“Gerk is great!”
Reviewed by David from Oakland, United States on September 8th, 2013 Gerk spent almost 4 hours showing us sights of Amsterdam while imparting the history in enjoyable bites. It was a great introduction to our first week ever in Amsterdam. We highly recommend Gerk and will do another tour when next in Amsterdam.

“Holland Personal Guide”
Reviewed by Gary from Eagan, United States on November 17th, 2012 Gerk was great. He met us, on time, and walked us through Amsterdam, while telling us so much about the history of the city and pointing out the architectural details and interesting facts, you would never get in a traditional tour.
“My Amsterdam private walking tour was the best tour ever!”
Reviewed by Zabrina from Marietta, United States on October 28th, 2012 My Amsterdam private walking tour by Holland Personal Tour Guide with Mr. Kazemier was the best tour I have had in a very long time. I toured the city of Amsterdam while learning interesting and little known historical facts that you just do not get while touring on your own or with large groups. Mr. Kazemier was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and a joy to listen to while touring. I will definitely be using Holland Personal Tour Guide again.
“Sensational, individualized sightseeing tour!”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Linz, Austria on September 17th, 2012 We had a very nice, professional guide lead us through Amsterdam, he wasn't always checking the time and set aside almsot 4 hours to show us the loveliest places in the city and to bring us closer to the historical background. It was very successful, and I really recommend it!
“It was just great!!!”
Reviewed by Christel from Oer-Erkenschwick, Germany on September 14th, 2012 It was strenuous but it was worth it!! We'd never seen and experienced so much before during our previous visits to Amsterdam. Our guide knew a lot about everything and did a good job taking care of us. Thanks very much again for the great tour!!!!!
“Informative, very friendly and engaging”

It was so intense that we really got a great 'feel' for the city. Thanks very much, again!
“a nice tour of a cool city”
Reviewed by Tony from Demen, Germany on July 30th, 2012 Our tour guide, a nice older man, led us through the historical old city in a wonderful way. A few more jokes would have made the whole thing a bit livelier. However I found the tour to be very easy to understand and successful.
Reviewed by Horst from Winnerath, Germany on July 25th, 2012 All of our expectations for a successful tour were fulfilled: our guide answered our questions in an exemplary and very nice way.

“Highly informative tour of the Old City with no stress; recommend it!”
Reviewed by Stefan from München, Germany on July 11th, 2012 This tour is worth every penny. Our Amsterdam guide Gerk, a onetime teacher, who worked in the north of Holland, moved to Amsterdam and chose to become a trainee at a small hotel (to break into the tourism industry) and now leads individual tours, paid attention to every guest, offers to take breaks throughout and doesn't closely monitor the precise length of the tour. On the first day he brought us a lot closer to this unbelievably interesting city and laid the foundations for our sympathy for it. You can always discuss current events and the way things are viewed in Holland (for example the Euro or soccer ;) ) with him. You just shouldn't be a Rotterdam fan- despite his advanced age he never was one and never will be. You notice his die-hard love of Amsterdam, which he does a good job spreading: he lives the motto I AMSTERDAM!
Reviewed by Sarah from Birmingham, United States on June 17th, 2012 I highly recommend Gerk's tour of Amsterdam. We did the 3 hour walking tour and it was fantastic. Email communication with Gerk prior to tour was very prompt. He has a great knowledge of the city and its history. Would love to do one of his day tours next time we're in Amsterdam!

“Kompetent. Sympathisch. Toll.”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Rodgau, Germany on October 25th, 2013 Diese Stadtführung ist absolut empfehlenswert. :o)
Und das will was heissen! :-)
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Wernigerode, Germany on August 27th, 2013 Sehr schöne interessante Tour durch die Altstadt. Danke noch mal an Herrn Gerk Kazemier! Vieles gesehen und erfahren was einem sonst verborgen geblieben wäre. Absolut empfehlenswert!
“Ein toller Rundgang durch die Geschichte Amsterdams.”
Reviewed by Werner from Lollar, Germany on August 25th, 2013 Viele versteckte Kleinode kennengelernt, die man ohne einen Guide gar nicht finden würde.
“Sehr zu empfehlen”
Reviewed by a GetYourGuide Customer from Köln, Germany on August 12th, 2013 Die Tour war sehr interessant, informativ und unterhaltsam.
