  • Rating: 4 “perfect offer for if you want to take public transport”

Reviewed by Elfriede from München, Germany on January 3rd, 2013 It's great getting around Barcelona by metro. The metro layout is easy to understand. All the signs are easy to spot and read. Because the platforms are blocked off you can't ride without a ticket. The train stations are very clean, and so are the trains.

  • Rating: 4 “The Barcelona Card was extremely practical and helpful.”

Reviewed by Panagiota from Hagen, Germany on November 20th, 2012 it's just a shame that you can't take advantage of many of the offers in the short amount of time. However the included info and tickets were very helpful.

  • Rating: 5 “A great purchase enabled us to experience all of Barcelona”

Reviewed by sheila from Manchester, United Kingdom on November 5th, 2012 I fully recommend this card. We had 5 day option and used it for nearly everything, travel was so easy no limit on number of trips. You need to plan your days and also use guide books. We had the most fabulous time.I recommend that you buy a city map as some places are not that easy to find on the maps they provide I think I paid 4€ on La Rambla so well worth it. We used cafe at the Opera house to regroup and plan as you can sit in there and it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s not busy in the late afternoon early evening.

  • Rating: 4 “Problem-free.”

Reviewed by Tina from Berlin, Germany on November 4th, 2012 Everything went great.

  • Rating: 3 “a great thing if you want to visit a bunch of museums”

Reviewed by Karin from Zürich, Switzerland on October 28th, 2012 You can easily pick up the card at the airport, but unfortunately it's not good for the buses that go to the hotel. The train is included, but it's rather awkward to carry luggage first to another terminal and then on the metro.
Otherwise, the card is very practical, as it's good for the metro, trams and city buses. It wasn't very clear to us, however, that you needed to stamp the card for every bus and tram-trip and not just once a day (as we said when we were approached by the ticket-checkers)
If you want to visit many museums, it's worth it to get the card since you can visit almost all of them for free.
Unfortunately, the opening times listed in the guide book aren't always optimal. Sometimes they're not in there and you standing in front of locked doors. It's best to check online.

  • Rating: 5 “Super”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Bonstetten, Switzerland on October 28th, 2012 Very good value for the price

  • Rating: 4 “A must for visiting the City”

Reviewed by Margaret from Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom on October 22nd, 2012 Card very easy to collect from airport tourism office. Was extremely useful when getting about Barcelona on the metro system and getting to and from the airport.
    Would highly recommend.

  • Rating: 5 “excellent”

Reviewed by Christophe from Blonay, Switzerland on October 18th, 2012 excellent

  • Rating: 3 “Altogether good, however it does not apply to all public transportation”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Bad Soden, Germany on October 17th, 2012 This ticket does not apply to all public transportation, which I was disappointed by. You would expect that for 47 euro. So there was unfortunately a nasty surprise at the airport.

  • Rating: 3 “altogether OK, but the 10-ride ticket for the metro could have been cheaper”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Ketsch, Germany on October 15th, 2012 The benefits were of little interest to us. We were unable to take the Aerobus from the airport into the city for free. A shame...

  • Rating: 4 “very good things”

Reviewed by Edith from Berneck, Switzerland on October 15th, 2012 we were given some privileges (though not for free) such as use of the funicular on the Montjouic

  • Rating: 4 “highly recommended!”

Reviewed by Jürgen-Peter from Mitterndorf an der Fischa, Austria on October 13th, 2012 highly recommended! Easy and comfortable!

  • Rating: 5 “completely satisfied outside of the weather--till soon”

Reviewed by Maria on October 9th, 2012 everything was okay

  • Rating: 4 “Good. Best to exchange your online-tickets right at the airport.”

Reviewed by Alice from Wettingen, Switzerland on October 4th, 2012 it's nice that you don't have to worry about tickets, you don't have to wait in line or have any change on hand. It's kind of expensive. Maybe some other time we'd get T-Tickets (= non-personalized multiple-ride tickets….)

  • Rating: 4 “Everything was very good and worth recommending”

Reviewed by Gisela from Kreuzlingen, Switzerland on October 4th, 2012 We're happy to recommend the ticket

  • Rating: 3 “could be improved”

Reviewed by dirk from bad essen, Germany on October 3rd, 2012 It'd be nice to get a detailed map of the subway and bus lines along with the ticket, with all of the events and presentations marked upon it, we had the impression that at some of the events and restaurants they decide individually whether to accept the ticket

  • Rating: 4 “An excellent tour”

Reviewed by Diethard sven from Vilsbiburg, Germany on October 1st, 2012 the most comfortable way to explore a city. The routes were very well-chosen and offered us the opportunity to look around at everything in peace. A lit-up round tour would also be really nice.

  • Rating: 5 “Everything went perfectly and I was very satisfied!”

Reviewed by Marion from Gmünd, Austria on September 23rd, 2012 I'd definitely recommend that everyone visiting Barcelona use the Barcelona Card. Not only does it make it a lot easier to use public transport but it also lets you save a lot of money on various entry fees!

  • Rating: 4 “good and practical”

Reviewed by Karl from Mönchengladbach, Germany on September 17th, 2012 Worth recommending, it's easy to handle and you can use it in a lot of places. However my 3-day card stopped working on the afternoon of the third day and I had to ask for help at the info-center.

  • Rating: 5 “The Barcelona card was appropriate for 5 days and was a definite advantage for getting around the ci”

Reviewed by Friedrich from Seedorf, Germany on September 14th, 2012 if you really want to get to know the city you should use the Barcelona card

  • Rating: 4 “Everything was good”

Reviewed by Maike from Hildesheim, Germany on August 28th, 2012 Easy to exchange the vouchers for the Barcelona Card. Lots of discounts from the card.

  • Rating: 2 “Even though you don't use everything up, it's still practical”

Reviewed by Regine from Bern, Switzerland on August 18th, 2012 Too expensive, since public transport is really cheap, you can get tickets from machines all over. The discounts are within reasonable limits. However they're practical, if you can't speak the language you're saved from having to waste time trying to figure out how to use the machines

  • Rating: 3 “from the outset a good idea, but doesn't offer advantages for everyone.”

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Krefeld, Germany on August 8th, 2012 We got the 5-day ticket for an 8-day stay in Barcelona. The ticket's definitely good, especially when you spend a lot of time on the subway. The discounts it includes for a lot of sights, such as for example the Sagrada Familia, should definitely be a lot bigger. It'd also be nice if it included a discount on the beloved Hop-on Hop-off tour. At 24 euro they're pretty expensive, especially if you're traveling with your family. In any case there should be even bigger discounts for families.

  • Rating: 3 “essentially an awesome idea, but there was room for improvement throughout.”

Reviewed by Christoph from Krefeld, Germany on August 8th, 2012 The Barcelona Card should provide much larger discounts- a 2 euro reduction from 18 euro to 20 euro doesn't make a real difference !!!!
