  • Rating: 4 “A Great way to see Berlin!”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Elk Grove, United States on July 4th, 2013 We had the 2 day pass and was able to see what we wanted at our own pace. A great way to see Berlin.

  • Rating: 4 “Great way to See the Sights of Berlin”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Coogee, Australia on June 16th, 2013 We'd definitely recommend this tour and it is really the best way to see all the main sights which are spread out over the large city. The main tip is to buy your ticket later in the day so that it lasts for exactly 48 hours..then you can use it over 3 days. We made the mistake of buying it at 9.45 am whereas if we had bought it at midday we could have had transport for the third day. They also have ticket checkers randomly getting on the bus...we got checked 3 times in one day...so that is a bit mean if they make you get off the bus at exactly 48 hours after your ticket purchase. We found the commentary to be a bit sparse...would have liked more information. But there were plenty of buses and a lot of stops so that was all good. The boat trip part of the ticket is well worth it too.

  • Rating: 4 “Good opportunity to get to know Berlin”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from St.Martin/Mkr., Austria on May 21st, 2013 Good opportunity to go through the city and to get some information. Lots of buses around, so you never had to wait long. It would be nice if the buses would also ride later into the evening and better signs for the stops also wouldn't hurt.

  • Rating: 4 “Get on, get going and look around...”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Weil der Stadt, Germany on May 19th, 2013 Really recommend it. The tour goes to the sights, you look at everything and then ride to the next stop. I'd book it again

  • Rating: 5 “Great, would love to go again.”

  • Rating: 5 “Definitely recommend it”

Reviewed by Petra from Köln, Germany on May 13th, 2013 Since it's stretched out over two days you're really flexible and can calmly look at everything without having to rush.

  • Rating: 5 “A very cheap way to see some of the many sights of Berlin”

Reviewed by Kerwin from Houston, United States on March 17th, 2013 The bus part of the tour is quite good as you can just ride it for 3 days and watch Berlin. I loved the recorded audio, except that I don't think the Berlin Tower is the tallest structure in Europe anymore, its the Shard in London. Plus one of the embassies are flipped. It should say the Turkish embassy then the South African embassy.

I got a chance to see parts of Berlin I had not seen before so this worked out well; the staff is polite and the buses show just about every ten minutes. Watch for traffic diversions as you will miss parts of the tour. But if you do, just hop on and off again. You can use it as your transportation around Berlin :-).

The Spree river cruise was not running for a week, but I did not find out until I got off walked around looked for it, and did not find it. However, I was offered any other tour I wanted, so I picked the asisi promenade which is at Checkpoint Charlie. This museum is worth visiting as well. So I have to come back and do the river cruise

  • Rating: 4 “A good way to see the city, but the zoo in winter is not great”

Reviewed by Lydia from Luleå, Sweden on January 28th, 2013 The bus trip is good - it includes all the places you would want and they come frequently, so it is easy to get on and off. They only go in one direction, so you have to plan your departures carefully as 2 hours is a long time to spend re-doing teh circuit (the underground system is easy to use though) The earplugs are awful.
The zoo is small in terms of area and large in terms of variety. Most of the spaces for the animals are good, although the primates and big cats were in smaller spaces than one would hope. In the winter, it was empty of people and peaceful, but the animals were also less inclined to be out an about.

  • Rating: 4 “2 DAY SIGHTSEEING.”

Reviewed by GORDON from CASTLE DONINGTON, United Kingdom on November 30th, 2012 BEST WAY OF GETTING AROUND SIGHTS.VERY GOOD COMMMENTARY,CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE BUSES EVERY 10-15 MINUTES.

  • Rating: 4 “Really good deal”

Reviewed by Paul from Chorley, United Kingdom on November 13th, 2012 The 2 day pass was really good value and mean't we could see everything we wanted.

  • Rating: 5 “really recommend it”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Jesewitz, Germany on October 31st, 2012 Booking this tour to explore Berlin was the right decision! We really made the most of our two days and have the feeling that we still haven't seen everything this huge, colorful, old and yet super-modern city has to offer. We'd definitely also recommend the boat tour, it was very informative.

  • Rating: 4 “The tour was a highlight of our stay in Berlin”

Reviewed by Manfred from Münster, Germany on October 26th, 2012 We were very satisfied, we especially enjoyed the ride on the Spree.

  • Rating: 4 “good, but too little information for a 2.5 hour tour”

Reviewed by Rene from Leipzig, Germany on October 25th, 2012 The online booking and exchanging a voucher for a real ticket went great! Nothing to complain about- it went really great. The tour, at 2 and a half hours, is pretty long. We wanted that though since we were hoping to see a great deal of Berlin…It was also great that everybody got a set of headphones, but why did we get them? For most of the time you sit through elevator music. There wasn't that much information included. We saw soooo many things during the tour, such as houses, buildings, and architectural ensembles, but we didn't know what they were, since when we went by them we just heard that music. We would have liked to have learned more information. It's great that you can use the ticket for 2 days, and it's really brilliant that you can get off the ride whenever you want. All in all I'd give this 4 stars out of 5, since it could be a bit better :) Despite that: thanks for the tour, the info that we learned and the VIP tickets that came as part of the pack

  • Rating: 4 “would love to go again”

Reviewed by Jürgen from Erkelenz, Germany on October 25th, 2012 everything went great in terms of booking and printing out the tickets, as well as getting to the meeting point. We'd recommend the bus tour, and the boat tour, too. You can see a lot from the water, even things that you wouldn't otherwise notice. The staff on both tours are friendly. Would love to go again.

  • Rating: 4 “An excellent way to see the city of Berlin”

Reviewed by Philip from Bury, United Kingdom on October 25th, 2012 We used the sight seeing tour service over two days on a recent visit to Berlin and we were not dissaponted, it takes you to all the major sights and it was value for money.
The only crtical thing was the lack of signs at the drop off sights but this did not spoil the experience.

  • Rating: 5 “cool”

Reviewed by IRINA from KALININGRAD, Russia on October 24th, 2012 everything was perfect!

  • Rating: 3 “it could have been better”

Reviewed by Franz from Albstadt, Germany on October 24th, 2012 Since the buses are overcrowded there are limits to how informative this sightseeing tour really is, and also since you can't plug in the headphones. I'd recommend that they impose a maximum number of people who can sit on the bus as well as make sure there are enough seats available. Even when you've got a seat and can hear the information you still can't see everything when the aisle is full of people. I also thought it was strange that the MasterCard payment is processed in Switzerland, which means you have to pay additional fees (since it's in a foreign country). Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this Hop-On Hop-Off tour of Berlin.

  • Rating: 4 “Informative and varied.”

Reviewed by André from Nürensdorf, Switzerland on October 24th, 2012 We enjoyed the tour and were very well-informed about all of the important stuff. Unfortunately the commentary on the boat sounded tinny and was difficult to understand.

  • Rating: 4 “The tour was very informative and went very well.”

Reviewed by Karl from Umkirch, Germany on October 22nd, 2012 There were four of us and we were all very satisfied.

  • Rating: 4 “Well-organized tour!”

Reviewed by Hermann from Leverkusen, Germany on October 21st, 2012 Recommend this tour, only the information about the sights could have been more in-depth. The TV tower combo is very good. (You can relax and enjoy the nice view without having to wait in a long line).

  • Rating: 4 “Everything was great!”

Reviewed by Simone from Pulheim, Germany on October 21st, 2012 the only thing is they didn't mark the stops/points to get on at. It's not a sightseeing tour provider, so it's a bit difficult to get back on at stations that you reached by foot. Otherwise everything is great. Really recommend it.

  • Rating: 4 “Great”

Reviewed by Andrea from Ruhmannsfelden, Germany on October 21st, 2012 Very broad tour that includes all of the sights. It would have been nice if the bus were marked more clearly, since even though we were politely told that we should go to the yellow bus, we went to one owned by the other company. You get headphones, what more could you want? The descriptions of the sights were easy to understand and very interesting from a historical perspective. Put together in a great way, really recommend it.

  • Rating: 4 “get to know the most important sights within a short period of time”

Reviewed by Marcus from Danis, Switzerland on October 20th, 2012 The Hop-on/Hop-off tour is very well suited for getting to know the city. Downside: we got stuck in traffic and had to sit on the bus for almost 3 hours to get to our destination.

  • Rating: 4 “Really recommend this bus company”

Reviewed by Martin from Märstetten, Switzerland on October 19th, 2012 We were able to visit many sights without having to wait long. Next time we'd do it like this again :) It was simply brilliant :)
