The comprehensive all-in-one city bike tour of Berlin covers all the main landmarks in just 4.5 hours, with stops every few hundred meters to discuss the sights. Let native English-speaking guides provide a fascinating commentary about the city’s troubled history, and fantastic future.

It’s an ideal tour for those who are short on time, but want to see as much of Berlin as possible in a half-day. You will cover approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers), stopping every few hundred meters, making it perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

Go to the Berlin Wall, and wander through Checkpoint Charlie. Then stand in the death strip under a watchtower, and learn what led to the Wall’s fall, and how Berlin is dealing with its past. Stand on top of Hitler’s bunker, and the site of the Nazis' infamous book-burning. See the Reichstag, and grasp how its fateful burning led to Hitler’s rise to power.

Cross through Tiergarten Park and stop at a delightful beer garden for lunch. Soak up the scenery as you explore the sprawling new government quarter. And learn how the mighty Prussians molded Berlin into a European power, as you ride through the Brandenburg Gate, over Museum Island, and across the Gendarmenmarkt.

  • Rating: 5 “It was amazing, well worth doing, great fun, extremely informative.”

Reviewed by John from nuneaton, United Kingdom on December 3rd, 2012 We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour of Berlin, we had amazing fun and met some great people all enjoying the tour as well. We were filled with so much information about the sights of Berlin by our fabulous tour guide Kate, she was such fun whilst at the same time teaching us so much about the history of Berlin and kept us all very safe. The lunchtime stop at the beer garden provided us with a lovely meal and a beer.....all in all it was a brilliant way of touring the city and we would recommend it to anybody, many thanks for the experience.

  • Rating: 5 “Awesome tour of Berlin, with a neutral non-German perspective from the guide”

Reviewed by Peter from Fulda, Germany on October 19th, 2012 This was a great tour of the highs and lows of German history led by a non-German guide, and the weather was perfect for bike riding. As Germans we purposely booked the English-language tour, and the native English-speaking guide led us through our historical triumphs and nadirs from a neutral, non-German perspective, and in a funny, informative way. It was absolutely great and really worthwhile. We also survived Berlin's street traffic, with a bit of courage and a bit of self-control. But that was also impressive, since although Berlin is very, very big it's very relaxed and people from everywhere in the world go around in a laidback way. So take advantage of the chance to experience our capital in a different way. We thought it was completely amazing. It's also good for kids. Just do it, and have a nice day in Berlin. The R. family from Fulda (Hessen)

  • Rating: 5 “Well-grounded expertise paired with a big dollop of humor!”

Reviewed by Moulin from Uetendorf, Switzerland on October 9th, 2012 The tour was easy to manage, comfortable (including the long ride through Tiergarten), and extremely interesting, since it varies between lots of information and funny remarks. Berlin's culinary specialties are also included. Definitely recommend it!

  • Rating: 5 “a great, informative tour, we had fun.”

Reviewed by Ursula from Ebikon, Switzerland on October 1st, 2012 please email me a print-out of the booking costs- I need to present it as a receipt for the school. Instead of 21 participants there were only 19 of us. I let the provider know about it. Thanks very much!

  • Rating: 5 “The best way to see the city in the shortest time, a must!”

Reviewed by Christine from Central Islip, United States on July 24th, 2012 We did the All-City Tou, and I cannot praise it enough. The bikes were so comfortable, we could have ridden all day, the tour guide was knowledgable and entertaining, and we saw so much more than we could have by bus or on foot. There was plenty of time to take photos, too. If I get the chance to visit other cities where Fat Tire Tours operate, I will definitely sign up!

  • Rating: 5 “Great bike tour of the main points of Iinterest and history”

  • Rating: 5 “A must do”

Reviewed by Shane from Wurtulla, Australia on June 8th, 2012 I knew I wasn't the only one that knew about this place when I showed up. They split the mass into small groups and was the best way to see Berlin and get a feel for the place upon arrival.Great guide and great knowledge.

  • Rating: 5 “The bike tour was amazing but complications with get your guide”

Reviewed by Rob from Macclesfield, United Kingdom on March 29th, 2012 The bike tour itself was amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough for seeing Berlin and learning loads about it. The only problem was that my confirmation from get your guide never came through and I had to get them to e-mail it to me again. When it came to attending the tour operators couldn't find the booking. It all worked out okay but it wasn't as smooth as I'd like. Again, THE BIKE TOUR WAS AMAZING!

  • Rating: 5 “Great tour, well organised, cool people!”

  • Rating: 5 “Outstanding. This was the best decision I made in Berlin.”

Reviewed by Mustapha from San Diego, United States on May 16th, 2011 The tour guide Lauren (I believe) was great. She was a German History major in college which was such an added bonus as she had a lot of knowledge on the various sights that we stopped by. I definitely felt like a saw and learned a lot about the city during this tour. This was a fun day and a very educational as well.
