no yellow buses showed up. But that didn't stress us out. We'd book this again anytime. We wouldn't have been able to make our way back on foot. You get to see a lot and everything is excellently explained. The driver and the ticket seller were very friendly. Thanks very much again.

Exchanging the online ticket was problem free and at every bus stop there were staff to answer any questions for us. The TV Tower was also problem free. We highly suggest booking beforehand as we turned a 1 hour wait into a 10 minute one. The only complaint was: On our second day, sharp on 7:00pm we were kicked out of the bus somewhere in Berlin as the driver was finished for the day. When we asked him nicely how we could find our way back to somewhere we knew he told us very rudely “I have no idea, use the public transport”. We luckily made it back the the U-bahn after some confusion. That being said it was all around highly recommended!!

Also having someone talk on the bus from place to place is awesome. I suggest taking this tour on the first day, as you get a good overview of what you should go back and see on your own at a later time.

Especially with nice weather, when the roof's open!
Don't bother with the TV tower…no waits to get in, long waits to get out. It's packed full of people, the air is bad. The view's beautiful.
But you can probably see good views from the radio tower too.

Reviewed by Helga from Graz, Austria on May 7th, 2012 So far so good, but the guy at the check in of the bus and the TV tower didn't know about the offer and we had problems getting tickets.
What I found a lot worse though, was how unfriendly all the bus drivers were, and the bus controller on saturday, so much so that I'd consider not booking again. I don't want to pay for that kind of treatment.
Sorry but sadly a real no-go in tourism.

We got in quickly in the morning, and had the afternoon to do a nice sightseeing tour. Highly recommended!
