  • Rating: 4 “Best bargain to visit Berlin”

Reviewed by Reto from Horgen, Switzerland on July 4th, 2013 Of course you can not visit all the places and events which were listed in the Guidebook. We mainly gained from cheaper entries in Zoo, museums or %age in Tourist shop when buying presents. Sometimes it was sufficient to show the Guidebook only for other cases, we had to show the ticket too.
I really can recommend that WelcomeCard to all visitors of Berlin.

  • Rating: 5 “Super value, well worthwhile, accepted in most places”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Crieff, United Kingdom on June 16th, 2013 Appreciated having this recommended, would certainly recommend to others visiting Berlin. Very useful book, good map and worthwhile discounts

  • Rating: 4 “very good”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Aeschi, Switzerland on May 23rd, 2013 Everything went flawlessly, thanks! We received friendly reception everywhere and were served courteously. As someone who's not used to taking public transport, I would have liked to have been informed that there are multiple ways of getting to some of the stops. I found that out on the third day, thanks to some advice from passersby. The cancellation of our visit to the Reichstag delayed us somewhat (we had forgotten to open the message earlier, we only did that once we realized that nobody was coming), but when we got home we'd already been refunded the money, and thanks to your registration we got let through right away. Thanks so much! Best wishes, Rita Jäggi

  • Rating: 5 “Practical and helpful!”

Reviewed by Renate from Bönigen, Switzerland on May 22nd, 2013 This booking is really practical! You can pick up your card from the airport and set off from there! The guidebook is very illuminating and contains lots of good tips. And the city map is also great. We didn't get a huge amount out of the discounts, since for example we didn't want to spend a long time looking for particular restaurants, but rather preferred to go into one whenever we felt like it.

  • Rating: 4 “Everything went well including the weather.”

Reviewed by Willi from zürich, Switzerland on May 22nd, 2013 The travel routes are well-chosen and easy to follow.

  • Rating: 5 “Everything went perfectly, very satisfied”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wuppertal, Germany on May 21st, 2013 We only took part in one sightseeing tour in Potsdam (with Kaisertours) and were extremely satisfied, especially considered the short amount of time we had!!

  • Rating: 5 “Everything was great”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Frauenkirchen, Austria on May 20th, 2013 The best ticket for a short trip! You can use public transport from 8 am to 10 pm, and also get rebates on a lot of museums and other places like that! Even for Hertha! (The rebates are between 30 and 40%, which is really something!!!) The pickup and booking were really uncomplicated, we did it right at the airport. And all of that for a low price. Absolutely recommend it!

  • Rating: 4 “This was what we wanted to get out of Berlin”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Willstätt, Germany on May 19th, 2013 great short trip

  • Rating: 4 “great. Berlin is Berlin.”

Reviewed by Nelli from Bachenbülach, Switzerland on May 18th, 2013 we had to make a bit of an effort at the beginning to find the place in Tegel airport where they'd give us our documents. thanks to some friendly help we figured it out. the documents were food. I don't really know why we didn't use the % offers very much. maybe, because beforehand we got everything done that we wanted to do. e.g. we booked distel ahead of time online because we didn't know that there was a discount available for it etc. I think it had more to do with us than with the welcome card.

  • Rating: 5 “Super practical, really recommend it”

Reviewed by Theresia from Rombach, Switzerland on May 17th, 2013 We were ready to get picked up at the airport and were able to get started right away. You can use all of the public transport without stressing, and the rebates on various activities were also great. Really recommend it

  • Rating: 4 “Great in terms of the technical ride, okay in terms of content”

Reviewed by Frank from Judenau, Austria on May 13th, 2013 Really good, but they should also mention some of the essential sights or facilities that don't offer discounts. So we also had to book another guide from Marco Polo. For example, the ads for local bars were unnecessary, they take up too much space...Are you looking for the 'Tierpark'...? Right, when you're not from Berlin you go to Zoo Berlin to the 'Tiergarten' instead, and then you still don't know what's going on. Where do you go to get in? you look around the entire massive Tiergarten...but where's the entrance? Where's Berlin- Lichtenberg? When you're looking for something, the map of the city seems endless. It's nice that we were able to find what we were looking for in the end- although we had to pay to use the Internet to do so. It was definitely worth seeing :)

  • Rating: 5 “Very professional, funny, and included exciting background information! Thanks!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Ebikon, Switzerland on May 10th, 2013 Our guide knew a lot about the history and was able to answer all the questions we had about things we were interested in. Moreover, it was very fun and vivid (our guide had some old photos for us to look at. Before the tour we had already seen some of the sights- but certain things weren't really clear to us until we took this tour. And of course, our small group size was ideal!

  • Rating: 5 “Nice, cheap ticket with lots of discounts”

Reviewed by Florian from Wolferstadt, Germany on May 9th, 2013 48 hour free access to all modes of public transport! Also includes discounts for almost all of the sights in the capital city. There's nothing better for tourists than the Berlin Welcome Card!

  • Rating: 5 “You could get everywhere without any trouble.”

Reviewed by Ulrike from Wuppertal, Germany on May 9th, 2013 Whoever wants to be able to get around Berlin stress-free should take all forms of public transport with the Welcome Card. The connections are excellent and you barely have to wait. For example, the buses come every 10 minutes and the connecting buses also always come frequently. We took full advantage of the Card. Everything went great.

Reviewed by Rolf from Hohenleimbach, Germany on May 6th, 2013 It was really great that at 7:30 am we could already pick up the Welcome Card and guidebook from the distribution point in the airport. We'd book it like this again anytime. We were able to move freely through all the transport zones and also got a lot of discounts on entry fees.

  • Rating: 4 “Quick and uncomplicated”

Reviewed by Andrea from Dillenburg, Germany on May 5th, 2013 As always everything went really great. Unfortunately we got to Tegel Airport very early. You can't pick up the Welcome Card until 8 am, since the ticket counter doesn't open until 8. There were already people waiting around before then. That's a bit inconvenient. But otherwise: no complaints!!!
