“Great way to avoid having to wait in line at the sights”
Reviewed by Christina from Backnang, Germany on August 19th, 2012 At the end it was a bit complicated to understand the system. We saved a lot of time waiting and also got to see the desired sights for cheaper. Really recommend the Holland Pass

“I really recommend it!”
Reviewed by Peter from Berlin, Germany on July 27th, 2012 Everything was as described. Only the point where you can get the Holland Pass should be more clearly marked out.

“All worked out really well.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Hamburg, Germany on April 23rd, 2012 Exchanging the voucher for a Holland pass went really smoothly.
I would have wished for a list of the most important/most loved sights, so you can decide beforehand if the pass is worth it. But that's not to put it down at all, you get a book as thick as a novel full of recommendations on where to save.
We were in Amsterdam. All the important museums and sights aren't completely covered, but a lot are. And when the vouchers are all used up there's still the discount card, with which you get money off entry. Our trip was pretty museum-heavy.
Our verdict: recommended.

“Absolutely great would recommend this to anyone to buy before you fly.”
Reviewed by Helen from London, United Kingdom on April 6th, 2012 Having just got back from Amsterdam, having this card was great. No queuing, information readily available on every street. Great that tickets last a whole year as was not able to use them all before my return to UK. Had two tickets left but really got value for money on tickets that I did use. Green ticket was difficult as not many places accepted them, but did not really matter as had used the most popular tickets.
Would recommend that anyone travelling to Amsterdam bought these before leaving as it saves so much time.

“Very useful if you are staying in Amsterdam for 3-4 days”
Reviewed by Roser from Barcelona, Spain on November 2nd, 2011 We found the Holland pass very useful for those like us planning a very complete visit to amsterdam (3-4 days). We were planning to visit a couple of museums and do a couple of activities, and decided to buy the pass in order to get the discounts for the rest of activities. With the pass we discovered other interesting museums/activities that we wouldnt have done/visited without the pass. So in the end, it was very helpful.

“Good, but limited info at the beginning”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Glattbrugg, Switzerland on October 20th, 2011 The pass is really useful. Along with the pass you get given a guide, which explains where you can use the pass. Unfortunately though, the bit about the queues isn't true everywhere and some of the restaurants didn't know of the pass and didn't give us the 10% or whatever off.
N.B. - on the online booking confirmation it says that the pick-up time is 8am. However, the GWK Travelex office in Amsterdam only opens at about 10!
Also, they only accept passports, no other types of identification such as ID card or driving licence.
P.S. You get red (tulips), blue (windmills) and green (clogs) vouchers for free or reduced entry to the museums. With the red ones you can get in free almost everywhere, with the blue or green you mostly just get reduced admission. It's all explained in the guide.
Despite the initial difficulties, we had a really successful, interesting stay in Amsterdam!

“Was worth doing.”
Reviewed by Heidi from Nussbaumen/Baden, Switzerland on October 3rd, 2011 The thing about 'no queuing' didn't really work. But if you like visiting museums it's worth doing.

“excellent”
Reviewed by Erika from Attard, Malta on September 28th, 2011 No questions asked at any outlet in which we used the discount cards & a very large variety of places to choose from.

“Generally a good deal, advance information a bit lacking”
Reviewed by Monika from Wien, Austria on September 11th, 2011 You definitely make a saving with this pass. It's basically a voucher system. The thing about 'no queueing' isn't quite true because you have to exchange the vouchers for tickets and there isn't always a seperate counter open. More detailled information on the internet about the different possibilities would be desirable (Which attractions are included?). Also that there's 'just' a reduction on public transport (and most importantly how you get it!!!), rather than free use of public transport being included.

“Get in cheaply where you would normally pay a lot and queue”
Reviewed by Robert from Rostock, Germany on July 12th, 2011 This was the fourth year in a row that we went to Amsterdam and thanks to the Holland Pass, we know bared to visit Museums, Madame Tussauds, and a grachten tour. Until before we always thought the prices were too high. But with the pass for 39,50€ you can visit two very popular sights, or, 2 popular, and 1 ok sight. We definitely recommend the Amsterdam Museum and the Grachten tour. I am happy that I didn't visit Madame Tussauds before for the full price. It's nice, but too short to pay 21€. Thankfully with the Holland Pass you spent maybe 10 € for it :-)

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Bierbach, Germany on December 10th, 2012 Der Hollandpass mit 5 Eintreten ist bei geschickter Einlösung sehr lobenswert.

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from St.johann in tirol, Austria on December 10th, 2012 Die Tickets kennt man nicht überall, bzw werden auch nicht überall angenommen.

Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Berlin, Germany on August 1st, 2010
